Disseny d’una xarxa de distribució d’alta tensió de tercera categoria de 25 kV subterrània, a partir d’ara mitja tensió (MT), amb deu centres de transformació i distribució de 1000 kVA cadascun. La reforma d’un centre de transformació i distribució de 630 kVA i el disseny de la xarxa de baixa tensió. Amb la finalitat de donar subministrament d’energia elèctrica a les industries d’un polígon del terme municipal de Torroella de Montgrí (GIRONA) i obtenir l’autorització administrativa per la posterior posada en servei d’aquesta instal•lació.No queda inclòs en aquest projecte la instal•lació d’enllumenat públic

Troubles gastro-intestinaux et activités sportives [Lower intestinal distress during sports activities].

This article reviews the literature regarding gastrointestinal disturbances in particular in runners. The lower intestinal problems of motility and blood loss are discussed. These problems are directly related to running. These symptoms, especially diarrhea are common and can impact adversely both performance and the health of the athlete. Most cases are relatively benign. The sport medicine clinician should be familiar with the management of these problems in order to optimize the treatment and facilitate return to sport.

Nursing Activities Score (NAS) como instrumento para medir carga de trabalho de enfermagem em UTI adulto

Pesquisa de campo, prospectiva, quantitativa, descritiva-exploratória, realizada na UTI geral/adulto de um hospital privado do município de São Paulo. Objetivos: avaliar o NAS - Nursing Activities Score - como medida de carga de trabalho de enfermagem; sua aplicabilidade por turnos e sua correspondência com o quantitativo de enfermagem efetivo. Classificados 33 pacientes: idade média: 70,4 anos (+/-16,5), 66,7% do sexo masculino; permanência média na UTI: 17 dias (+/- 20,4); SAPSII: 41,7 (+/-17,9); risco de morte: (RM) 33,5% (+/- 26,8); 63,6% transferidos para Unidades de Cuidados Semi-Intensivos, 18,2% evoluíram a óbito. Obtiveram-se 396 medidas por turnos (134-manhã; 132-tarde; 130-noturno), média de 55,4 (+/-12,3) e 147 medidas de NAS de 24h, média de 69,6 (+/-18,2). O instrumento mostrou-se mais adequado à aplicação em 24 horas que por turnos, tendendo a refletir o número de profissionais efetivo, revelando-se interessante instrumento de classificação de pacientes e carga de trabalho de enfermagem em terapia intensiva.

Projecte de construcció i instal·lacions d'una nau industrial

Aquest és un document composat per dos projectes independents. La partprincipal del document, un projecte de construcció d’una nau industrial iuna altra part secundària que és un projecte d’instal•lacions de la nauindustrial objecte del projecte de construcció.En el projecte de construcció s’estudia la construcció d’una edificacióindustrial destinada a la recuperació de palets de fusta. En el projecte deconstrucció es dissenya a partir de les característiques del terreny, lesnecessitats del client i els requeriments de l’activitat, una nau industriald’estructura mixta de formigó. Una part de l’estructura està formada perelements estructurals prefabricats per una empresa externa mentre, qued’altres elements estructurals, com és el cas de les sabates de fonamentació,es fabriquen a l’obra

Projecte d’ampliació i acondicionament d’una nau industrial destinada a processos metal•lúrgics

El present projecte pretèn ampliar i condicionar una nau industrial existent, destinada aprocessos metal•lúrgics, propietat de l’empresa Muntatges Industrials Palafolls, SCP.L’establiment es troba situat al polígon Industrial de Can Baltasar, en el municipi de Palafolls.Per tal de dur a terme aquestes modificacions, s’enderrocaran els departaments existents i esdimensionaran en una nova ubicació dintre del recinte de l’establiment. Es dimensionarà unanova estructura per a sustentar un pont grua de 10 tn, situada a l’interior de la nau.A més a més, es dimensionaran les instal•lacions elèctriques i contra incendis de l’establiment.El projecte contindrà tota la documentació necessària per a dur a terme l’ampliació iremodelació de la nau industrial i la instal•lació del pont grua.

Financial constraints and the failure of innovation projects

Theoretical and empirical approaches have stressed the existence of financial constraints in innovative activities of firms. This paper analyses the role of financial obstacles on the likelihood of abandoning an innovation project. Although a large number of innovation projects are abandoned before their completion, the empirical evidence has focused on the determinants of innovation while failed projects have received little attention. Our analysis differentiates between internal and external barriers on the probability of abandoning a project and we examine whether the effects are different depending on the stage of the innovation process. In the empirical analysis carried out for a panel data of potential innovative Spanish firms for the period 2004-2010, we use a bivariate probit model to take into account the simultaneity of financial constraints and the decision to abandon an innovation project. Our results show that financial constraints most affect the probability of abandoning an innovation project during the concept stage and that low-technological manufacturing and non-KIS service sectors are more sensitive to financial constraints. Innovation and firm growth: Does firm age play a role?

This paper explores the relationship between firm growth, innovation and firm age. We hypothesize that young firms undertake riskier innovation activities and are more oriented towards employment growth than towards harvesting returns in the form of sales growth. Using an extensive sample of Community Innovation Survey for the period 2004-2010, we apply quantile regressions and a Heckman sample selection technique to study the impact of R&D activities on firm growth according to firm age. Our results show that R&D intensity is positively associated with firm growth. However, for young firms R&D shows an increasing influence across the quantiles, while for old firms R&D shows a stable or perhaps decreasing effect over the quantiles. Firm age shows a significant negative impact among young firms, while for the sample of old firms the impact of firm age becomes non-significant. Our Heckman estimations show the evolution of the impact of the R&D on firm growth confirming a significant impact on sales and productivity growth, while the impact is negligible for employment growth.
