This study has its objective to analyze how the Technology of Information and Communication-TIC will be applied in the construction on new knowledge in the schools bounded to the program Acessa Escola.( School turned on) This program from São Paulo’s Government, developed by the Secretary of Education of the State , under the coordination of the Foundation to the Development of the Education-FDE, which has the work proposal to promote the digital inclusion to all the educational community. Making it possible the access of the Technology of Information and Communication to the users; Students, teachers, and school employees to have the exchange of information and knowledge. Therefore, there is the collaboration between teachers and student.For the development of this research, there will be semi-structured interviews with high school teacher from 3 different High Schools of Piracicaba-SP. These interviews will be done in a qualitative approach and will be submitted to the Ethic Committee from the University

We realize this days a spacing of individuals, on what concerns their relationships with others. At the same time, the technologies and the possibilities of virtual interaction are more and more present and developed. At this point, we draw a connection between the virtual immersion and the detachment from personal and face to face relationships. Wear this reality, this project proposes a discussion of the communications while transmitting messages and content, as well as a basis for social relations developed between individuals in a given society. From this analysis, we depart for the development of an action joining the Public Relations and Design, while communication areas that when involved, enable the development of an empirical theory for the increased use of social relations, through the feelings

Qualidade de vida e vulnerabilidade social na percepção do idoso

According to data from the World Health Organization, the older population will grow sixteenfold from 1950 to 2025 in comparison to a fivefold population growth in the same period, which is referred to by UNO as the “Ageing Era”. This places Brazil in the sixth position in the contingent of older individuals worldwide, with a number that is higher than 32 million. Considering how topics such as quality of life and social vulnerability are important in face of the growing older population, these topics must be furthered studied so that they can be understood as important variables for both better clinical practice and scientific research. To describe the social vulnerability and evaluate the quality of life of older individuals in a population hospitalized in the internal medicine ward of Bauru State Hospital. This is a descriptive qualitative study that was conducted by means of interviews and using Bardin’s discourse analysis. The inclusion criteria used in this study were: individuals at 60 years of age who were mentally capable of answering the proposed questions. Two categories concerning Quality of Life and Social Vulnerability emerged from the interviews. The following emerged from the theme Quality of Life: “Life as something important” and subcategories that involved feeling useful in society, having a supportive family, independence, optimism and joy and survival. Also, the following emerged from the theme Social Vulnerability: “Negative recognition of older individuals in society” and subcategories that involved lack of respect, functional disability, family indifference, housing-related insecurity, an inefficient health care system and loneliness. Análise da qualidade de vida de pacientes com a doença de Charcot-Marie-Tooth tipo 1A

A doença de Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) é a mais freqüente das neuropatias hereditárias, mas a sua história natural é pouco conhecida. Apesar da maioria dos pacientes apresentarem uma evolução com características mais “benignas”, é associado à doença com um comprometimento funcional, o que pode ser acompanhado de limitações e incapacitações. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a qualidade de vida de pacientes afetados pela CMT1A. Considerando que a qualidade de vida pode sofrer influência de variáveis sócio-culturais, um estudo neste contexto mostra-se oportuno. Nenhum estudo de nosso conhecimento realizou tal avaliação no contexto brasileiro. Fizeram parte deste estudo pacientes com CMT decorrente da duplicação 17p11.2-p12 (CMT1A) que foram avaliados quanto ao comprometimento funcional por meio da aplicação do SF-36. Esse questionário é utilizado internacionalmente para aferir a qualidade de vida dos indivíduos. Os resultados obtidos foram submetidos à análise estatística. Como resultados não se observaram associações entre o gênero e os domínios avaliados para a qualidade de vida. Os dados obtidos revelaram que a qualidade de vida dos pacientes com CMT1A se mostrou comprometida principalmente quanto aos seus Aspectos Sociais (p = 0,02) e Aspectos emocionais (p = 0,04). Adicionalmente, houve uma tendência ao comprometimento da Capacidade Funcional (p = 0,08), sendo que os outros índices de avaliação de comprometimento físico se mostraram preservados. A presença ou ausência de ocupação parece influenciar os Aspectos Sociais apresentando uma tendência de diferença significativa (p = 0,07), possuindo o grupo com ocupação valores superiores. Apesar da CMT1A apresentar piora clínica ao longo dos anos, a idade mais avançada não implicou em uma pior percepção da qualidade de vida no grupo de pacientes estudados no presente trabalho... A construção da notícia no portal choike.org: comunicação alternativa na internet

This project aims to study the influence of information technology in the construction of new forms of citizenship. A large space as possible by the Internet allows the emergence of alternative news sources, as opposed to the means of mass communication. The research will take from the study of the news portal Choike.org. Maintained by civil society representatives, the website has a proposal to address topics that are infrequent in the media hegemony. To facilitate the study, we established a cut. Let's look at five bulletins Choike.org portal between the years 2005 and 2010 that address the issue of agrarian reform in Latin America, especially in Brazil. The issue is discussed by the media in general, however has more emphasis between the means of alternative journalism. For Choike.org portal, agrarian reform this intrinsically linked to social development. Therefore, this analysis seeks to highlight the role of new technologies as an important tool to aid discussion of the issue in the media as having specific focus to the issue of land reform
