História das disciplinas escolares e história oral: alguns apontamentos

Este artigo resultou de trabalhos realizados no âmbito do projeto integrado de pesquisa A história da didática em instituições de formação de professores no Brasil (1827-2011) , o qual se desenvolve junto a um programa de pesquisa com o mesmo título e objetivos gerais, a saber: identificar, reunir, selecionar, sistematizar, analisar e interpretar aspectos da didática, como disciplina e campo de conhecimento em instituições de formação de professores no Brasil, entre 1827 e 2011. Trata-se de investigações inseridas no campo de investigação conhecido como história das disciplinas escolares, cujo quadro teórico-metodológico é constituído, sobretudo, segundo as formulações de Ivor Goodson e André Chervel. Para esses pesquisadores, a constituição dos saberes escolares específicos de cada disciplina, do currículo, é resultado de um complexo processo envolvendo conflitos, mediações diferentes por diversos sujeitos e instituições, diante dos papéis que, em cada época e sociedade, são atribuídos à escola. Nesse sentido, estudar a história das disciplinas, considerando o saber professoral que as embalou em cada instituição de formação de professores no Brasil, significa dar margem a aspectos de um conjunto heterogêneo de vozes e saberes que contribui para a compreensão do campo de conhecimento sobre a história da formação de professores no Brasil. Daí nossas opções metodológicas pautadas na história oral. Assim, neste artigo, nosso objetivo central é apresentar alguns apontamentos acerca das contribuições da história oral para a pesquisa em história das disciplinas escolares.

Eficiência Energética e sustentabilidade em edificações: um estudo de caso na biblioteca da UNESP de Guaratinguetá

Energy efficiency has gained significant importance in recent years, mainly due to cyclical climatic conditions and current supply of natural resources. The present work deals with the procedures and requirements necessary to evaluate a building to a level of efficiency corresponding to your project and the actual implemented. To perform this analysis, we adopted the technical regulation efficiency prepared by Procel along with other agencies of the sector. The Regulation aims to create a model for the technical evaluation of the efficiency of buildings, popularize and expand the theme specification of conditions drawn up today. The building analyzed in this study was the library of UNESP, Guaratinguetá. Still, after the completion of the final efficiency analysis, are presented proposals for intervention that can improve and enhance the present situation of the building. The interventions are based on many technical factors and local conditions of climate and supply of resource. The issue of sustainability was explained in order to serve as a tool to expand the options available to upgrade a building in front of their impact on the environment

Avaliação do potencial efeito cicatrizante gástrico e antiartrítico da mangiferina, uma xantona glicosilada da Mangifera indica

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic illness with great potential to cause comorbidities resulting from cumulative inflammatory activities, and it contributes with the increase of disabilities and death of patients. It affects 1 to 2% of world population and usually occurs between 30 and 50 years of age. Among existing therapeutic options for the disease non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) still play an important part in the treatment, being widely used by patients to relieve pain and stiffness. However, this class of drugs causes many adverse gastrointestinal effects, such as dyspepsia, heartburn, nausea and vomit, and its use is one of the most common causes of peptic ulcers. Mangiferin (a glicosilated xanthone extracted mainly from the bark of Mangifera indica L.) is the main compound of an aqueous extract made from the bark stem of the mango tree. Previous studies conducted by our research group prove the anti-inflammatory action of mangiferin on an animal model of periodontitis, and its gastroprotective action has been described before. Considering these informations this study evaluated mangiferin’s potential on the treatment of RA and on gastric ulcer healing in animal models, and analyzed toxicity parameters to assure efficacy and safety of the compound as potential new drug for the treatment of the disease. RA was induced in rats by subcutaneous injection of bovine collagen and Freund’s complete adjuvant. This method presented low incidence of RA in rats, but we were able to induce the disease in 60 to 70% of the animals. Due to the wide use of NSAIDs and its potential to cause peptic ulcers, we induced gastric ulcer on arthritic rats to analyze mangiferin’s gastric healing effect. After 14 days of treatment we noticed small increase of the lesion area of animals treated with mangiferin or ibuprofen, when compared to the animals... Construções gramaticais e questões estilísticas no livro Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, de Antonio Tabucchi

The translation project of some short stories of the book Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, written by the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi, was performed during the academic years. This thesis target is to analyze grammatical and stylistic issues of the short stories; to achieve this goal, parts of the original texts and their respective translations were used. The grammar section approaches important aspects as idioms, false cognates and different verb regencies between Portuguese and Italian. The stylistic part focuses on Tabucchi´s choices regarding the narrator, focalization, types of speech and interior monologues in his texts; these options characterize the Italian writer´s style and make his stories plots intense. As a conclusion it can be noticed that this work is relevant to give a forward step in the Italian literature studies field, because it contributes to an important author style study and provides the analysis of which choices compound the text and the effects they cause

Academias bem sucedidadas: requisitos necessários para um lugar de destaque

Com a busca do corpo perfeito sempre em alta e com diversas matérias em jornais, telejornais e revistas sobre a saúde humana, houve um grande destaque para as academias, para ambos objetivos. De academias voltadas para o público infantil, com ênfase na recreação até as especializadas no público idoso, passando pelas que objetivam estéticas e as que oferecem treinamentos para reabilitação física, este mercado vem crescendo anualmente por todo o território nacional. A retenção de um aluno na academia tornou-se um desafio a mais para os proprietários e funcionários da empresa. Existem inúmeras opções de academias de lutas e musculação por aí. Então o que fazer para que o aluno escolha a sua e não a concorrente? O presente estudo possui como objetivos, através de uma revisão de literatura da área de formação profissional em educação física e administração em recursos humanos para o mercado de trabalho do profissional especializado, responder esta questão, mostrar a relação de profissionais de educação física com a área administrativa de uma empresa e apresentar métodos de organização e planejamento das atividades dentro de academias

Escolha de pareamento com coespecíficos na tilápia-do-Nilo: efeito do tamanho do animal e do horário do dia

Considerando os conceitos de senciência e bem-estar animal, os testes de escolha e preferência são das alternativas interessantes para se discutir o bem-estar em peixes. Assim, avaliamos a escolha da tilápia-do-Nilo (Oreochromis niloticus) em manter-se em isolamento ou próxima a coespecíficos não-familiares de diferentes tamanhos (menores, similares ou maiores que o peixe-foco). O tamanho foi estudado por ser um fator determinante da dominância. Admitindo que o grau de atenção dos indivíduos possa ter flutuação circadiana, testamos também se o período do dia (manhã e tarde) afeta essa escolha. A escolha foi determinada pela maior freqüência do animal junto ao respectivo estímulo. Nesse estudo vimos que a tilápia-do-Nilo apresenta dois perfis de escolha: “decididos”, onde os animais escolhem uma posição em número significativamente maior de vezes; e os “indecisos”, que escolhem igualmente no mínimo duas opções de estímulos. No período da manhã há maior proporção de animais “decididos” do que à tarde. Portanto, embora não tenhamos detectado uma nítida escolha por tamanho de coespecífico o período do dia influenciou o número de indivíduos em cada um dos perfis. Assim, concluímos que a tomada de decisão na tilápia-do-Nilo varia em função do período do dia

Neoplasia mamária em cadelas: aspectos clínico-cirúrgicos

Oncology is presenting an important role in clinical practice as a speciality in recent years in Veterinary Medicine. Mammary gland tumors are detected mainly in old and middleaged bitches that are sexually intact or spayed and the caudal abdominal and inguinal mammary glands are the most affected and they present a percentage up to 75% of malignancy. The majority of dogs with mammary neoplasms are clinically healthy at the time of diagnosis and the tumors can be identified by the owner or a professional during a routine physical examination. Cytological examination of fine needle aspirates can be performed. This procedure is easy and low cost and some criteria that may indicate malignancy are evaluated, however to obtain a definitive diagnosis is performed histopathology of the excised tissue or from biopsy. Regional lymph nodes are the first lymph node to receive lymphatic drainage from the neoplasm. They are at the highest risk of regional metastasis, while the lung is the most common site for distant metastasis. Determining the clinical stage enables the definition of the extension of the tumor. As a consequence, this allows a prognosis to be established and treatment to be planned. The type of therapy to be chosen incites controversy since there are numerous treatment options described, but the surgery is the chosen treatment. However, surgery is not always effective for malignant tumors, and recurrences may occur and in these cases, auxiliary chemotherapy treatments are used. The prognosis for animals that have mammary tumors depends on several factors, such as: size, stage, type of tumor cells and clinical behavior of the tumor, age and medical condition of the animal, and presence of metastasis. Tromboembolismo na aorta abdominal terminal em felinos

Clinical manifestations of arterial thromboembolism in cats depends on the location of embolization, the severity and duration of occlusion, the functionality of the collateral circulation and the development of complications. In case of location in the terminal abdominal aorta usually presents animal paresis/paralysis, pulses are weak or nonpalpable, pain, cold limbs. Gastrocnemius and tibialis muscles generally have become bulbous, swollen and sore because of ischemic neuromyopathy. The nail beds become pale or very dark (purple to black), and do not bleed when cut. Due to the small number of researches in the area it’s until not possible to determine which medication, dosage and frequency of administration are more suitable for the treatment of arterial thromboembolism in cats. Among the options currently available the cheapest, easiest to administer and which requires no periodic monitoring is the low-dose aspirin

A presença das mulheres nas ciências exatas

Most well-known and studied names in schoolbooks are men's. It gives one the idea that the world of numbers does not belong to female individuals. In order to verify that this thought is a misconception, a research is carried out about women who, despite all prejudice, have faced many adversities, leaving us many contributions on exact sciences and being relevant until the present date. Nowadays, there is not as much sexual discrimination. Women’s under-representation in exact sciences is due to other motives, such as issues of choice and the option of part-time jobs for professional/familiar balance. Maybe because of this, women have little acknowledgment, as it can be seen in Nobel Prize, where of its 851 awards, only 44 were for women. They are present at different degrees of education, such as licentiate graduation, bachelor’s or master’s, but still outnumbered. Atividades circenses em academias: uma nova opção no âmbito do lazer

The Brazilian population needs of practicing exercises increases every day by the health or pleasure results of it. But although conventional options of physical activities are more popular and easier to find out wherever you go, alternative ways of exercising yourself and unconscious and indirect ways to obtain wellness and health are increasing its popularity nowadays. One example of it is the circus classes inside the gyms, where people have fun during intense body working, while get in shape and relax them mind, getting all the benefits like any other conventional physical activity does. Thinking about the increasing teaching of circus arts like a new option of physical activity and leisure to the Sao Paulo citizens inside its bigger gyms, this study founded out how and why these classes were offered there and the reasons of the people interests and maintenance of them practice in this kind of classes.

Avaliação e comparação do perfil de dissolução do Fluconazol 150mg cápsulas produto referência, genérico e similar

Fármacos com alta permeabilidade intestinal, ampla faixa terapêutica e ausência de evidências documentadas de bioinequivalência ou problemas de biodisponibilidade devido à formulação, foram considerados bioisentos pela ANVISA (RDC 37/2011), ou seja, os fármacos que se encaixam nesta categoria não necessitam de estudos de biodisponibilidade relativa/bioequivalência para serem comercializados. Dentre os catorze produtos que receberam a bioisenção da ANVISA, encontra-se o fluconazol, antifúngico aprovado atualmente para ser comercializado em vários países, inclusive no Brasil, onde inúmeras opções comerciais do produto fluconazol cápsulas, genérico ou similar, podem ser adquiridas. Tendo em vista a bioisenção do produto fluconazol cápsulas e sua larga utilização no mercado brasileiro, o estudo do perfil de dissolução deste produto torna-se relevante. Sendo assim, este trabalho avaliou 2 produtos genéricos e 2 produtos similares frente ao medicamento referência em relação aos seus perfis de dissolução e a similaridade entre eles. Os resultados foram avaliados seguindo a RDC 31/2011 da ANVISA que prevê o cálculo do fator de similaridade entre os perfis de dissolução. E, pôde-se observar que apenas 1 medicamento genérico apresentou o fator de similaridade adequado (entre 50 e 100), sendo 51,60, os demais medicamentos testes apresentaram valores fora do intervalo adotado pela ANVISA. Através desses resultados, conclui-se que intercambialidade do medicamento referência pelo medicamento genérico ou similar não é adequada, uma vez que eles não são considerados iguais, salvo um dos medicamentos genéricos.

Water is one of the main inputs in agribusiness and is traded indirectly through the sale of agricultural products such as orange (juice or fresh) and cane sugar (ethanol and refined sugar). This study aims to estimate the proportional mass of water present in the products exported in the form of agricultural commodities considering the amount of water incorporated into the product in its genesis by plant photosynthesis, reinforcing a reflection on virtual and real water export, as well to indicate subsidies to management, planning and taxing of water resources

Centro de educação, cultura e lazer

O presente Trabalho Final de Graduação apresenta um projeto que se baseou no programa oferecido pelo Centro Educacional Unificado – CEU, equipamento público criado em 2001 pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação da Prefeitura de São Paulo destinado a áreas periféricas da cidade de São Paulo. E também no programa oferecido pelo SESI – Serviço Social da Indústria, entidade de direito privado criado em 1946 pela CNI – Confederação Nacional da Indústria. Formulado para funcionar como um espaço de sociabilização da vida urbana e com o intuito de oferecer EDUCAÇÃO, CULTURA E LAZER para o desenvolvimento integral de crianças, jovens e adultos das comunidades do entorno. O programa desenvolvido para o CENTRO DE EDUCAÇÃO, CULTURA E LAZER, conta com um Bloco Cultural o qual apresenta espaços como: Biblioteca, Teatro, Refeitório, Administração, Salas de atividades diversas e a Creche; o Bloco Educacional Abriga um Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI), uma Escola Municipal de Educação Infantil (EMEI), uma Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental (EMEF) e Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). E por fim, uma Praça de Esporte e Lazer equipada com Ginásio Poliesportivo coberto, quadras descobertas, piscinas e playground, sendo estes espaços abertos aos finais de semana com a finalidade de proporcionar opções de recreação em beneficio de toda comunidade. A escolha do local para a implantação deste projeto foi a cidade de Ribeirão Preto (localizada a nordeste do Estado de São Paulo), no bairro Jardim Jamil Seme Cury, conjunto habitacional criado para receber moradores vindos de uma comunidade carente que se localizava no entorno do aeroporto Leite Lopes, o qual passa por discussões para a inserção de um Terminal Internacional de Cargas, e consequentemente necessita ampliar sua área de abrangência

Modelos de tratamento para adenocarcinomas de próstata tratados por radioterapia conformacional 3D

Radiotherapy is a branch of medical physics related to the treatment of malignant neoplasm, being an important instrument in the fight against cancer, when combined with the effort of a multidisciplinary team, composed of, physicians, physicists, nurses and technicians. Every year more than 3.5 million new cases of cancer are recorded in the world, being the prostate cancer responsible for approximately 25% of this amount (INCA and IARC, 2008). In this type of cancer, radiotherapy is a method indicated for treatement. The technological advance in this area over years has allowed a greater accuracy in the tumor location, more conformation of the radiation beam around the tumor, reducing the dose in healthy tissues and a consequent dose increase on treatment (Bedford et al., 1999). A radiotherapy planning, in which the physicist develops an important role, is composed of several steps, including choosing the best configuration of treatment beams. This choice has a close relationship with success of therapy and is critical to achieve the best distribution of dose inside the tumor and expose the least as possible the healthy tissue to radiation. In this work, two options for setting up camps in the first phase in a treatment of prostate cancer were simulated in computer planning: 4 fields orthogonal or “Box” with gantry angles in 00, 1800, 2700 e 90° and 4 fields angled or “X” (1350, 450, 3150 e 2250). The percentage of the rectal volume exposed to 40, 50, 60, 72 and 76 Gy should be limited to 60, 50, 25, 15 and 5% respectively (Greco et al., 2003). The femoral toxicity have limited dose by 70% of the total dose prescribed in a prostate treatment (Bedford et al., 1999). The planning of 27 patients with prostate adenocarcinoma submitted to 3D conformal radiotherapy were accompanied. As a result, it was assessed that the best TCP (tumor control probability)... Intervenção urbana: transporte público e qualidade de vida na cidade sem limites - terminal urbano central de Bauru

O grau de desenvolvimento econômico e social de uma sociedade pode ser avaliado diretamente à facilidade de transporte de passageiros e cargas. A qualidade de vida nas cidades é fortemente influenciada pelas características do transporte público. O Brasil tem 80 % de sua população morando em cidades, de forma que uma maior utilização do transporte público seria a solução para problemas de congestionamento, poluição, acidentes, desumanização e outros males que atingem as cidades modernas. Bauru, interior de São Paulo, é uma cidade de porte médio que apresenta um dos maiores índices de utilização de automóveis particulares, em parte pela formação da cidade, que é “espalhada”, e outra por suas características econômicas. A população de baixa renda, moradores da periferia e dependentes do transporte público, enfrenta grandes dificuldades para acessar as diferentes áreas da cidade (má operacionalização do sistema?). Este trabalho de finalização da graduação tem como objetivo maior trazer opções e facilitar o acesso da população a todas as áreas da cidade, através de um sistema de terminais e mini-terminais urbanos de transporte coletivo, buscando a melhor utilização do espaço público, uma maior mobilidade na cidade e a melhoria da qualidade de vida da população
