Guerra e o desenvolvimento científico: uma superaula interdisciplinar e investigativa construída em torno de um experimento central

This research presents the description of the assembly, development and execution of an experiment and of an interdisciplinary and student research activity built by some undergraduates from Biological Sciences, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry PIBID subprojects of the Faculty of Science, FC - UNESP, Bauru/SP Campus. These subprojects are part of a single interdisciplinary group, which has as its main activity the Superclass, which consists of an intervention of the PIBID members during the class schedule, with an interdisciplinary and student research didactic sequence, applied by four groups of ten members, in two local State Schools. The experiment treated in this assignment was a miniature cannon (minicannon), and it was used in a Superclass that had the War and Science Development as its theme, wherein the knowledge of all areas were built from the analysis of the multiple variables involved on the cannon shots. These variables were surveyed with the students through the experiment research, during the Superclass, being focused on three of them: the shot and the explosives; the trajectory; and the target. The experiment was extremely successful, because it could instigate the students, who were interested, questioning and debaters for several times during the class. The minicannon made possible the interdisciplinary and the student research work among the four areas of science involved. Despite it has been a laborious experiment in its construction, it has proven to be innovative, and its use has transformed the students‟ ingenuous curiosity into epistemological curiosity, a key factor in the construction of scientific knowledge, wherein the dialogue established in the Superclass explored this new curiosity

A Avaliação na sala de aula de matemática: práticas e concepções

This research aims to understand the assessment practices used by teachers at a public state school in the city of Cunha, Sao Paulo. To this end, we interviewed five mathematics teachers, who answered a questionnaire with five questions. The responses were analyzed according to the rigor of phenomenological research. To understand the investigation region, that is to say, the meaning of evaluation, we proceeded to a review of studies on the subject in authors like Buriasco (2002), Pavanello (2006), Hoffmann (1994), expressive in Mathematics Education that allows us to explain the concept of prevailing interpretation in the area. The phenomenological analysis enabled the development of three categories open revealing the concept of evaluation of teachers investigated. The first shows the review As a way to measure the knowledge acquired by the student. His interpretation leads us to understand that for some teachers, the research subjects, the assessment becomes a method to ' measure ' the knowledge acquired by the student. The second category, expressed by As a way of understanding the student's behavior in class, shows that some of the interviewees understand the evaluation as a medium that reveals and appreciates the ways of the student behave in class. Finally, the third category refers to the evaluation by means of said instruments. On this subject the claim that the assessment is through instruments such that: evidence, exercise lists, among others. In summary, interviews and categories analyzed explain the ways in which the assessment reveals the concept of implicit learning the instruments used in the evaluation practices of teachers interviewed. However, the authors read, evaluation is a necessary and permanent teaching job in teaching, which must follow step by step the process of teaching and learning. It follows, ... A aprendizagem do desenho e da escrita: uma experiência com ideogramas japoneses no ensino fundamental

The aim of this paper is to gather research information and studies posted about the importance of social environment in the development of symbolic systems on children. Languages verbal, visual and written are interrelated representation systems, although each one has its own characteristics and elements. The objective of this paper is to elucidate the importance of linking the various existing types of language and therefore the importance of a coordinate approach also in the teaching-learning situations of these systems. The work also intends to disclose how thin is the line that separates writing of drawing, both of them as representative systems. As well as to show how visual information and language are intrinsically linked as thought happens by the connections between them. The work includes the report of an activity with Japanese ideograms done in the author's teacher's training at formal education. It also approaches pictographic, creative and poetic aspects of ideograms that brings up new ways of thinking and representing symbolically just like the methods of artistic language
