Modelo de conjuntos fuzzy e de regressão logística para dados de obesidade

Obesidade e comumente definida como um excesso de gordura corporal, porém diante da dificuldade em mensurar tal gordura diretamente, esta tem sido definida como um excesso de peso mais do que um excesso de gordura corporal, que tem como desdobramento a ocorrência de doenças associadas e/ou prejuízos a saúde do indivíduo (4). Atualmente, o excesso de massa corpórea e verificado por meio de um Indice de Massa Corpórea (IMC), que considera o quociente entre o peso corporal (kg) e a estatura elevada ao quadrado (m2). Indivíduos com sobrepeso apresentam IMC de 25 at e 29; 9 kg=m2, e com obesidade apresentam IMC de 30 Kg=m2 ou mais, de acordo com a OMS (1). A identificação das causas da obesidade não é trivial e objetiva. Especialistas reconhecem que a obesidade e uma doença crônica, de difícil tratamento, denominada multifatorial, envolvendo em sua gênese diversos aspectos, entre eles: o consumo alimentar, aspectos ambientais, genéticos, psicossociais, entre outros. objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver um modelo baseado em teoria dos conjuntos Fuzzy para a classificação de obesidade levando em consideração as suas causas, e compará-lo com um modelo de regressão logística através da curva ROC. Para estudar as causas da obesidade na população de moradores da região do Distrito Sul de Campinas, foram coletados dados de uma amostra aleatória de 651 indivíuos, por meio de entrevista domiciliar. No primeiro estágio amostral, a partir do cadastro de domicílios residenciais dos agentes comunitários de saúde, foram aleatoriamente sorteados 920 domicílios (15% a mais do inicialmente previsto para cobrir perdas). Foram coletados dados de identificação geral, como: nome, idade, sexo, anos de escolaridade, tipo de ocupação e dados de consumo alimentar. O diagnóstico foi observado através do IMC. História natural de Hypsiboas albopunctatus (Anura: Hylidae) na região de Rio Claro, estado de São Paulo

Natural history studies aim to know where the organisms live, what they do, and their relationships within the environment, including the other organisms. The anurans, among other vertebrates, exhibits the greatest variety of reproductive modes as well as a high complexity of social organization, that may enable a lot of naturalist studies. Anurans modes of organization are direct related to parental care, vocalization of chorus organization, and with males territoriality. In general, the social organization is influenced by species reproductive pattern. This study aim to get information about the natural history of Hypsiboas albopunctatus (perereca-cabrinha) a species of the family Hylidae, on the region of Rio Claro Municipality, São Paulo State, Brazil. The major aspects discussed were: seasonality, spatial distribution, acoustic and visual communication, reproductive mode, reproductive site, abiotic factors influences, territoriality, courtship behaviour, satellite male behavior, embrace and defensive behavior. To obtain this data, nocturnal field excursions were realized monthly. Two sites of Rio Claro county where chosen as studies sites, the sítio Cantaclaro (22o19’36’’S; 47o42’57’’O), on the District of Itapé and Floresta Estadual Edmundo Navarro de Andrade (FEENA) (22o24’58’’S; 47o31’26’’O).

Satisfação dos Usuários do Ambulatório Geral do Hospital das Clínicas de Botucatu

The searches for a health service it’s a part of a process, searches for a qualified evaluation can arise the perception, in form of irritating factors taking for an alert state. The personal expectation, it makes influence in its perceptions, too. The objective was to evaluate the satisfaction degree of the users of “Seção Técnica de Ambulatório Geral do Hospital das Clínicas de Botucatu”. The work is about a quantitative and transversal study, with calculated sample of 366 users, chosen randomly and invited to participate through a questionnaire. The population was compounded by a majority of women (64,5%), between 50 to 59 years old and average degree of education (38,3%). 25 specialties were cited. The evaluate about comfort, cleaning, reception, waiting time, medical attention and nursing vary between “very good” and “good”. Obtained significant “regular” assessment, the comfort in the waiting rooms (24%), silence (25%) and cleaning bathroom (63%). Others negative evaluation was the reception about the waiting time (26%), waiting time between arrival and the consultation (34%), waiting time between the request and consultation (27%). 30,6% report to know the place for complaints and 79,4% of these pointed to the ombudsman. 62% consider their problems solved, 84,4% would indicate the hospital, 57,4% would consider the hospital better than imagined. 42,62% used the opened area for thanking, critical for staff, suggestion infrastructure improvements, cleaning and waiting time. The biggest complaint was the staff turnover in the treatment. There was disharmony between the objective and subjective questions, but, all of them must be considered to propose improvements. The satisfaction evaluation makes the service more effective, bringing credibility to the health service and the patients adhere better to the treatment

As metamorfoses no espaço com o advento da Copa do Mundo no Brasil: estudos sobre o distrito de Itaquera-SP

The present work discuss the reproduction of the social relations from the point of view of the new urban production relations - having as empirical universe for analysis-, the Itaquera district in the Sao Paulo metropolis, with the advent of the World Cup in Brazil. Starting with the reading of a reality in movement, in which the analysis walks covering the dialectic relationship between space and society, where the first is translated into product and life reproduction condition, aiming to unveil the metamorphoses that will take place in the urban space with its consequent contradiction, what it may be the expanded capital reproduction concomitantly with the process that denounces a spoliation movement of the social space. With the society approval before these big architectural projects enabled by ideology, it’s determined the (re) production of artificial spaces of consumption, funded for the capital extension. The current stage that the capitalism reveals a space turned into mass consumption merchandise, consequence of the victory of the exchange value over the usage value, amalgamated in positive measures of expulsion/sweeping of low income socio-economic layers

Diagnóstico ambiental da área de influência do distrito industrial de Rio Claro - SP

Economic activities, whether large or small, can cause a range of environmental changes, not always reversible, harming society and its quality of life. Many potentially polluting activities have already been installed in various Brazilian cities, just as at the industrial district of Rio Claro / SP, which allow the synthesis of the many environmental impacts. In this sense, this report aims to make an environmental assessment in the influence area of the industrial district of Rio Claro / SP, located in the urban area of the city. As a result, the existence of prior related studies was observed, especially the diagnosis and study of the many implications that arises from activities impacting, and further, there was a demarcation of the influence area of the district and its derivatives impacts in the influence area, the steps of prediction and mitigation measures and if these activities meet the minimum technical requirements in planning and environmental applicable legislation.

Os papéis dos RNAs não codificantes no desenvolvimento embrionário: um panorama geral

The genome of multicellular organisms shows a ruge index of RNA transcripts that are not protein coding. These ncRNAs act in housekeeping and genic regulation, as well in signaling and cell differentiation, crucial events to embryonic and ontogenetic development. Moreover, another events require the orderly expression these transcripts, as in cromossomic inactivation and genomic imprinting process, and their fail may cause several syndromes, malformations, illness and even death of affected individual. This review focus is to present the main acting pathways of ncRNAs already studied, as well to introduce the actual landscape of Dapper gene cluster and its performance in vertebrate development.

Caracterização microestrutural de junta soldada com arco submerso e análise da propagação de trincas em um tubo de aço API X 70

In this work a study of an API 5L X70 steel, which is used in the manufacture of oil and gas pipelines, has been made. This class of steel show high strength and ductility values, and has been increasingly studied due the growing demand of oil and natural gas, which in consequence, increases the needing of new pipelines to transport them. The material studied has been directly taken from a tube provided by TenarisConfab, and a special attention has been given to the fatigue crack growth rate study, which proved that a crack will grow at different rates according to the tube position where it is growing

Transformações socioespaciais no distrito de Gardenia, município de Rancharia – SP

It is known that the process of capitalist restructuring resulted in socio-spatial transformations in various geographical scales. Space is continually diversifying and redefining their roles, driven mostly by external agents. This search analyzes how and intensities are consolidating these new refunctionalisation the District of Gardenia city of Rancharia-SP.The study brings some concepts in the definition of small town, which are fundamental to the definition of the area that is the object of our study. Some features are explained in the District, such as location, history of economic activities preterit in a record that cover the 1950s to the present day. From this record ,it will be exposed and analyzed the services (private and collective goods) offered to the population in order to highlight their importance for better social equity. The information for your preparation of this work were supported mostly on reports and records historical and contextualized with specific bibliography. In developing the search is portrayed as the district Gardenia was modifying its economic activities, physical space and how it is currently being structured with tourist activity. Based on this extraction, it is proposed a compilation of a bilingual glossary, so that the referred material can be used by learner translators as well as English language teachers.

Aplicações do fluxo de Ricci à teoria da relatividade geral: estudo dos buracos negros

The flow of Ricci is an analytical tool, and a similar equation for heat geometry, a diffusive process which acts on a variety of metrics Riemannian and thus can be used in mathematics to understand the topology of varieties and also in the study geometric theories. Thus, the Ricci curvature plays an important role in the General Theory of Relativity, characterized as a geometric theory, which is the dominant term in the Einstein field equations. The present work has as main objectives to develop and apply Ricci flow techniques to general relativity, in this case, a three-dimensional asymptotically flat Riemannian metric as a set of initial data for Einstein equations and establish relations and comparisons between them.

A pesquisa sobre o ensino da relatividade especial e geral: implicações para a prática docente

Em nosso estudo, investigamos as contribuições das pesquisas sobre o Ensino da Teoria da Relatividade Especial e Geral (TREG) e suas implicações para a prática docente. Para tanto, revisamos atas de 03 congressos científicos realizados no Brasil. Mapeamos 44 estudos, os quais foram categorizados de acordo com seus propósitos. Identificamos uma grande quantidade de produções, com foco na análise de conteúdos em livros, na formação de conceitos e na implementação de propostas didáticas, o que permite-nos inferir que, a procura por alternativas para que o ensino da TREG seja realmente efetivado se faz necessária e o aumento de investigações no ambiente escolar parece o caminho mais acertado. Há, também, uma necessidade de investirmos esforços na formação inicial dos professores, para que eles sintam-se seguros para abordar a TREG, quando estiverem em atividade docente.

Comparação de junta soldada aço carbono/ aço inox utilizando como metal de adição aço carbono e aço inox

In contemporary industrial, welding processes are widely used, this is the most important process of joining metals used industrially. The welding can be used to build simple structures, like doors and gates for instance, in the same way can be used in situations of high responsibility, such as the nuclear industry and oil industry. Dissimilar welding is a case of welded joints, is characterized by the junction between different materials, for this case, stainless steel and carbon steel that are widely used in steam lines, power plants, nuclear reactors, petrochemical plants. Because their different mechanical and corrosive properties, the join, stainless steel with carbon steel, not only meets environmental requirements and also reduces cost. By using penetrating liquid tests, macrograph, hardness and tensile test was compared the possibility of replacing the current use of 309 rods as filler metal in dissimilar welding between carbon steel and stainless steel by add-on material carbon steel essentially, in this case E7018 coated electrode was used, but without the coating. After analysis of the results and for comparison, was proposed with some certainty that it is possible to replace the addition of materials, thus leading economy in this process widely used in the modern industry
