This paper addresses the democratic school management within the school organizations. For this, initially made brief remarks on labor relations, the development of administrative and organizational theories. Later, we reflect on how the se labor relations are organized in the educational environment and what education theoretical contributions to the development of school management in Brazil. Therefore, we discuss the Brazilian educational policies that postulate and legitimate democratic school management. Studies of everyday guided the theoretical basis of this work, we wonder what school subject dealing with the discourse of democratic and participative management. Forward the hypothesis that participatory management should be a prominent space in schools, the aim of this study was to investigate the school management of a municipal school of Youth and Adult Education, which brings in your organization pedagogical foundation and educational principles espoused by Paul Freire. The specific objectives of the study are: a) to investigate and describe how is the organization's management of school youth and adults; b) understand the role of managers; c) check how teachers and administrators understand the process of managing this school. From a methodological point of view the daily life of the studies led this work to procedures and qualitative analysis of ethnographic referring to practices that have occurred in adult education school along with the theoretical foundation. Participated in this research members of the school management group and four teachers of Youth and Adult Education rooms. The results obtained showed that dialogue and democracy go together, that the school is an organization with different world views, which need to be primarily present in the identity of the schools. The play and playfulness as well as school subjects are ways that the teacher has in the classroom to mediate the relationship between knowledge and the students, providing an easier and more enjoyable learning. This paper aims to analyze how teachers in the early years of primary education, the areas of Physical Education, Education, Art and English, assesses the importance of playfulness at school, define concepts such as the playful, playing, their importance for the learning and social life. Field research through interviews with nine teachers was conducted, six Educationalists teachers, an art professor, an English and physical education teacher. The results indicated that most of these teachers mediates learning through playfulness that children have better learning when the pedagogical work occurs through play, and feel more motivated to attend school. Participants have the idea that playfulness is the play and the play and say the school should value the playful, and need support from the school staff and the community. In conclusion, the playful should be part of everyday school life and more than a teaching strategy, should be valued in the integral formation of the individual

Since around 1723, on the occasion of its initial colonization by Europeans, Rondonia has received successive waves of immigrants. This has been further swelled by individuals from northeastern Brazil, who began entering at the beginning of the twentieth century. The ethnic composition varies across the state according to the various sites of settlement of each wave of immigrants. We analyzed the frequency of the CCR5 Delta 32 allele of the CCR5 chemokine receptor, which is considered a Caucasian marker, in five sample sets from the population. Four were collected in Porto Velho, the state capital and the site of several waves of migration. Of these, two, from the Hospital de Base were comprised of HB Mothers and HB Newborns presenting allele frequencies of 3.5% and 3.1%, respectively, a third from the peri-urban neighborhoods of Candelaria/Bate-Estaca (1.8%), whereas a fourth, from the Research Center on Tropical Medicine/CEPEM (0.6%), was composed of malaria patients under treament. The fifth sample (3.4%) came from the inland Quilombola village of Pedras Negras. Two homozygous individuals (CCR5 Delta 32/CCR5 Delta 32) were detected among the HB Mother samples. The frequency of this allele was heterogeneous and higher where the European inflow was more pronounced. The presence of the allele in Pedras Negras revealed European miscegenation in a community largely comprising Quilombolas.

Resultado de levantamento exaustivo - que localizou 71 estudos - das teses e das dissertações produzidas no Brasil, entre 1993 e 2007, sobre as diferenças de desempenho escolar entre os sexos, este artigo enfoca 21 trabalhos cujos achados nos pareceram mais relevantes. São pesquisas predominantemente qualitativas e que abordam, principalmente, as séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental de escolas públicas em diferentes regiões do País, tanto em áreas urbanas como rurais. Permitem afirmar alguma homogeneidade na cultura escolar, em especial nessas séries, no que tange às opiniões das professoras, reafirmando diferenças de comportamento entre meninos e meninas e atribuindo essas diferenças à socialização familiar. São escassas as pesquisas que incorporam as falas das crianças e escassos os estudos sobre as camadas médias. Do ponto de vista teórico, poucas pesquisas articulam o gênero a outros determinantes sociais e raras demonstram uma apreensão complexa das relações de gênero no campo simbólico, para além da interação homem- mulher.

OBJETIVO: Identificar se existe correlação entre ruído ambiental no interior da sala de aula, intensidade da voz e presença de alteração vocal em professores. MÉTODOS: Foi realizada medição do ruído ambiental em dez salas de escolas municipais de ensino fundamental. A intensidade das vozes das professoras foi medida durante atividade de ensino. Amostras de vogal prolongada [é] e contagem de 1 a 20 emitidas pelas professoras foram analisadas utilizando escala GRBASI. Os resultados obtidos foram correlacionados. RESULTADOS: A média de ruído ambiental sem a presença das crianças em sala de aula variou de 40 a 51 dB(A) e com a presença das crianças de 45 a 65 dB(A). Entre as professoras, houve 70% de ocorrência de vozes alteradas no grau geral (G) e 90% com tensão na voz (S), variando entre graus discreto e moderado. Constatou-se variação entre 52 dB(A) e 68 dB(A) na intensidade da voz das professoras, atingindo 7,48 dB(A) acima do nível do ruído ambiental. Houve correlação entre a intensidade vocal das professoras e ruído ambiental na presença das crianças durante a aula. CONCLUSÃO: Os níveis de ruído ambiental em sala de aula são altos e se correlacionam com o aumento da intensidade das vozes das professoras. Embora com alta ocorrência de vozes alteradas, não é possível correlacioná-las com o nível de ruído ambiental.

Este trabajo analiza la danza del candombe montevideano con el objetivo de reconstruir un tipo de reflexividad que opera en el contexto de una perfomance festiva, caracterizada por situarse en un espacio-tiempo intermedio entre ritual y espectáculo y en donde lo corporal juega un rol principal. Con el término reflexividad corporizada se intenta caracterizar un tipo de reflexión transformadora de las subjetividades que no se da únicamente en la conciencia, sino en un sujeto “total”. A partir de un cruce entre la fenomenología y un análisis más estructural de las representaciones instituidas sobre las mujeres negras uruguayas, buscamos comprender la rearticulación significante en las prácticas y discursos, principalmente en la reformulación que la performance posibilita. Como acontecimiento liminar, que permite una apertura senso-perceptiva, la danza del candombe produce transformaciones subjetivas en los participantes, fundamentalmente porque estas experiencias involucran la participación corporal y un peculiar tipo de reflexividad que es corporizada.

Se realizó un seguimiento de la maduración de kiwis (Actinidia celiciosa (A. Chev.) Liang et Ferguson cv. Hayward) en una plantación comercial del sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina), con la finalidad de definir índices de madurez y calidad y compararlos con los estándares vigentes en Nueva Zelanda y Chile. A intervalo semanal, desde las 13 semanas después de plena floración, se tomaron muestras de frutos para evaluar las siguientes variables: peso fresco, volumen, porcentaje de semillas negras, contenido de materia seca, acidez titulable y pH. De acuerdo con los mismos, el valor mínimo de sólidos solubles y el porcentaje de semillas negras exigido se alcanzaron durante la semana 21 después de plena floración y la firmeza de pulpa presentaba aún valores superiores al umbral recomendado. El momento óptimo de cosecha correspondió a plena temporada. Los resultados sugieren que la acidez titulable podría constituir otro índice de madurez. El porcentaje de materia seca no sería útil en fruta de plena temporada dado que los incrementos significativos se registran tempranamente. Sin embargo, puede ser útil como índice de calidad. Se plantea la posibilidad de utilizar la relación MS/AT como índice de calidad y de cosecha.

Los frutos climatéricos, como el kiwi, deben cosecharse una vez que alcanzan la madurez fisiológica, a fin de no comprometer su calidad gustativa. El propósito del presente trabajo fue determinar la instancia del desarrollo cuando los frutos del cv. 'Hayward' alcanzaron la madurez fisiológica, mediante la medición de índices de madurez objetivos. Para tal fin, un lote comercial de kiwi cv 'Hayward' situado en el sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina) s e c o s e c h ó s e m a n a l m e n t e d e s d e l a s 11 semanas después de plena floración (sdpf) hasta la cosecha comercial, a las 18 sdpf. La fruta fue analizada a la cosecha y después de un período de almacenamiento (53 días a 2°C) y maduración (7 días a 20°C). A cosecha, el contenido de materia seca de la fruta, la firmeza de la pulpa y la acidez titulable del jugo no sufrieron cambios significativos a partir de las 16 sdpf. Al final del período de almacenamiento y maduración, los sólidos solubles y la acidez titulable, así como la pérdida de peso de los frutos, no variaron significativamente en frutos cosechados a partir de las 16 sdpf. Estos resultados sugieren que la madurez fisiológica se alcanzó dos semanas antes de la cosecha comercial. Con mayores exigencias protocolares de contenido de materia seca, la madurez comercial se habría logrado recién a las 18 sdpf. A madurez fisiológica, los índices de madurez registraron los siguientes valores: 5,4% sólidos solubles, 1,18% acidez titulable, 14,2% materia seca y 49% semillas negras.

This research aimed to recognize similarities and differences in the configuration of cases of teachers of Physical Education characterized by dereliction of teaching. This study tried to understand how members of the school community, especially managers, see (if they do) the teaching practices of two teachers with similar teaching propositions in the classroom, but with a different engagement with the institution.The text was constructed based on two case studies developed in 2010 in public schools in counties of northeastern states of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected based on semi-structured interviews and field diaries.The results indicate that the neglect of teaching is perceived by members of the school community only when the teacher rejects any proposition in class and does not respond to other needs of the school, and his action is not acknowledged. The teacher is not guided by the contents of the higher education of the school discipline, and still does not change the school routines and minimally contemplates the tradition. The knowledge addressed (or not) in Physical Education classes is invisible to the eyes of school administrators

Las concentraciones migratorias y postnupciales de cigüeña negra han sido objeto de estudio en 22 localidades de las provincias de Ciudad Real, Cáceres y Badajoz (centro y oeste de España). Entre 2003 y 2006 se visitaron periódicamente distintos tipos de humedales con presencia habitual de la especie durante los pasos migratorios, desde el 21 de julio hasta el 10 de octubre. En 174 de las 339 visitas realizadas se detectó la presencia de cigüeña negra. El número promedio registrado de ejemplares por bando resultó de 11,3 ejemplares. Las fechas en que se contabilizaron más individuos, tanto en valores absolutos como relativos, correspondieron al período del 11 al 20 de septiembre. La mayor parte de los ejemplares datados (69,1%) resultaron adultos (plumaje de más de 3 años de edad), seguidos por jóvenes del año (20,2%) e inmaduros-subadultos (10,6%, 2-3 años de edad). A lo largo de todo el período migratorio se mantuvo constante la proporción de edades, salvo en el mes de octubre, cuando se incrementó la presencia aves juveniles. Durante las horas centrales del día se registró el mayor número relativo de aves sedimentadas en los humedales estudiados. Entre las 13:00 h y las 16:00 h (GMT + 2h) se censó el 62,7% de las cigüeñas negras presentes. Alrededor de la mitad de los individuos (52,5%) emplearon las áreas de concentración estudiadas para descansar y sestear.

Los fármacos en el agua han sido considerados en los últimos años un problema medioambiental grave, y se ha incrementado el interés por los efectos que pueden producirse en el medio acuático. Aunado a este problema se encuentra el consumo excesivo de medicamentos no controlados, los cuales pueden ser desechados sin tener el tratamiento adecuado; por lo que se ingresan a los cursos de agua. Estos contaminantes emergentes son compuestos cuyo vertido supone un problema sanitario y ambiental. Se trata de contaminantes solubles en agua por lo que son capaces de estar presentes en todas las etapas del ciclo del agua. Han sido numerosos estudios los que se han realizado en diferentes países, ya que su presencia se ha convertido en un tema emergente en la química del medio ambiente, debido a que en las investigaciones realizadas muestran que no hay una eliminación completa a pesar de los distintos procesos que se aplican en las plantas de tratamiento de aguas residuales. Esta contaminación, incrementa la necesidad de conocer cuál es el efecto toxicológico sobre los organismos acuáticos y, en consecuencia, en las personas. La bacteria Escherichia Coli, es un organismo muy estudiado, debido a que se encuentra en los intestinos de los animales y humanos y por lo consiguiente en las aguas negras. Teniendo en cuenta la crítica situación, se planteó estudiar el efecto sobre la bacteria E. coli de 4 fármacos: Atenolol, Azitromicina, Estradiol e Ibuprofeno, para conocer cual era su comportamiento y el efecto que podían producir la presencia de los fármacos en la eliminación por procesos de oxidación. Así también, los efectos producidos sobre E. Coli, después de estar en contacto con los fármacos 1, 3 y 7 días. Se observó que los fármacos tienen efectos en el aumento o eliminación de los microrganismos dependiendo de los tiempos de exposición y la concentración del fármaco. Así mismo se observó que los microorganismos asimilan mejor las concentraciones menores de fármacos, a tiempos de contacto mayores de 24 horas. Con todos los desinfectantes de estudio se observaron ligeras resistencias de la bacteria ante la presencia de los fármacos. Drugs in water have been considered in recent years a serious environmental problem, and has increased interest in the effects that may occur in the aquatic environment. Added to this problem is the excessive consumption of non-controlled drugs, which can be disposed of without proper treatment, so they enter waterways. These are compounds emerging contaminants being discharged is a health and environmental problem. It is water soluble contaminants and are therefore able to be present in all stages of the water cycle. There have been numerous studies conducted in different countries, since their presence has become an emerging issue in environmental chemistry, because in the research shows that there isn’t a removal despite the different processes used in wastewater treatment plants. This contamination, increases the need to know what is the toxicological effects on aquatic organisms and, consequently, in people. The bacterium Escherichia coli, is a well-studied organism because it is found in the intestines of animals and humans and is therefore in the wastewater. Given the critical situation, was proposed to study the effect on the bacterium E. coli of 4 drugs: Atenolol, Azithromycin, Estradiol and Ibuprofen, to know what his behavior and the effect it could produce the presence of drugs in the removal by oxidation processes. Also, the effects on E. Coli, after being in contact with the drug 1, 3 and 7 days. It was noted that the drugs have effects on the growth or elimination of microorganisms depending on exposure time and the drug concentration. Also it was observed that the microorganisms assimilate lower concentrations of drug better over 24 hours. With all disinfectants study were observed resistances of the bacteria in the presence of the drugs.
