EXTRACT (SEE PDF FOR FULL ABSTRACT): In this study we use ocean and atmosphere datasets from observations and from an ocean general circulation model integration to examine decadal time scale variability that is centered in the Pacific basin. We know that decadal variability is likely to have a strong expression in the Pacific basin; for example, a marked "shift" of cool season climate in the mid-1970s introduced major changes in Pacific SST and atmospheric circulation, along with many other physical and biological properties.

Algorithms are presented for detection and tracking of multiple clusters of co-ordinated targets. Based on a Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling mechanization, the new algorithms maintain a discrete approximation of the filtering density of the clusters' state. The filters' tracking efficiency is enhanced by incorporating various sampling improvement strategies into the basic Metropolis-Hastings scheme. Thus, an evolutionary stage consisting of two primary steps is introduced: 1) producing a population of different chain realizations, and 2) exchanging genetic material between samples in this population. The performance of the resulting evolutionary filtering algorithms is demonstrated in two different settings. In the first, both group and target properties are estimated whereas in the second, which consists of a very large number of targets, only the clustering structure is maintained. © 2009 IFAC.

一种实验动物行为和电生理信号的同步记录系统,属于神经生物学实验装置。该记录系统包括视频采集卡(3)、摄像机(4)、AD采样板(5)、电生理信号放大器(6)、微电极(7)、及其程序存储器中存有视频与电生理信号同步采集程序(1)的计算机(2)。本发明通过编写的相关程序保存视频和电生理数据,在数据回放过程中将电生理数据与动物行为相对应并保持高度的同步。具有视频采集与电生理信号的采集合二为一;提供多种视频压缩方式;多个通道、多种采样频率的电生理数据采样率和1-30帧/秒的视频采样率;提供视频逐帧查找的方式;可以输出高度精确时间范围的电生理数据与动物行为的同步,最高可精确到单独输出与单帧图像对应的数据等优点。

采用不连续垂直板聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳技术,对河曲藏獒和青海藏獒2个群体86只犬的9个结构基因座(Tf、Po、Es-1、Es-2、Sα2、Hb、Alb、Pr、Amy)的遗传变异情况进行了检测,探讨了2个藏獒群体的遗传结构和遗传分化。结果表明,河曲藏獒群体内遗传变异较青海藏獒丰富,而2个藏獒群体间的遗传分化程度很低(GST=0.018 7);较大的基因流(Nm=14.543 7)是2个藏獒不同地理群体间遗传分化水平低的主要原因。

Fish is crucial to food and nutrition security in Solomon Islands, and demand is expected to increase due to a growing population. However, it is projected that current capture fisheries production will not meet this growing demand. Aquaculture has the potential to mitigate the capture fishery shortfall, and the Government of Solomon Islands is prioritizing aquaculture as a solution to meet future food and income needs. Aquaculture in Solomon Islands is still in early development. Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus) is farmed for household consumption, but its prolific reproductive rate and resulting slow growth limit its potential as a commercial aquaculture species. More productive fish species that are not indigenous to Solomon Islands but are successfully farmed overseas could be introduced; however, such a decision needs to take into account the potential ecological or social impacts. For land-based pond aquaculture, the only indigenous species that has been farmed extensively elsewhere is milkfish (Chanos chanos). This report presents a feasibility assessment for milkfish farming in Solomon Islands. It synthesizes the current knowledge about milkfish farming and presents results of a 4-year study on the potential for milkfish aquaculture in Solomon Islands.

通过室内培养和盆栽试验,研究了土壤添加锗(Ge)对黄棕壤过氧化氢酶、脱氢酶、脲酶、碱性磷酸酶、转化酶的生态毒理效应。结果表明,在土壤Ge含量2~200 mg kg-1范围,土壤Ge对脱氢酶、碱性磷酸酶、转化酶活性抑制作用不明显。土壤Ge对土壤过氧化氢酶和脲酶活性有明显抑制作用,脲酶受Ge的抑制作用最强。土壤Ge含量与脲酶活性之间具有显著负相关,脲酶抑制率可作为Ge生态风险评价的一项生物指示物。

简要综述了藻类生物技术在水污染生态毒理学和污水生物净化方面的研究成果及应用实例,同时对其研究前景进行了探讨。应用藻类生物检测技术对重金属、农药、有机污染物、有毒有害废弃物等的毒性评价结果证明,一些二价重金属阳离子对藻类的毒性顺序大致为Hg~(2+),Cd~(2+),Cu~(2+),Ni~(2+)和 Zn~(2+);酚类、酯类和芳烃类有机污染物对藻类生长的抑制作用十分显著;农药对藻类的毒害作用主要通过破坏藻类生物膜的结构和功能而抑制藻类的光合作用、呼吸作用和固氮作用。有关藻类污水处理的研究资料显示,阳光的强
