Propriedades de pasta e concentração de amido resistente em duas variedades de féculas de raízes de mandioca em diferentes estágios de desenvolvimento

The objective of this work was to analyze the profiles of the concentrations of resistant starch and respective properties of paste of two cassava varieties with different development stages. For the evaluation of the profile of the concentration of resistant starch and paste properties, the starches of the cassava varieties were used IAC 576/70 and Fécula Branca, which were collected with different times of cultivation (10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 months), and the use of these times were according the crop of cassava variety IAC 576/70. For the analysis of paste property the apparel was used RVA and for analysis of resistant starch the enzymatic method was used. The results showed for the paste properties happened significant differences among the two varieties of cassava starch, and in some months they there wasn't differences, and as the results of resistant starch happened differences among the starches the months of July and August, and as for the different development stages only the starch of Fécula Branca that happened significant differences.

TV digital interativa e Internet: o caso brasileiro

Em 2003, quando da publicação do decreto nº 4.901, que institui o Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão Digital SBTVD , o panorama vislumbrado era imenso e inspirador: o que despontava era a possibilidade de se ter acesso à internet e todas as vantagens decorrentes dela em cada aparelho de TV do país. Com as discussões sobre qual sistema adotar e posteriormente com as indefinições sobre o middleware, houve tempo suficiente para a internet se afirmar como mídia essencialmente interativa, deixando, por hora, para a TV Digital a qualidade de imagem . O que vemos agora é a qualidade da imagem que alcança em banda larga a tela do computador, seduzindo ainda mais os usuários de TV. Com o Plano Nacional de Banda Larga que visa à popularização da internet de alta velocidade no Brasil, prometido pelo Governo Lula, a TV Digital pode de um lado garantir o canal de retorno necessário para a interatividade plena e, de outro lado, perder uma importante batalha para a internet, que se firmará de vez como mídia interativa.

Nível de atividade física no lazer em usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde

Although leisure physical activity has been investigated in general population, there is absence of data in Brazilian Public Health System about this issue. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze in patients attended by Public Health System the prevalence of leisure physical activity, as well as, to identify its correlates and associated diseases. Sample was composed by 963 patients (707 female and 256 male) randomly selected at five basic healthcare units. Leisure physical activity was assessed by Baecke’s questionnaire and subjects with ≥180 and ≥240 minutes per week were classified as sufficiently active. General and central obesity were assessed by body mass index and waist circumference, respectively. Diseases of high occurrence were classified according CID-10. There was low rate of physically active subjects in leisure time (14.8%),but high rate of abdominal obesity (70.1%) and orthopedic diseases (72.1%). Physically active subjects in leisure time had lower occurrence of orthopedic diseases (OR= 0.60 [OR95%CI: 0.37 – 0.98]). The same pattern of association was observed for central obesity (OR= 0.35 [OR95%CI: 0.19 – 0.65]). It is low the rate of physically active in leisure time at Brazilian Public Health System, which is associated with orthopedic diseases.

Considerações sobre a morte e o luto na psicanálise

This paper presents the basic trends by which psychoanalytical thought understands the subject of death and mourning: the melancholic identification and the death instinct. The implications of these concepts to the comprehension of death and mourning are discussed, specially showing that the death instinct, differently than a wish to die, must be understood as a traumatic potentiality to the psychic apparatus, which needs to be bound and represented. In this sense, it is argued that the narcissist personality configurations in place on post-modernity lead to violence explosion on the field of culture. One of the results of this process can be traced in the lack of psychic elaboration work of mourning and death, which demonstrate the relevance of the definition of "wide-open death" as a social representation of death nowadays.

Melanoma subungueal in situ tratado com cirurgia funcionalHamilton Ometto StolfI, Hélio Amante MiotI, Nilton de Ávila ReisIIDepartamento de Dermatologia e Radioterapia, Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp)INTRODUÇÃOO melanoma subungueal representa aproximadamente 2% a 3% dos melanomas cutâneos em pacientes caucasianos1 e 20% em pacientes negros2 ou asiáticos.3A exposição solar, tida com principal fator de risco para o melanoma cutâneo,4 parece desempenhar papel secundário no desenvolvimento da variante subungueal,5 uma vez que a radiação ultravioleta dificilmente penetra no leito ungueal. Além disso, nevos subungueais como lesões precursoras são extremamente raros.6Os polegares e háluces são os mais acometidos, sendo o polegar responsável por 56% dos casos entre todos os dedos e o hálux por 86% dos dedos dos pés.7A confirmação do diagnóstico é feita a partir do exame anatomopatológico da lesão, geralmente localizada na matriz ou leito ungueal. A verificação histológica do melanoma subungueal é frequentemente postergada por conta do atraso no diagnóstico clínico,8-10 gerando piora do prognóstico.O prognóstico geralmente é ruim: as taxas de sobrevida real de cinco anos variam entre 16% a 20%, podendo atingir até 80% se consideradas taxas de sobrevida estimada.2,3,11-18RELATO DE CASOPaciente de 44 anos, do sexo feminino, professora, com queixa de aparecimento de mancha na unha do hálux direito há cinco anos. Relata aumento progressivo lento na largura da faixa. Ao exame dermatológico, apresentava faixa de melanoníquia extensa, irregular, bordas mal definidas e estria de pigmentação mais acentuada em uma das margens do leito ungueal do hálux direito (Figura 1). Queixas técnicas e eventos adversos a medicamentos notificados em um hospital sentinela do interior de São Paulo, 2009-2010

Objective: to describe technical complaints and adverse drug events reported in a sentinel hospital in São Paulo state in 2009 and 2010. Methods: This is a descriptive study. Information was obtained from the sentinel hospital Risk Management database. Results: we found 199 reports related to drugs: 70.0% were technical complaints, 21.0% ineffective therapy and 9.0% adverse reaction to medication. The pharmacological groups with highest number of reports were: drugs that act on alimentary tract and metabolism (25.1%), the nervous system (25.1%) and anti-infective drugs for systemic use (22.1%). Conclusion: technical complaints and adverse drug events were frequent, despite recognized underreporting. The characterization of these events could inform the adoption of control measures and permanent educational actions in health services in order to prevent their occurrence.
