Uma avaliação do conceito de regência e transitividade na tradição gramatical do português

In this paper, we study patterns of complementation as well as transitivity in Portuguese grammatical tradition aiming at verifying the motor of interest toward these subjects as well as eventual historic changes in the direction of the treatment they have been given. We analyze the concepts, the relations and the grounding notions in this camp, as well as the (in)transitive property of verbs in correlation with the status of their complements. Historically documented normative determinations of the notion of complementation and the modern reactions to such a view are relevant to our examination. Our conclusion moves toward a socio‑historic conditioning of traditional lessons, acknowledging, however, the natural existence of theoretical directions in the proposals.

Uma amostra do tratamento concedido às classes de palavras na tradição gramatical do português

Within a broader study of the apparatus governing the establishment of word classes in grammatical tradition, this study is centered on examining the treatment of the (sub)class of pronouns in two grammar guide groups from different periods. The collation was especially oriented by the existing general notion of a very strong link of the first grammarians with logic and, as a counterpart, of an insertion of the most recent works in the universe of a linguistic science and, at the same time, in the universe of a parameterization limiting actions and decisions.

O legado grego na terminologia gramatical brasileira

This study aims at investigating the existence of a Greek terminological legacy in the Brazilian grammatical organization, taking into account that the initial Greek grammar is the source of our grammar, through the Latin grammar, and that the field defined by it is a reference point for studying the evolution of Western thought about language. The theoretical and methodological approach is based on Historical Linguistics along the lines that guided the extensive research on the emergence of grammar in the West, which is the source of the information organized here (NEVES, 2005). The reflections focus on the examination of nomenclature, considering that it conceptually maps the set of positions assumed, and in general maintained, that deserve consideration. Among other things, the survey compared both Greek terms inherited in the continuous current of the grammatical thinking with Greek terms introduced later, and terms transliterated from the Greek with terms modeled on the Latin translation. In addition, there have been cases of names that were changed while the concept was kept and cases of concepts that were changed while the name was kept. Anyway, the examination of the nomenclature reveals the undeniable existence of a Greek legacy in the organization of the Portuguese grammar.

Teoría y práctica de administración y cobranza de rentas reales en Navarra (siglo XVIII)

[ES]El artículo pretende reflexionar sobre los limitados avances que, en la práctica, se siguen de la introducción de las reformas hacendísticas borbónicas en la España del siglo XVIII, por medio del conocimiento de su aplicación en un territorio de privilegiada fiscalidad como es el reino de Navarra. Pretendemos profundizar en el conocimiento de unos programas reformadores, teóricamente desarrollados y con voluntad generalizadora, que terminan traducidos en modificaciones básicamente administrativas o de gobierno de las rentas reales, como testimonio de la inviabilidad de una reforma fiscal que no puede o no quiere transformar la esencia contributiva sobre la que se sustenta.
