A figura de Maria está em processo de emancipação, de uma Maria divinizada e pura, para uma Maria concreta, humana e mulher. Sua emancipação vem em decorrência das conquistas e vitórias que as mulheres de hoje têm buscado e alcançado. Claro que essas mudanças vêm ocorrendo restritamente em uma determinada linha teológica, que a partir de uma hermenêutica libertadora e a partir do feminino como ele se mostra pra nós hoje, pensa Maria como figura (mulher) concreta. Mas, como símbolo religioso, ela será sempre Virgem, Mãe e Esposa, e as novas interpretações serão sempre um esforço de superar o modelo de mulher ideal projetado no simbolismo de Maria, vista com os óculos do patriarcalismo. Parale la a essa nova interpretação do simbolismo religioso mariano, encontra-se a estrutura do feminino como nova chave hermenêutica para se pensar Deus, perspectiva que revela a transcendência divina e sua humanidade presente também na figura da mulher. Deus-Mãe é um termo bastante utilizado nos círculos populares, a partir da leitura bíblica de textos veterotestamentário e também está restrito às academias, acepção que dificilmente se pronunciará no âmbito religioso evangélico e na sociedade, pois a cultura ainda está impregnada de patriarcalismo, onde a supremacia masculina inibe de se pensar o feminino como estrutura que transcende sua natureza humana.

O objetivo deste trabalho é pesquisar a liderança das mulheres no cristianismo primitivo, a partir da figura de Maria Madalena em Jo 20,1-18. A abordagem exegética, bem como a pesquisa sobre a situação das mulheres no primeiro século, aponta: a) as mulheres que seguiam a Jesus faziam parte do grupo dos discípulos, e Maria Madalena tinha uma grande influência entre eles na comunidade; b) ela acompanhou Jesus desde o início do seu ministério na Galiléia, e a sua liderança e autoridade no cristianismo primitivo lhe confere o status de discípula; c) a perícope estudada tem como contexto um conflito de lideranças entre três tradições: a joanina, a petrina e a de Maria Madalena. Comparando a perícope joanina com alguns escritos gnósticos percebemos que nesses escritos, a liderança de Maria Madalena é manifestada com maior intensidade e o conflito com Pedro é mais acentuado. Ela é considerada Mestra dos discípulos. A pesquisa não só resgata a figura de uma líder do cristianismo, como também mostra, na exegese, o processo de cooptação da liderança feminina.(AU)

Este estudo visa analisar as interferencias do Banco Mundial na Educacao Brasileira a partir do estudo de seis teses (aqui identificadas pelas iniciais A,B,C, D, E e F) de doutorado relativas ao tema, defendidas na Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), sendo quatro delas (A, B, C, e D) voltadas a area de educacao e duas (E e F) a area de Ciencias Sociais e Economia. O estudo das teses parte dos objetivos de cada uma, que podem ser resumidos da seguinte forma: a Tese A - ¡ªA Mundializacao da Educacao: o Projeto Neoliberal de Sociedade e de Educacao no Brasil e na Venezuela. Este estudo teve a intenção de analisar até que ponto o uso de diferentes bases de poder dos superiores hierárquicos predizem os níveis de engajamento no trabalho e de resiliência dos trabalhadores, colaborando para aumentar o conhecimento sobre o comportamento dos servidores públicos municipais, quanto aos níveis de engajamento no trabalho e resiliência apresentados. Partiu-se da definição de poder de French e Raven (1959): poder é a influência potencial que o agente O poderia causar no sujeito P; adotou-se o conceito de engajamento no trabalho de Schaufeli e Bakker (2003), que definem engajamento no trabalho como um construto motivacional positivo, caracterizado por vigor, dedicação e absorção, sempre relacionado ao trabalho, o qual implica sentimento de realização, envolve estado cognitivo positivo, é persistente no tempo, apresentando, assim, natureza motivacional e social e por fim utilizou-se o conceito de Grotberg (2005) que define resiliência como a capacidade humana para enfrentar, vencer e ser fortalecido ou transformado por experiências de adversidades . Para isto, definiu-se como objetivo geral testar a capacidade preditiva das bases de poder social dos chefes sobre a resiliência e o engajamento no trabalho, em servidores públicos municipais de Diadema - SP. Participaram deste estudo 95 servidores públicos municipais do município de Diadema, SP, com pequena maioria de indivíduos do sexo feminino (51,6%), com maior percentual de idade entre 25 e 40 anos (38,9%). A maioria dos participantes (60%) declarou possuir nível superior completo (35,8%) ou pós-graduação (24,2%). Utilizou-se os instrumentos: Escala de Bases de Poder do Supervisor (EBPS), escala desenvolvida por Martins e Guimarães (2007); Escala de Avaliação da Resiliência (EAR), escala construída por Martins, Siqueira e Emilio (2011) e a Escala de Engajamento no Trabalho de UTRECHT (UWES) que tiveram seus indicadores de validade e fidedignidade apurados neste estudo. Como resultado constatou-se parcialmente a existência de associação entre engajamento no trabalho e resiliência, pois engajamento no trabalho correlacionou-se com três dos cinco fatores de resiliência: adaptação positiva à mudanças, competência pessoal e persistência diante de dificuldade. Verificou-se que as dimensões que compõem a variável resiliência obtiveram médias ao redor do ponto quatro da escala de resiliência (frequentemente é verdade), indicando que os participantes frequentemente percebem a si mesmos como capazes de enfrentar as adversidades da vida em função da sua alta percepção de persistência, capazes de adaptar-se às mudanças, com bom nível de competência pessoal e de espiritualidade. Constatou-se que as médias nas dimensões que compõem a variável engajamento no trabalho ficaram muito próximas do ponto quatro da escala de engajamento (algumas vezes na semana), indicando que eles percebem em si um alto grau engajamento no trabalho, ou seja, que possuem vigor, são dedicados e deixam-se absorver pelo trabalho. Verificou-se ainda que os trabalhadores percebem o poder de perícia como o mais empregado pelos seus superiores hierárquicos com média de 4,46 (DP= 0,71). Por fim, os resultados obtidos apontaram que o papel e o posicionamento da chefia não provocaram impacto significativo em nenhuma das variáveis consequentes, portanto, bases de poder não explicam resiliência para os trabalhadores participantes desta pesquisa como também não predisseram engajamento no trabalho.

Markers of increased oxidative stress are known to be elevated following acute myocardial infarction and in the context of chronic left ventricular hypertrophy or heart failure, and their levels may correlate with the degree of contractile dysfunction or cardiac deficit. An obvious pathological mechanism that may account for this correlation is the potential deleterious effects of increased oxidative stress through the induction of cellular dysfunction, energetic deficit or cell death. However, reactive oxygen species have several much more subtle effects in the remodelling or failing heart that involve specific redox-regulated modulation of signalling pathways and gene expression. Such redox-sensitive regulation appears to play important roles in the development of several components of the phenotype of the failing heart, for example cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, interstitial fibrosis and chamber remodelling. In this article, we review the evidence supporting the involvement of reactive oxygen species and redox signalling pathways in the development of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure, with a particular focus on the NADPH oxidase family of superoxide-generating enzymes which appear to be especially important in redox signalling.

Prescribing support tools range from traditional printed texts to state-of-the-art computerised decision support systems. Comparison between available literature is difficult due to country-specific resources often being the focus of the research. In the UK, it is widely accepted that hospitals take their own individualised approaches to reducing prescribing errors. Objective - This study focused on specialist paediatric hospitals. It aimed to identify the localised approaches taken by paediatric hospitals to reduce prescribing errors. Method - Applied thematic analysis was used to explore the publically published board meeting minutes from the four specialist stand-alone paediatric hospitals in England. Three years of data was collected from each hospital. Codes were collected into groups to identify themes from the data. Results - The main themes identified were clinician involvement in prescribing support is important; credit card-sized reminder tools are used to provide prescribing guidance; electronic prescribing is considered important for reducing prescribing errors; feedback from clinical pharmacists on prescribing errors is widely used; junior doctors require extra support when prescribing; medical records may be incomplete and specific prescribing support (eg, antibiotic prescribing support) is widely in use. Conclusions - There is no single collaborative approach taken to paediatric prescribing support in English paediatric hospitals. Success of electronic prescribing in English paediatric hospitals is considerably behind leaders such as the USA. Use of clinical pharmacists to support prescribers is important as supported by previous studies in Spain and the USA.

The long-term foetal surveillance is often to be recommended. Hence, the fully non-invasive acoustic recording, through maternal abdomen, represents a valuable alternative to the ultrasonic cardiotocography. Unfortunately, the recorded heart sound signal is heavily loaded by noise, thus the determination of the foetal heart rate raises serious signal processing issues. In this paper, we present a new algorithm for foetal heart rate estimation from foetal phonocardiographic recordings. A filtering is employed as a first step of the algorithm to reduce the background noise. A block for first heart sounds enhancing is then used to further reduce other components of foetal heart sound signals. A complex logic block, guided by a number of rules concerning foetal heart beat regularity, is proposed as a successive block, for the detection of most probable first heart sounds from several candidates. A final block is used for exact first heart sound timing and in turn foetal heart rate estimation. Filtering and enhancing blocks are actually implemented by means of different techniques, so that different processing paths are proposed. Furthermore, a reliability index is introduced to quantify the consistency of the estimated foetal heart rate and, based on statistic parameters; [,] a software quality index is designed to indicate the most reliable analysis procedure (that is, combining the best processing path and the most accurate time mark of the first heart sound, provides the lowest estimation errors). The algorithm performances have been tested on phonocardiographic signals recorded in a local gynaecology private practice from a sample group of about 50 pregnant women. Phonocardiographic signals have been recorded simultaneously to ultrasonic cardiotocographic signals in order to compare the two foetal heart rate series (the one estimated by our algorithm and the other provided by cardiotocographic device). Our results show that the proposed algorithm, in particular some analysis procedures, provides reliable foetal heart rate signals, very close to the reference cardiotocographic recordings. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. This study investigated the intention of the older workers to continue working after state pension age/time. On this way, it explores the relation between this intention and factors related with the meanings of the work and retirement. Specifically, it was examined that factors related to work and non-work are predictors of the intention to continue working, and it was explored if meanings of retirement are linked to this decision. It is a crosssectional mixed methods study, using a survey conducted with 283 federal civil servants of a federal Northeastern University which were near retirement. It envolved an on-line questionnaire, with open-ended questions and the likert-type scale "Older Worker's Intention to Continue Working" (OWICW) of Shacklock and Brunneto (2011), which was validated to the Brazilian version. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and multivariate statistics, specifically procedures for comparing means and coefficients of multiple logistic regression. The qualitative data were analyzed using the lexicographical technique Descending Hierarchical Classification. The findings indicate that most participants want to continue in paid work, and that perception of personal autonomy at work, interpersonal relationships at work, interests outside of work, and flexible working arrangements are significant predictors of intention to continue working. Furthermore, the perception of personal autonomy at work, flexible working arrangements, and the financial incentives are predictors of decision to postpone retirement and remain in the organization. The analysis revealed five patterns of meanings of retirement: "worker's right", "resting", "idle time at home", "new stage in the life course", and "enjoy the use of time”. The decision to postpone retirement is linked to idleness and lack of substitutionary activities work, and the decision to stop working linked to retirement as a life with more quality. The study provides information that can contribute with management policies before the process of retirement decision.

Introduction: The circadian system has neural projections for the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS), directly interfering with sympathetic-vagal modulation of the cardiovascular system. Disturbances in the circadian system, such as phase changes in light-dark cycle (LD), has been related to the risk of development of cardiovascular diseases due to increased sympathetic tone and reduction o Heart Rate Variability (HRV - RR intervals). Purpose: Investigate the interaction between Circadian Timing System and cardiac autonomic control in rats. Materials and methods: We used 18 Wistar rats (♀, age = 139.9 ± 32.1 days, weight = 219.5 ± 16.2 g), divided into three distinct groups: Control (CG), phase delay of 6h (GDe) and phase advance of 6h (GAd). Three animals were excluded during data collection (CG/GDe/GAd - n=5). Telemeters were surgically implanted in each animal for continuous acquisition of electrocardiographic (ECG) signals (duration of 21 days in the CG and 28 days in GDe/ GAd). A LD cycle was established 12h: 12h, beginning of light at18:00h and dark at 06:00h. The animals remained in the same CG LD cycle throughout the experimental period, while, on the 14th day of registration, the GDe and GAd underwent a delay and an advance in 6h, respectively. Throughout the experimental period, the locomotor activity (LA), the mean heart rate (mHR) and variables related to iRR [mean RR (mRR), SDNN, RMSSD, LF, HF and LF/ HF ratio ] were recorded. All data were analyzed in blocks of 3 and 7 days, for the presence of circadian rhythm, values of Cosinor - mesor, amplitude and acrophase (paired t test), phase relationship, differences between light and dark (t test independent), averages every 30 minutes along each time series (two-way ANOVA with post hoc Bonferroni). The data block B1,M1 and M2 in CG served as benchmarks for comparisons between series of analysis of the GAT/GAV. Results: We observed circadian rhythmicity in the variables LA, mRR and mFC(p<0.01). mRR and mFC showed phase relationship with the LA in all three groups, being less stable in GAd. In the CG, no significant differences between blocks were found in any of the analyzes(p>0.05). Among the 7 day blocks, there was a significant reduction in mRR(p=0.04) and mFC(p=0.03) in GDe and significant reduction in HF mean(p=0.02) in GAd; and between 3 day blocks, a significant increase of LF/HF(p= 0.04) in the GDe; besides mRR(p=0.03), SDNN(p=0.04), RMSSD (p=0.04), LF (p=0.01) and HF(p=0.02) significant increase in the GAd. It was found that the differences between the means of the mRR, LA and mFC in light and dark phases were not significant after phase changes in some of the blocks/moments (GDe and GAd). No significant results were found when comparing rhythmic variables means every 30 minutes over the blocks, except for a significant decrease in mRR at the middle of the dark phase (B2) and the start of light phase (B3) - (p<0.01). Conclusion: phase advances and delays (6h) altered cardiac autonomic control in the experimental groups by temporarily HRV decrease. Phase advances apparently had greater negative interference in this process, in relation to the phase delays.

This study aims to analyze citizen participation in state policy decisions, as an essential element of legitimacy in the branches of government, especially in the sphere of the Executive, in the context of deliberative democracy. But, this study still has the desideratum to understand the citizen's role in public life, especially in the sphere of the Executive Branch, in order to effect the Fundamental Right to Public Administration proba, efficient and honest. Thus, to achieve this mister, the proposal is to expose the pesamento the classic contractualist, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke and Rousseau about the legitimacy of governments, through the statutes, and the question of the general will and majority rule as well how to present the comments of Thomas Jefferson on popular sovereignty and dialogical citizen participation in matters of local interest. After, it will be studied the theories of Fundamental Rights in order to demonstrate the need for the Civil Service should be veiled in a more specific custody rights, given the deep crisis in the Public Administrative practice due, especially, corruption. On the other side, the fundamentality of management also covers the aspect of the development of cities, which decisively affects the development of man, which, to join a deliberative governance program needs to be politicized, adopting full participation, dialogue, as duty citizen. It will also be considered the Condorcet Constitution Project as a comparative link in the linking of the public deliberative will, and the Central Power, in the face of the Theory of “Sluice” Habermas. The proposal, based on communicative action, must allow a continuous flux and influx process of social interests towards the exercise of administrative power. The dialogical deal, brought to the center of the decisions, will allow discussions in the public scope, and may contribute to the legitimacy of government actions, inasmuch as it creates the feeling of politicization demanded by the man in a democratic state.

Unfavorable working conditions constitute one of the factors that may contribute to cause psychic suffering and behavioral disorders in workers. This research aimed to characterize the working conditions public servant technical- administrative , specifically the auxiliaries and assistants in administration of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte – UFRN, Natal, Brasil, as well to identify the incidence of psychic suffering in this group of public servants. As a strategy, we chose a case study of multi-method type, descriptive with quantitative and qualitative sequential steps. For this, it initially performed desk research by surveying epidemiological data for these public servants working in central campus, to identify the major diseases presented in the period from January 2011 to June 2014. Then, we proceeded to diagnostic step of the aspects related to work, by applying online and in loco of Working Conditions Survey (already validated by Borges et al., 2013a) in 11 sectors selected according to the following criteria: high number of workers public servants and major and minor percentage of absences for health care for ICD-F (according to records of Sector of Workers Health Care - DAS). In the treatment of the data the spreadsheet editor software Microsoft Office Excel and statistical SPSS Statistical Package for Social Sciences were used and made qualifying type of content analysis of open questions. Applied to this study 174 public servants and the results show a predominance of absenteeism due to mental or behavioral disorders (ICD F), musculoskeletal diseases (ICD M) and respiratory system (ICD J). Among the factors that were significant are the working hours (contractual and legal); Physical Effort (M = 2.59) and workspace (M = 2.58) - physical and material conditions; encouraging collaboration (M = 3.5) - processes and characteristics of the work; and participation (M = 1.78) - social-management environment. Therefore, it infers the existence of a relationship between these factors and some of the reasons for absenteeism reported by participants. It is suggested the expansion of this research with studies involving other professionals (including scholarship workers and contractors) and specific sectors.

Le récepteur éboueur CD36 facilite l’internalisation des acides gras libres non estérifiés (AGNE) au niveau des tissus cardiaque et périphériques. Lors d’une ischémie-reperfusion du myocarde (MI/R), les dommages produits sont en partie liés à l’internalisation des AGNE et à la production d’espèces réactives de l’oxygène, contrairement à ce qui est observé chez des souris déficientes en CD36 (CD36-/-). Nous avons émis l’hypothèse selon laquelle le CP-3(iv), un ligand synthétique du récepteur CD36, exercerait un effet cardioprotecteur en réduisant la taille de la zone myocardique infarcie lors d’une ischémie transitoire du myocarde. Nos objectifs étaient 1) de déterminer l’effet cardioprotecteur du CP-3(iv) et 2) de définir son mécanisme. Pour cela, des études in vivo et ex vivo ont été faites. Des souris de type sauvage ont été traitées avec le CP-3(iv) (289 nmol/kg) par voie sous-cutanée pendant 14 jours avant d’être soumises à 30 minutes d’ischémie suivant la ligature de l’artère coronaire gauche descendante et de sa reperfusion pendant une période de 6 ou 48 heures. De plus, des coeurs isolés de souris ont été perfusés 30 minutes, suivi de 40 minutes à faible débit (10%) et de 30 minutes de reperfusion pendant laquelle le coeur est perfusé avec le CP-3(iv) à une concentration de 10-6 M. Nos travaux ont montré que l’effet cardioprotecteur d’un traitement préventif par le CP-3(iv) permet de diminuer la taille de l’infarctus et préserve l’hémodynamie cardiaque de façon dépendante du CD36 puisque cet effet est non visible chez les souris CD36-/-. De plus, le CP-3(iv) exerce non seulement un effet systémique, mais aussi un effet cardioprotecteur direct sur le coeur isolé.
