Porous SiO2 antireflective (AR) coatings are prepared from the colloidal silica solution modified with methyltriethoxysilane (MTES) based on the sol-gel route. The viscosity of modified silica suspensions changes but their stability keeps when MTES is introduced. The refractive indices of modified coatings vary little after bake treatment from 100 to 150 Celsius. The modified silica coatings on Ti:sapphire crystal, owning good homogeneity, display prominent antireflective effect within the laser output waveband (750-850 nm) of Ti:sapphire lasers, with average transmission above 98.6%, and own laser induced damage thresholds (LIDTs) of more than 2.2 J/cm2 at 800 nm with the pulse duration of 300 ps.

膜层稳定性对于激光器能否长期稳定使用极为重要。多孔SiO。减反膜经热处理后,结构中还存在许多Si—OH亲水基团,透过率稳定性受环境相对湿度的影响较大。向膜层中掺入有机硅,添加疏水基团,提高了膜层的疏水性,增强了膜层的透过率稳定性。膜层中加了Si-CH3疏水基团,膜层的疏水性大大提高;当Si-CH3与二氧化硅悬胶体中的Si的摩尔比为1/5.7时,即Si—CH3质量分数为0.35%时的二氧化硅膜层,其减反效果好,疏水性也高,从而大幅度提高了膜层的透过率稳定性,延长了膜层的寿命,对二氧化硅膜层具有高激光损伤阈值

以(CH3)2Si(OC2H5)2为前驱体,采用溶胶-凝胶与有机合成相结合的方法,制得稳定性良好的涂膜液。采用旋转涂膜法在掺钕磷酸盐激光玻璃棒端面涂制防潮膜,膜层固化后透过率达96.5%,获得的膜层表面粗糙度优良,均方根表面粗糙度(RMS)为1.659nm,平均粗糙度(RA)平均为1.321nm;在激光波长1053nm,脉冲宽度1 ns条件下膜层的激光破坏闽值可达10~14 J/cm^2。经过“神光Ⅱ”高功率激光器物理实验运行,膜层使用期为五年,并且已经在我国“神光Ⅲ”原型装置上试用。

采用溶胶-凝胶方法制备(CH3)2Si(OC2H5)2预聚体涂膜液以及掺入SiO2悬胶体涂膜液改性,采用旋转法在掺钕磷酸盐激光玻璃棒端面涂制防潮膜,热处理后膜层固化。SiO2改性的CH3O防潮膜,热处理后的膜层耐摩擦性能明显改善。然后旋转涂制第二层多空性SiO2减反膜,涂膜胶体通过硅酸乙脂碱催化水解缩聚制得,减反膜的折射率为约1.25,玻璃棒涂膜后激光波长1053nm减少表面反射率6.5%-7.5%,双层膜激光破坏阈值12J/cm^2,1053nm/1ns,膜层表面粗糙度(RMS)2.523nm。直径20

The optical properties of zirconia films doped with rhodamine 6G and oxazine 725 by the sol-gel process were investigated using spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE). Accurate refractive index n and the extinction coefficient k were determined using a three-oscillator classical Lorentz model in the wavelength range of 300-800 nm. The derived refractive index of dye-doped films exhibited anomalous dispersion in the absorption region. Wavelength tunable output lasing action yellow and near-infrared wavelength region was achieved by DFB configuration using zirconia films doped with R6G and oxazine 725. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. The zirconia-titania-ORMOSIL waveguide thin films with considerable optical quality were prepared by the sol-gel process. The refractive index (n) and the extinction coefficient (k) were determined by a scanning ellipsometer. Wavelength tunable output of distributed feedback waveguide lasing was demonstrated in Rhodamine 6G doped ZrO2 TiO2-ORMOSIL thin films by varying the temperature, and about 5.5 nm wavelength tuning range was achieved around the emission wavelength of 599 nm. Hybrid TiO2/ormosil waveguiding films have been prepared by the sol-gel method at low thermal treatment temperature of 150° C. The influence of processing parameters including the molar ratios of titanium butoxide (Ti(OBu)(4))/3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GLYMO) and H2O/Ti(OBu)(4) (expressed as R), especially aging of sot on the optical properties was investigated. The optical properties of films were measured with scanning electron microscope (SEM), UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer (UV-Vis), m-line and the scattering-detection method. The results indicate that the film thickness increases with the increase of sol aging time, but the variation of refractive index as a function of sot aging time depends on the relative ratios of GLYMO to Ti(OBu)(4). Higher transmittance and lower attenuation of the planar waveguide can be obtained in the sol with lower Ti(OBu)(4) contents and shorter aging time.

TiO2/ormosil films doped with laser dyes have been prepared by the sol-gel method. Spectroscopic properties of the entrapped dyes are studied by the absorption and emission techniques. The results indicate that the absorption and fluorescence spectra of kiton red depend strongly on the properties of the ormosil matrices. The heat-treatment of the kiton red-doped film obviously leads to the increasing fluorescence intensity and the largest fluorescence intensity is obtained after heat-treatment of 150 degrees C for 2 h. However, the fluorescence intensity of the rhodamine 6G-doped film decreases with the increase of the heat-treatment temperature. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Hybrid ZnO/ormosils Elms are prepared by the sol-gel method. A FT-IR spectrometer, 900 UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer, atomic force microscope, and ellipsometer are employed to investigate microstructure and optical properties of the films fired at different temperatures. The results show that the films with high transmittance and low surface roughness could be obtained at the heat-treatment temperature of 150 degrees C, the refractive index and thickness of the film are 1.413, 2.11 mu m, respectively. Higher temperatures (350 degrees C, 550 degrees C) change the Elm microstructure severely, and then decrease the transmittance of the films.

abstract = {TiO2/ormosil planar waveguide was prepared by sol-gel method at low thermal treatment temperature ( less than or equal 200°C). Scanning electron microscope, FT-IR spectrometer, spectrophotometer, atomic force microscopy, thermal analyzer, and dark m-line spectroscopy were used with the method of scattering-detection to investigate optical and structural properties. High optical quality waveguide film was obtained. The propagation loss of film was 0.569 dB/cm at a wavelength of 632.8 nm.

Transparent and homogeneous aluminophosphate gels and glasses have been widely synthesized through an aqueous sol-gel route, extending significantly the glass-forming range compared to that accessible via the melt-cooling route. Different phosphorus precursors, sodium polyphosphate (NaPO3) and orthophosphate species (NaH2PO4 and/or H3PO4) were compared with regard to the macroscopic properties and the microscopic structure of the resultant gels and glasses as characterized by extensive high-resolution liquid- and solid-state NMR. Sodium polyphosphate solution results in a substantially wider composition range of homogenous gel formation than orthophosphate solutions, and the two routes produce significant structural differences in the sol and xerogel states. Nevertheless, the structures of the glasses obtained upon gel annealing above 400 degrees C are independent of the P-precursors used. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A series of binary borosilicate glasses prepared by the sol-gel method are shown to be bioactive. Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) and trimethylborate (TMB) in acidic medium are used to prepare xB(2)O(3)center dot(1-x)SiO2 glass systems for x = 0.045-0.167. The formation of a layer of apatite-like mineral on the glass surface becomes apparent after soaking in simulated body fluid for 48 h. We have measured the B-11-B-11 homonuclear second moments of the borosilicate glasses and inferred that no macroscopic phase separation occurred in our glasses. The B-11 chemical shift data also show that the formation of clustered boroxol rings is negligible in our glass system. Although the bioactivity of our borosilicate glasses is less than that of CaO-SiO2 sol-gel glasses, these simple binary systems could be taken as reference glass systems for the search of new bioactive borosilicate glasses. 在预先镀有ZnO纳米层的(0001)蓝宝石衬底上利用低温水热法制备出ZnO薄膜。SEM和XRD显示此ZnO膜是由六棱柱状阵列构成的,基于蓝宝石衬底生长,具有高度的c轴择优取向,且(0004)摇摆曲线的FWHM达到1.8°。并发现了在水热溶液中加入一定量六次甲基四胺可以调节六棱柱状ZnO尺寸比例。

用溶胶-凝胶(Sol-gel)技术以及柠檬酸自燃方法制备了NiMn2.0-xFexO4(x=0、0.1、0.15、0.2、0.3)纳米氧化物粉体,并将得到的超细粉体进行压片、烧结、封装等工艺制得热敏电阻。用XRD、SEM、电阻测量等手段表征了烧结体材料的晶相、微观形貌以及电阻性能。电阻测量结果表明:随着铁离子的增加,所得热敏电阻的阻值增大。在所有获得的材料中,其灵敏度B值大于4300K,可认为是一种具有实际应用价值的负系数热敏电阻。
