O presente artigo tenta recuperar as idéias e proposta de H.Furth (1973 ), apontando-a como mais uma opção para tentar trabalhar com as dificuldades das crianças no processo de alfabetização. O autor propõe a substituição das “escolas da linguagem” pelas “escolas do pensamento”, ou seja,substituir a opção do professor no ensino da leitura-escrita, em sua forma tradicional, de como transformar sinais gráficos em sonoros e vice-versa, por aquela do fortalecimento do pensamento, alimentando o intelecto em desenvolvimento da criança por meio de exercícios de “lógica simbólica”.Para nos embasar teoricamente, apresentamos ainda alguns aspectos da teoria psicogenética, bem como outros trabalhos realizados mais recentemente sobre o assunto, que embora “travestidos” (disfarçados) com novas roupagens, ainda encontram seus fundamentos nas obras de J.Piaget.

The impact of the law 10,267/2001 in the brazilian rural registration

The publication of the Law 10,267 of 08/28/2001 changed the paradigm of rural registration in Brazil, because this law known as the Law of Georeferencing has created the National Registration of Rural Property, that unifies in a common basis different registrations present in several government agencies, such as the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA), the Secretariat of Federal Revenue, the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Natural Resources, and the National Indian Foundation. Also, this new registration system has a graphical component which has not existed until such date, where the boundaries of rural property are georeferenced to the Brazilian Geodetic System. This new paradigm has resulted in a standardization of the survey and its representation of rural properties according to the Technical Standard for Georeferencing of Rural Properties, published by INCRA in compliance with the new legislation. Due to the georeferencing, the creation of a public GIS of free access on the Internet was possible. Among the difficulties found it may be observed the great Brazilian territory, the need for specialized professionals, and especially the certification process that INCRA has to perform for each georeferenced property. It is hoped that this last difficulty is solved with the implementation of the Land Management System that will allow automated and online certification, making the process more transparent, agile and fast.

Planejamento de experimentos em blocos aplicado às propriedades mecânicas de arames de aço para molas

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate an application of the design of block experiments via analysis and multiple linear regression in the investigation of a steel thermal treatment process with multiple responses. The study aimed to design statistical models to predict the mechanical properties in SAE 9254 draw steel wires, with diameters of 2.00 mm and 6.50 mm, after quench hardening and tempering. For this purpose, process input variables (wire diameter, processing speed, tempering temperature and polymer concentration) were investigated regarding their influence on the material tensile strength, yield point and hardness. The results revealed that the mechanical properties of the steel wire are significantly influenced by the selected variables, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to validate the design of the statistical models. Multiple linear regression allowed for an appropriate representation of the process, and graphical analysis was found to be very useful in displaying the behavior of the multiple responses.

Emergetic ternary diagrams: five examples for application in environmental accounting for decision-making

In a recent paper, "A combined tool for environmental scientists and decision makers: ternary diagrams and emergy accounting." [Giannettti BF, Barrella FA, Almeida CMVB. A combined tool for environment scientists and decision makers: ternary diagrams and emergy accounting. J Clean Prod, in press http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jclepro.2004.09.002] Ternary diagrams were proposed as a graphical tool to assist emergy analysis. The graphical representation of the emergy accounting data makes it possible to compare processes and systems with and without ecosystem services, to evaluate improvements and to follow the system performance over time. The graphic tool is versatile and adaptable to represent products, processes, systems, countries, and different periods of time.The use and the versatility of ternary diagrams for assisting in performing emergy analyses are illustrated by means of five examples taken from the literature, which are presented and discussed. It is shown that emergetic ternary diagram's properties assist the assessment of the system of the system efficiency, its dependance upon renewable and non-renewable inputs and the environmental support for dilution and abatement of process emissions. With the aid of ternary diagrams, details such as the interaction between systems and between systems and the environment are recognized and evaluated. Such a tool for graphical analysis allows a transparent presentation of the results and can serve as an interface between emergy scientists and decision makers, provided the meaning of each line in the diagram is carefully explained and understood. O desenvolvimento do mercado imobiliário e a abertura de capital desse setor no Brasil

This paper aims to present a study on the development of the real state market in Brazil. The analysis starts from the historical perspective, since the establishment of bases in that market until today's perspective, initial public offering of real state companies. In addition to this analysis, is also intended to discuss the several forms of financing real estate currently available in the Brazilian real estate market. Finally, and perhaps the most important part, analyze the IPO of 15 companies in the industry, held in 2007, notably through comparative graphical analysis, noting the factors that influence stock returns of these companies
