Delineando las funciones del sector de archivo de álbumes de una indústria fotográfica

The private for-profit institution necessarily works with a focus on continuous improvement of the results of its operations, thus ensuring the entry of assets. The archive is often consulted in order to obtain answers to questions of legal, administrative, political and diplomatic. This study aimed to delineate the organizational structure of a renowned brazilian company in the segment of photography in order to meet the tasks, activities and routines specific to the industry named “archive albums”, contextualizing it and providing elements for an effective organization of the ser-vices provided by industry. The study opted for a descriptive-exploratory method through observation of daily routines and interviews with the application of semi-structured questionnaire to industry officials and heads of departments. The results of data collection were synthesized by flow chart and a functional organizational structure that allows us to understand the activities developed by the sector.

FIPRONIL AND IMIDACLOPRID REDUCE HONEYBEE MITOCHONDRIAL ACTIVITY

Bees have a crucial role in pollination; therefore, it is important to determine the causes of their recent decline. Fipronil and imidacloprid are insecticides used worldwide to eliminate or control insect pests. Because they are broad-spectrum insecticides, they can also affect honeybees. Many researchers have studied the lethal and sublethal effects of these and other insecticides on honeybees, and some of these studies have demonstrated a correlation between the insecticides and colony collapse disorder in bees. The authors investigated the effects of fipronil and imidacloprid on the bioenergetic functioning of mitochondria isolated from the heads and thoraces of Africanized honeybees. Fipronil caused dose-dependent inhibition of adenosine 5'-diphosphate-stimulated (state 3) respiration in mitochondria energized by either pyruvate or succinate, albeit with different potentials, in thoracic mitochondria; inhibition was strongest when respiring with complex I substrate. Fipronil affected adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) production in a dose-dependent manner in both tissues and substrates, though with different sensitivities. Imidacloprid also affected state-3 respiration in both the thorax and head, being more potent in head pyruvate-energized mitochondria; it also inhibited ATP production. Fipronil and imidacloprid had no effect on mitochondrial state-4 respiration. The authors concluded that fipronil and imidacloprid are inhibitors of mitochondrial bioenergetics, resulting in depleted ATP. This action can explain the toxicity of these compounds to honeybees. Este relatório tem como função mostrar e descrever as fases de produção do trabalho de conclusão de curso de Rádio e Televisão denominado “Êxodo, a mulher no processo de partir” que aborda o mundo feminino focando na imagem da mulher vinculada pela religião católica e pelos meios de comunicação, e visando mostrar a imagem real de como elas são, o que sentem, suas dores e superações. Fazendo, desse modo, um contrapeso entre o real e o imaginário. Os produtos deste trabalho são um vídeo documentário e um livro dos quais em sua liguagem de narrativa trazem a mulher não como a problemática, mas sim a sociedade paternalista em que ela se encontra dificultando sua verdadeira manifestação, sua natureza e limitando suas perspectivas que acabam por torná-las generalizadas, marginalizadas e inferiorizadas em uma cultura machista e sexista que reflete na mídia atingindo a mulher diretamente e causando a ela sucessivas dificuldades, alardes e submissão, tal como o desgaste emocional no dia a dia que nem sempre tem explicação

The cylinder head contains the combustion chamber for the air-fuel mixture and the intake and exhaust valves, the valve guide and the valve seat. The cylinder head also is a support for the camshaft and valve rocker. The holes where the spark plugs are connected are designed to fit the better place in the combustion chamber. The cylinder heads often are manufactured using materials such as aluminum and cast iron. The cooling fins located in the outside of the cylinder head are designed for a good heat transfer and therefore their dimensions and positioning are important. This work aims the calculation for a cylinder head to be installed in a 400 cc displacement, gasoline powered, four stroke, single cylinder engine. According to the displacement it will be analyzed the combustion chamber, the intake and exhaust valves, as well as the camshaft and rocker arms. This also a work to help to accomplish the design of a single cylinder engine, where the alternatives parts, cylinder block and crankcase are all already machined and assembled in this campus

Discovery of a new antiviral protein isolated Lonomia obliqua analysed by bioinformatics and real-time approaches

This study presents a new recombinant protein that acts as a powerful antiviral (rAVLO—recombinant Antiviral protein of Lonomia obliqua). It was able to reduce the replication by 106 fold for herpes virus and by 104 fold for rubella virus. RT-PCR of viral RNA rAVLO treated infected cells also showed similar rate of inhibition in replication. The analysis of this protein by bioinformatics suggests that this protein is globular, secreted with a signal peptide and has the ability to bind to MHC class I. It was found that there are several protein binding sites with various HLA and a prevalence of α-helices in the N-terminal region (overall classified as a α/β protein type). BLAST similarity sequence search for corresponding cDNA did not reveal a similar sequence in Genbank, suggesting that it is from a novel protein family. In this study we have observed that this recombinant protein and hemolymph has a potent antiviral action. This protein was produced in a baculovirus/Sf-9 system. Therefore, these analyses suggest that this novel polypeptide is a candidate as a broad spectrum antiviral.
