Resumo:
Using monotone bifunctions, we introduce a recession concept for general equilibrium problems relying on a variational convergence notion. The interesting purpose is to extend some results of P. L. Lions on variational problems. In the process we generalize some results by H. Brezis and H. Attouch relative to the convergence of the resolvents associated with maximal monotone operators.
Resumo:
The aim of this paper is to study a generalized form of elliptic-type integrals which unify and extend various families of elliptic-type integrals studied recently by several authors. In a recent communication [1] we have obtained recurrence relations and asymptotic formula for this generalized elliptic-type integral. Here we shall obtain some more results which are single and multiple integral formulae, differentiation formula, fractional integral and approximations for this class of generalized elliptic-type integrals.

Let a1 , . . . , ar, be positive integers, i=1 ... r, m = ∑(ai − 1) + 1 and p = max{a1 , . . . , ar }. For a graph G the symbol G → (a1 , . . . , ar ) means that in every r-coloring of the vertices of G there exists a monochromatic ai -clique of color i for some i ∈ {1, . . . , r}. In this paper we consider the vertex Folkman numbers F (a1 , . . . , ar ; m − 1) = min |V (G)| : G → (a1 , . . . , ar ) and Km−1 ⊂ G} We prove that F (a1 , . . . , ar ; m − 1) = m + 6, if p = 3 and m ≧ 6 (Theorem 3) and F (a1 , . . . , ar ; m − 1) = m + 7, if p = 4 and m ≧ 6 (Theorem 4).

We study, in Carathéodory assumptions, existence, continuation and continuous dependence of extremal solutions for an abstract and rather general class of hereditary differential equations. By some examples we prove that, unlike the nonfunctional case, solved Cauchy problems for hereditary differential equations may not have local extremal solutions.

The generalized Wiener-Hopf equation and the approximation methods are used to propose a perturbed iterative method to compute the solutions of a general class of nonlinear variational inequalities.

We prove that in quadratic perturbations of generic Hamiltonian vector fields with two saddle points and one center there can appear at most two limit cycles. This bound is exact.

We consider a 3-dimensional Riemannian manifold V with a metric g and an a±nor structure q. The local coordinates of these tensors are circulant matrices. In V we define an almost conformal transformation. Using that definition we construct an infinite series of circulant metrics which are successively almost conformaly related. In this case we get some properties.
