In this paper, I focus on one type of grammatical change consisting of creating periphrastic junctures from nominal sources used in relative clause contexts. This is a periphrase production mechanism that has been increasing the unstable paradigm of junctures and helping delineate Portuguese language grammar. One construction resulting from this mechanism is (na) hora que, in relation to which I propose to investigate form, meaning and history. In this work are discussed the main types of rivets, their characteristics and applicability within the Aeronautical Industry branch. Here are highlighted the solid rivets, showing off its layout, forms and limits of installation, that are required by aviation regulators. The riveting is a popular and simple procedure of fixing and joining two or more parts, and like any other manufacturing process is subject to process deviations that in some situations are beyond the limits of tolerance. One of these deviations is when the hole diameter exceeds the one proposed in project and which is limited by the rule of edge distance. The overall objective here is to study a possible solution to this problem: the installation of a rivet that has his diameter previously increased by compression. Observe the hole filling after riveting, detect the presence of cracks, discover the yield curve of the fasteners and their the crushing limits for failure prediction are tools used to verify this proposal. They demonstrate, at the end of study, the inefficiency of this procedure, with results that go against the safe fixing of parts in a structure

Aumento de produtividade em uma célula produtiva com processo de usinagem utilizando conceitos Lean

In the current competitive and global scenario, companies in search for solutions that become the production every time more efficient is increasing and at the same time cost reductions and cost eliminations are becoming increasingly evident and needed. In an attempt to improve production, this work aims to compare benefits obtained using principles of philosophy Lean Manufacturing in an productivity growth of a cell from an auto parts sector industry. For that purpose it will be studied the history, the concepts and the tools of philosophy Lean Manufacturing, thus using the as a business-strategic tool to accomplish goals that the company expects to get greater competitiveness and quality. The efficiency of philosophy Lean Manufacturing was already confirmed through applying the concepts in the process which has been improved inside an auto parts sector industry. At last, comparative analyzes showed benefits obtained with the use of Lean Manufacture tool called VSM, Value Stream Map, which translates the Value Stream Map of a particular family of parts as the identification, minimization and elimination of waste identified

Transvestites and transsexualsface everyday intense process of exclusion. The un(un)involvement to those people ethically and politically is a fact and comes from the State and Civil Society. The aims of this article are to analyzehow transgenderexperience their construction of identity in aheteronormative social context; the public health assistance, work and incomepursuit. The methodology used was qualitative action research. The conclusion is that suffering is the result of a process of right’s fight and pursuit for health, assistance and work. The situations of being treated as inferior persons, with no social value are experienced repeatedly.

A intersemiose texto-história-cinema na minissérie ROMA da HBO

From August 2005 to March 2007, the two seasons (with 12 and 10 episodes respectively) of the award winning miniseries HBO‟s ROME were aired by the Home Box Office (HBO) channel. With screenplay signed by various writers and directors, the TV series was a coproduction of HBO (USA) and BBC (UK) with support from RAI (Italy), and the show was filmed in multiple locations, but mainly in Cinecittà Film Studios in Rome, very famous for having been headquarters also for Federico Fellini‟s movies. In the first season, the miniseries depicts the conquest of Gaul, made by the military genius of Gaius Julius Caesar, and the political trajectory that made him accumulate power to such an extent that this divided Roman citizens into two factions, one supporting and the other opposing him, the latter focused mainly on the historic figure of General Gnaeus Pompey Magnus. The second season shows the period of civil war following the assassination of Caesar, and the future rise to power of his nephew, adopted son and sole heir, Gaius Octavian Augustus, who was destined to overcome his rivals as well as their allies in the triumvirate that had been formed to pursue and punish Caesar‟s assassins. These facts are well known and usually crowd the mind and imagination of every minimally educated person. The HBO series broke new ground not only for the talent of its writers, directors and actors, not only for its visual effects and locations nor for the vibrancy and grandeur of historical scenes – after all, “historical movies” in general do the same – but it has done so also by the (re)construction of historical events from the perspective of a pair of protagonists of whom too little is known: the centurions Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus, who are the only low-rank soldiers mentioned by Caesar in his book Commentaries on the Gallic War (Commentarii de Bello Gallico V.44). Thus, the fictionalization of events also took into account several Roman civilization data which were scattered through historical sources and also those that belong to the modern knowledge of material culture, resulting in a TV series whose filmic aesthetics has rare beauty and creativity. From the survey of textual, historical and cultural data put together in this film, as well as the distance featuring the creative space in the dimension of the gap between them, this paper aims to highlight two pivotal moments of visual and narrative strategies of the show: the opening credits footage and the final scenes of the first season of HBO's Rome.

Gestos de subjetivação: as dificuldades para realizar uma história do corpo e da sexualidade

The article presents, from the Analysis of French Discourse, different gestures of reading and interpretation of the body and sexuality at various times in history. It demonstrates that such gestures reading are the fruit of experience that each society sets about their cultural values and norms in each period, both in the first civilizations to the economy of sex for birth control and the survival of the group and in the Medieval Christianity control of sex in the fight against sin. Each society according to Michel Foucault, establishes a system of knowledge and power to order and classify the type of body and citizen you desire, like the city of Sparta with its regime of knowledge and training of the soldier and in Athens with the democratic regime in the formation of the political, or contemporary society in the formation of the body of perfect proportions that meet the stipulations of the market.

As Ciências Sociais no Brasil: trajetória, história e institucionalização

A trajetória do pensamento social no Brasil remonta à segunda metade do século XIX e envolve muitas correntes, linhagens e famílias intelectuais que enformam as Ciências Sociais no Brasil. Por isso, há controvérsias quanto à fundação das Ciências Sociais, considerada, de um lado, por meio da trajetória histórica, e, de outro, pela institucionalização do trabalho científico. O debate ganha complexidade quando são considerados os marcos fundadores, as características, o significado e as implicações dessa institucionalização que, longe de esclarecer a questão, cria novos problemas para o entendimento e avaliação do processo. Rediscutir as circunstâncias histórico-sociais e as configurações intelectuais de sua fundação e desenvolvimento, entendemos ser pertinente e necessário, sendo esse o propósito deste artigo.

The broad concept of sexuality that goes beyond the genital is based on a vision that understands the body and the sexuality as representations that are constructed by social discourses. It also seeks to reflect on the process of sex education must be understood in its ethical-political dimension to assure everyone a space for formation of attitudes, not to work information on sexuality issues.
