Role-playing como estratégia facilitadora da análise funcional em contexto clínico

In behavioral therapy several techniques are used, among them the role-playing and functional analysis. Role-playing is feasible to model relevant behaviors while functional analysis is used for diagnostic evaluation and to produce self-knowledge. However, some clinical problems have characteristics that hinder the creation of self-knowledge, without which the client may not develop the modeling of alternative repertoires. This study aims to illustrate the combination of role-playing and functional analysis as a procedure to facilitate the development of self-awareness in clients with deficits in discrimination of functional relations and interpersonal difficulties. A session was selected from a total of 12 group meetings. The main result was the increase of self-revelations and discrimination of functional relationships by customers. It is concluded that the role-playing can be an environment to teach the client to describe functional relations and produce self-knowledge when facing interpersonal problems and difficulties on the discrimination of the actual contingencies in place.

Contribuições à análise de qualidade do jornalismo na comunicação pública digital

Scientific research has shown remarkable advances in the formulation of criteria for assessing the quality of journalism practiced in the commercial media and public broadcasting, comprising aspects such as management models, business principles, parameters to the assessment of results and exercise of social responsibility. However, there are fewer investigations on the practice of journalism in digital public communication formats explored by government web portals. The contribution of this paper lies in a proposal of elements for the construction of parameters for evaluating the quality of journalism in the digital public communication. The proposal is inspired by criteria for evaluating the quality of commercial media and public broadcasting and suggests means for its application in the journalism practiced in the context of government web portals.

This article analyzes the representation made by Veja magazine about american actress Angelina Jolie about the news about her preventive double mastectomy wich she was submitted. Based on the reflections of Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari on discourse analysis this article does not cramp about the contributions of linguistics. These reflections contribute to the understanding of this fact within the media landscape to control and discipline the body.

his article is the result of an empirical research on the technology and market development resulting from the deployment of Digital TV in Brazil. Two aspects were selected to discuss the proposed question: the economic and political motivations that led to the digitization of broadcast TV in Brazil and the preliminary analysis of the effects on popularization of cyberculture in the Brazilian audiovisual scenario, changes can be observed in the production, dissemination and enjoyment of audiovisual content. For the development of the analysis the following theoretical and analytical tools were used: Theory Empirical Approach (Wolf, 1987), the Cultural Studies (Zallo, 1988; 1992), the digitalization media process (Lemos), the transition from television to cyberculture studies (Manovich, 2005) and (Fechine, 2013).

Uma proposta de demarcação da análise descritiva do comportamento ordinal no contexto da literatura operante

A portion of operant literature supports significant production of knowledge about problem solving, observation response and contingency relations between responses with different probabilities of occurrence (Premack Principle). This study investigated possible convergences between a descriptive analysis of ordinal behavior and such portion of the operant literature. Conceptual and methodological analysis of publications have highlighted the relevance of the sequence of events functionally related to the characterization of the production of knowledge about problem solving, observation response and the Premack Principle enabling approaches between programs of research on complex behavioral repertoires as well as expansions in research strategies concerning ordinal responding.

A cidade e o sanduíche: análise da capa do primeiro exemplar da revista Traço (1987)

This paper conducts an analysis of the cover of the first issue of Trace magazine, conceived and edited by a group of graphic artists from Bauru (SP) published in November 1987 from the study proposed by Donald Norman (2008) especially through the visceral, behavioral and reflective approaches. This is a critical exercise, based on the study, of the use and application of the theory of Norman, which focuses on the development and focusing the scope of graphic design.

Internet e democracia: a qualidade da informação sobre políticas públicas de cultura em portais de governo

Public communication comprises the dissemination of information on the various aspects of public management, with transparency and accountability, including the use of the existing technological resources. Particularly in the field of cultural policies, the right to information must be exercised as a contribution to political participation and economic expansion. This paper presents the results of research that was investigated, through analysis of the content under thirteen categories of evaluation, of the quality of information on cultural policies in web portals of the different spheres of government in Brazil. The results show the lack of information on the processes of development and implementation of policies in that field.

Transtorno de estresse pós-traumático e terapia comportamental: um estudo de caso

O presente artigo descreve o caso de uma paciente vítima de abuso sexual na infância que desenvolveu um quadro de Transtorno de Estresse Pós-Traumático (TEPT). Questões relacionadas a abuso sexual, caracterís-ticas do TEPT e formas de tratamento são discutidas. A intervenção foi conduzida na perspectiva da Análise do Comportamento, tendo como foco as queixas da cliente relacionadas ao transtorno, bem como outras demandas, tais como relacionamento com a mãe e a irmã, dificuldades de estudo (faculdade) e aumento de peso. Procurou-se através da intervenção conscientizar a cliente sobre o transtorno e seu tratamento (Psicoeducação), promovendo autoconhecimento, habilidades sociais, refletindo sentimentos e em paralelo foi trabalhada a dificuldade de estudo e o aumento de peso. Como medidas avaliativas da intervenção (pré/pós-teste) foram utilizados instrumentos para rastreamento de TEPT e comorbidades. Conclui-se que a inter-venção foi efetiva para o desaparecimento dos sintomas característicos de TEPT, bem como para a promoção de repertórios relacionados à queixa da cliente.
