Mediação como base de estratégias pedagógicas voltadas a alunos com deficiência mental severa: indicadores para a prática docente

The paper talks about the education of persons with disabilities severe mental retardation based on the idea of Reuven Feuerstein mediation. The collected data were analysed mainly under the focus quantitative, allowing extraction of details of everyday life investigated. Aims to describe and analyze the implementation process their educational, focusing on teaching strategies used by Special Education teachers in the Araraquara’s city. In addition, seeks to address the educational process of a population slightly investigated by uniting two strands of thread in an innovative way: the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and Reuven Feuerstein education of students with severe cognitive impairment. The methodology initiated by the establishment of the teacher’s profile, their mapping and location. Data collection was achieved through three instruments: interviews with teachers, observation protocol and field diary for registration. Our results describe the work of a teacher, showing their practice, and enlist the pedagogical strategies used, mainly those related to the criteria medication. According to the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and the idea of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE), the teacher acts as mediator, interposing themselves between stimuli the environment and the student. Medicalização em um serviço público de Saúde Mental: um estudo sobre a prescrição de psicofármacos

News of the fifth version of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) bringing an enlarged listing of diagnostic possibilities has fomented discussion concerning the tendency, recognizable in contemporary psychiatric practices, of including ordinary suffering of everyday life in psychiatric diagnosis and submit same to psychopharmacological treatment. The present paper brings to this discussion data obtained from field research about the prescription of psychopharmacs in the psychiatric care of a public mental health service. The results reveal that the psychiatry of the service keeps practically all of its users under prescription, and that medical discharge is extremely rare. The paper organizes elements critical to this practice and concludes that due to its inadequacy as to the objectives of promotion of personalized care concerned with autonomy and citizenship, present in the current national guidelines for public policies in mental health.

Brinquedoteca móvel: o brincar interativo na hospitalização infantil

The hospitalization process can cause significant changes in the children’s everyday life because, besides the suffering caused by the disease, there are the invasive processes which bring them sorrow. Thus, aiming to make this state of sorrow lower and to contribute for the treatment process we developed in a hospital the Mobile Toy Library project which develops interactive activities through playing, trying to make the staying of these kids at the hospital easier. The team is formed by Psychology professors and students, who daily visit the children with a trolley full of toys in order to interact and play with them. We wait on 500 patients a year. We concluded the Mobile Toy Library provides ways for kids to elaborate their psychological conflicts, lowering their sorrow as well as their negative feelings of staying in hospital, and this helps them deal with the disease, family and medical team all together.

This paper deals with characteristically anti-authoritarian aspects of Antônio Carlos de Brito’s work, alias Cacaso (1944-1987). It aims to provide evidence on his peculiar poetry writing exercise, which incorporates political and aesthetic tensions into its own language, rather than just refer to them. By anchoring in a poetics of everyday life and by being engaged in a dialogue with Brazilian literary tradition, Cacaso manages image, tone and emotion in order to instantly illuminate the impasses of his generation.

O lúdico no desenvolvimento infantil: um estudo teórico

It is a fact that childhood is a period of play and it is through them that the child meets their interests, express their way to organize, disorganize, build, think, making new discoveries. Therefore, the playful stands as one of the most important and effective in children's learning process forms, as it enables the development of imagination, feelings and fantasies, helping the child progress in their motor, psychomotor, cognitive, and physical skills emotional. This gives her the exercise of attention and memory to play activities adults engage, thus expanding their knowledge about the world. The teacher's role in this process is essential, where it can bring to everyday life of the child in various situations themes, turning the simple play on continuous learning and not just using the play as a complementary activity to the child because they provide pleasure and relaxation which do interact with the new learning and the group operates. The psychology emphasizes that play is essential to the balanced development of the psychosocial human being, because when in childhood, the relationship with the toy and gaming in general develops affectivity, creativity, and reasoning ability. Playing, the child increases their independence by building their knowledge. The aim of this work is to make a theoretical study based on a literature search, aiming to understand the play within the child development process, where it is recognized as very important in a child's learning starting from the theoretical conceptions of thinkers such as Piaget, Vygotsky, Wallon among others. With this, it can also be possible to recover the importance of the play that is being extracted from the infant universe due to new reasons to experience the modern world brings, as the excess number of activities assigned to the child, electronic games, etc. Finally, a playful approach to provide a reflection for parents and educators, bringing children's learning...

Influência da violência no esporte sobre espectadores de MMA: análise de percepções e comportamentos

Modern society lives daily with groups of human beings who have high rates of aggression and violence. Scholars in the field point to the influence of certain environmental condition for the development of aggressive behavior. Among such circumstances, we can quote various aspects including the influence of media, and more specifically, the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). The MMA is now one of the world's most popular sport, having international visibility through your largest organization, the UFC® (Ultimate Fighting Championship). The sport's global coverage is surely source of influence for our children and adolescents, who without the correct direction, can take the scenes seen in the sport as common facts of everyday life, making aggression and violence acceptable behaviors in their lives. Many studies show behavioral changes related to violent practices in virtue of exposure of individuals to aggression scenes by media. Works provide some interesting theoretical models to explain the observational learning. Under such aspects, the determined reality brings a need for in-depth studies on the subject addressed, looking for a better understanding of relations between the sport's violence and your influences on social behavior of individuals in this context, and then, look for possible solutions to deal with the problem pre supposed

El desarrollo tecnológico en la vida cotidiana: influencias sociales comprendidas por universitarios brasileños

This paper, trying to understand how society influences technological development in daily life, developed a theoretical model, translated into a Likert scale, to be applicable to Brazilians undergraduate students from Sao Paulo. The social indicators that are presented in this scale were generated from content analysis in the process of construction and presentation of qualitative results which are the goals of this article. So it is possible to point out that the sample of undergraduates students surveyed points to the government, educational and research institutions, companies and citizens, as the main social actors strictly responsible for technology choices. The result allows brief reflections on the social influence on technology choices in daily life.

Transpondo o abismo: a construção de perfis de cientistas

From the dyagnosis that science has become apart from mainstream culture and everyday life, we discuss in this article the representation of characters and actions which are part of science-making in three profiles published by piauí magazine: “Entre ratos”, by Raquel Freire Zangrandi, “Artur tem um problema”, by João Moreira Salles, and “Com a mão na massa (cerebral)”, by Dorrit Harazim. In constrast, we also analyze the profiles presented in the book Gigantes da ciência, by Philipe Cane, and the series Os cientistas, published by Abril. From this we may consider that the group of texts published by piaui, which are structured according to literary journalism techniques, bring the reader closer to the making of science and the profiled characters, although they still narrate too little of their private lives.

The paper studies the mobilization occurred in June 2013 in Brazil, initially under the banner of the Movement Free Pass, but without the existence of a lead, but multiple voices that alternate in search of social and economic change. The object of study is the communication made through social networks and their realization, or realization, the streets of major cities. The rallies demonstrate the power of communications media and a new phenomenon of talk, the use of social networks, now as uniting factor and not just a showcase of everyday life.
