Aplicação de técnicas eletroforéticas em amostras de musculos de aves de interesse comercial e de Tilápias (Oreochromis niloticus)

Junto ao Laboratório de Fracionamento de Proteínas, desenvolveu atividades aplicando técnicas eletroforéticas (gel de agarose, eletroforese nativa em gel de poliacrilamida) em amostras de músculos de aves de interesse comercial (frangos, perus e avestruzes), tendo como co-orientador o Prof. Paulo Tadeu Figueira da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária, PUC/PR - Toledo, onde desenvolveu atividades de análise de géis de eletroforese. Aplicou as técnicas de eletroforeses citadas em amostras de músculos e soro sanguíneo (em andamento) de tilápias (Oreochromis niloticus), bem como desenvolveu atividades de análises computacionais (VDS – PHARMACIA) e estatísticas (ASSISTAT) nos dados obtidos, resultando na participação em 7 congressos com apresentação de trabalhos. Cursou a disciplina de Genética, como aluno especial, junto à turma de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas, num total de 8 créditos, sendo aprovado com média 7,2

Proposta de restauração de mata ciliar utilizando técnicas de nucleação no município de Regente Feijó

This monograph, presented in order to obtain the title of Environmental Engineer, proposes the use of nucleation techniques for the restoration of permanent preservation areas formed by three springs that contribute to the formation of Santo Anastacio river, city of Regent Feijo – São Paulo. Through Mine Water Project, landowners are encouraged to restore and conserve springs that contribute to the public water supply, being paid through the fees for environmental services. Once the simulation of this payment was reached at R$ 630.00 per year. Nucleation techniques will be proposed in order to facilitate the ecological succession, through techniques known as transposition of the soil, transposition of the branches, artificial perches and planting in groups of Anderson, totaling 81 cores covering an area of 208.3 m2 which corresponds to 1.9% of the total area to be restored. Made the survey of forest fragments in the watershed, it was found that only 12.39% of the total area has remnant vegetation

O número de técnicos e técnicas que comandam equipes masculinas e femininas

It is known that gymnastics and sports, for the most part, were made by men for men, and its practice was almost exclusively for males, especially until the First World War. Vestiges of this strong male influence in sports still remain to this day, especially in leadership positions. It is clear that most sports, both male and female, are mostly coached by men. Thus, this study aimed to examine, through quantiqualitative research, the number of women and men who lead male and female volleyball, basketball and soccer elite teams, participating in the most important national championships, and the number of men and women graduated in physical education courses in Brazil in order to check a possible relationship between the low number of women working as a coach and the percentage of women graduated in physical education. For the acquisition of data, Internet searches were made on the sites of confederations, leagues and sports leagues selected for the study, and on the site of the National Institute of Educational Studies Anísio Teixeira (INEP). It was identified that the total number of graduates from 1995 to 2008 was 192,707, with 99,869 men and 92,838 women, showing a balance between these numbers, which did not happen with the numbers of male and female coaches. The data indicated that no women worked as a coach in male and female volleyball teams in the seasons 2006 to 2010, no woman worked as a coach in the male basketball teams in the seasons from 2000 to 2010, and only an average of 1.67 women led female basketball teams in the seasons 1998 to 2010, and no woman has ever worked as a coach for male soccer teams, while only an average of 2.67 women acted as a coach of female soccer teams. Gestão de resíduos sólidos domiciliares orgânicos: práticas e técnicas para a destinação final na cidade de Rio Claro - SP

The present work is the analysis of the practices and techniques currently used in the final allocation given to organic household solid waste in the city of Rio Claro - SP. As the major part of Rio Claro’s household solid waste is formed by the organic fraction, as well as in the rest of the country, this research proposes a study on what is done with that portion of the waste, its treatment and where finally destined, based on the National Solid Waste Politic, recently approved in 2010. With the use of this organic part, for example: as animal feed supplement or compost embodiment for the purpose of producing organic fertilizer, enables the decrease of the percentage of the total destined to dumps and landfills. This total percentage has already been reduced after the popularization of the beneficial recycling programs in Brazil, which are still growing. As cities and the purchasing power of its individuals grow, there is also a consequent growth of waste production by society. The household whether domestic solid waste are lower than Industrial Solid ( RSI ) waste for the production in million tons ( Mton ) quantities , however, those residues are more visible on a daily basis - in cities and periphery as well, due to the inadequate management, - and also offer , as well as industrial and agricultural wastes , several types of harmful effects to the population when managed incorrectly. Therefore, the research aims to assist in the study of Solid Waste Management (MSW) for efficient Urban and Environmental Planning in a midsize city. Thus, this project aims to analyze in the city of Rio Claro, how the allocation of these materials is done and whether these practices denote effective improvement regarding the proper management of waste, in the same way that the recycling chain would allow this effect

Análise das alterações temporais dos fragmentos de vegetação no centro experimental do Instituto Agronômico, Campinas, utilizando técnicas de sensoriamento remoto e geoprocessamento

O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal realizar um levantamento temporal das áreas de vegetação no Centro Experimental de Campinas (CEC), uma fazenda de propriedade do Instituto Agronômico (IAC), a partir de técnicas de geoprocessamento e fotointerpretação. O local de estudo situa-se no município de Campinas - SP, e a área em questão foi escolhida por estar situada dentro de uma propriedade do estado e por apresentar uma grande mudança histórica no que diz respeito à vegetação. Também por que, apesar de ser um centro de experimentação agrícola, esse estudo demonstrara como num intervalo de quarenta anos a consciência ecológica muda radicalmente dentro do Centro. Para a realização deste trabalho, foram utilizadas fotografias aéreas digitais da fazenda dos vôos referentes aos anos de 1964, 1972 e 2002, todas de propriedade do acervo do Laboratório de Geoprocessamento do Centro de Conservação dos Solos do IAC. Alem da foto de satélite da fazenda obtida no software Google Earth, com data de 2006. Analisando imagens e mapas, observou-se como a área vegetada aumentou no Centro Experimental de Campinas nesse intervalo de quarenta e dois anos, passando de 7,55% (52.383 ha) em 1964 para 34,13% (236,497 ha) da área total do centro em 2006. Também pode-se ver que hoje há uma preocupação muito grande com a manutenção e conservação dessas matas.
