This article deals with the working situation of disabled people in our conext and expose the methodological characteristics or research about this issue. Next, an investigation on working integration processes of disabled people in an ordinary environment is analized. The objective of this analysis is to assess the potencial of qualitative case study method for research aimed at improving educational practices in general and at the studying the working integration of disabled people

La búsqueda de factores protectores del fracaso escolar en niños en situación de riesgo mediante un estudio de casos

The aim of this article is to introduce one of the approaches of research that we consider may contribute to find useful knowledge for prevention of school failure. This approach is in some studies called the study of risk and resilience. The word resilience refers to the capacity of individuals to endure adverse events in their vital experience, without long-term negative or disrupting consequences in their development or socialisation. We present a review of studies that have been carried out with this approach. Then it will be exemplified with a research that intended to identify protective factors of the risk of school failure in at risk adolescents. By means of a qualitative case study approach, this research has allowed us to approach some personal, educational and social factors that seem to have a certain relevance as protective factors of the risk of school failure

The several transition processes happening throughout lije are periods of constant adaptations. Each transition process requires making decisions affecting in greater or a lesser degree all the aspects of the persono The vital course development embraces different transition realms. In this paper, we pay particular attention to the academic and occupational itineraries. The academic transitions have to facilitate the curriculum continuity between cycles or academic stages and the adaptation to new levels. In the professional world, two essential transitions arestanding out: socio-professional insertion and retirement. To those one should add occupational transitions - voluntary or not -, which are nowadays increasingly present in the labour market. In each of these processes, a guiding intervention is needed providing strategies for personal development and at the same time generating social integration

Tan cerca, tan lejos: Aldo Rossi y el Grupo 2C. Arquitectura, ideología y disidencias en la Barcelona de los 70 = So close, so far : Aldo Rossi and the 2C Group. Architecture, ideology and dissents in the Barcelona of the 70s

The Catalan reception of the 1966 manifestos by Robert Venturi and Aldo Rossi marks the scenario of a breakup: while North America debates about the architectural shape as a linguistic structure, Italy dips its roots in the Modern Movement tradition as an origin for a new temporal and ideological architectural dimension. The first contacts between Rossi and Spain verify this search and allow the Italian to construct common itineraries with some architects from Barcelona. From these exchanges the 2C group will be born, taking part on typical vanguardist mechanisms: they will publish the magazine, 2C. The construction of the city (1972-1985), they will attend the XV Triennale di Milano in 1973 with the Torres Clavé Plan (1971) and the Aldo Rossi + 21 Spanish architects exhibition (1975) while he will organize the three issues of the Seminarios Internacionales de Arquitectura Contemporánea (S.I.AC.) which took place in Santiago, Sevilla and Barcelona between 1976 and 1980. In front of the unfolding of the firsts, the American contacts of Federico Correa, Oriol Bohigas, Lluís Domènech and the PER studio or the teaching work of Rafael Moneo from Barcelona since 1971, allow to draw replica itineraries with the foundation of the magazine Arquitecturas Bis (1974-1985), the organization of the meetings between international publications such as Lotus and Oppositions in Cadaqués (1975) and New York (1977), while stablishing exchanges with members of the Five Architects. Replicas that in 1976 conduct the initial ideological affirmations between Rossi and the 2C group towards irreconcilable distancing. Verifying the itinerary of the journey that the Italian leads from the Italian resistance towards the American backing down is part of the aim of this article

In this paper a brief outline of the origin and development of vocational guidance and career development during the 20thcentury is presented We elaborate a summary of the changes society has suffered during the last decades, and which affect career counselling either directly or indirectly, and which imply a need for modifications in the current approach to career counselling. Subsequently, we propose new perspectives that will be needed to face these changes, and which have been suggested by different authors. Also some competencies needed by career counselors while acting at different levels of intervention are suggested

Afrontamiento de situaciones de hostilidad y desempeño de la función directiva. Planteamientos y reflexiones a raíz de una actividad de formación permanente de directivos de centros educativos de titularidad pública

The intervention in the organized conflicts and, particularly, the confrontation of hostile situations (based on the emotional alteration, the strain, the verbal aggressiveness, etc) is one of the aspects that worry the principals of the educative centres and, therefore, a main attention must be given to the initial and permanent training to have managing duties. Throughout the text we take some aspects into account in the development of these managing skills:a) we set the distinctive features; b) we answer to the dilemma about the existence of improvement possibilities; c) we state the need to star from the motivation and the active participation of the principals in their own personal development and, finally, d) we contribute with the design of a training activity to develop skills to confront hostile situations, addressed to the principals of primary and secondary schools, that was done in Girona, in November 2005

Lyra Viol “Instrument de música domèstica”

El propòsit d'aquest treball és donar a conèixer la lyra viol i la seva música. Entre d'altres maneres de tocar aquest instrument, mostrar com aquest servia per acompanyar la veu, així com arranjar peces polifòniques tal i com trobem en publicacions de l'època. I serà a partir d'aquests exemples, que he fet els meus propis arranjaments per a viola de gamba i que incloc en aquest treball.

Patrimonio cultural y turismo: nuevos modelos de promoción vía Internet

Desde Estambul a Barcelona, de Almería a Niza, de Venecia a Túnez, de Atenas a Alejandría, de la India a la China, el mundo ofrece una actividad cultural rica y muy variada. Los turistas que lo recorren desean impregnarse de ella. Parece como si el sector turístico no haya sido capaz de organizarse y desarrollar un proyecto común de turismo cultural que hermane todas estas posibilidades. Quizá en un futuro, con el uso de las nuevas tecnologías se puedan proponer viajes virtuales por el patrimonio cultural del mediterráneo como preámbulo y estimulo de posibles viajes reales

Paseos por Rosario de Santa Fe: Los informes de Adolfo Posada de 1925, leídos por los catalanes

Una de las publicaciones catalanas más desconocidas ha sido la Revista Comercial Ibero-Americana Mercurio de Barcelona, fundada en la ciudad condal en diciembre de 1901, y gestora del impulso americanista catalán hasta la actualidad. En su seno se conformó un importante grupo de americanistas catalanes que el 11 de abril de 1911 inauguraron la Casa de América de Barcelona. Esta entidad catalana tuvo un gran desarrollo hasta la Guerra Civil española. En todos esos años se dedicó a generar e impulsar diversos proyectos internacionales vinculados estrechamente a los países latinoamericanos. Pero es importante señalar que dicha entidad fue un interesante desprendimiento de la original Revista Comercial Ibero-Americana Mercurio de Barcelona, la cual llegó a su fin en el año 1938, en plena Guerra Civil española, y en virtud del exilio que hicieron sus miembros más importantes a la República Argentina: Francesc Cambó Batlle, Rafael Vehils Grau-Bolívar y Andrés Bausili. Precisamente en esos años también visitó la República Argentina el intelectual Adolfo Posada (en origen llamado Adolfo González Posada), quien en el año 1912 dio a conocer en España su importante libro titulado La República Argentina, y que él elaboró durante la primera visita que hizo al país dos años antes, en 1910. En sus estudios sobre Argentina, sumó los informes que presentó a la revista Mercurio de Barcelona entre 1904 y 1925, momento en que hizo referencia al 'Paseo por la ciudad de Rosario' analizado en este artículo.
