鄂尔多斯高原位于中国北方敏感的生态过渡带,水分往往是制约该区域内植物生存、生长和生态系统结构与功能的最主要的限制因子。境内分布大面积的沙地,沙地天然植被以油蒿(Artemisia ordosica)灌丛为主,是重要的沙地牧场。油蒿在新固定沙地上和半流动沙地上长势良好,随着沙地的固定、地表土壤结皮的形成,生长变差,呈现出衰败的迹象。这种现象被认为是由于沙地土壤水分状况改变而驱动的自发演替。沙地土壤水分状况通常与降水量直接相关,降水格局影响植物根系层土壤水分的补充,植被、土壤结构及地表结皮、微地形等其它生物和非生物因素也会引起土壤水分在时间和空间上的再分配。降水只有克服植被和土壤表层的截留与直接蒸发,并下渗到根系层土壤中,才能有效地补充为土壤水分,进而为植物利用。因此,小雨量的降雨往往对土壤水分的补充,特别是对油蒿根系层土壤水分的补充效果有限。在该地区特定自然条件下,单次降雨雨量多大才能有效地补充沙地油蒿群落的土壤水分?在特定降雨格局下,一年内补充到土壤中且能被植物生长利用的有效降雨量究竟是多少?这些都直接影响土壤水分状况和群落的稳定以及长期演替。 为了解决以上两个问题,借助涡度相关技术对鄂尔多斯高原库布齐沙漠油蒿群落的蒸散过程及土壤水分状况进行观测,配合以地面植物群落、土壤物理特性调查,综合考虑生态系统水文平衡的各个环节,对沙地土壤水分状况以及降雨格局对土壤水分的补充进行了研究。 结果表明,2006年全年降水总量为229.4 mm,年蒸散量281.4 mm,降雨、蒸散主要集中在5~10月。5~10月间,降雨29次,总降雨量223.2 mm,各次降雨量、降雨历时、降雨强度变异较大。5.0 mm以下降雨16次,累计降雨量14.0 mm,5.0 mm以上降雨对总降雨量贡献大。雨后被植被和地表截留直接蒸发的水分和的有效降雨受降雨特性及其他气象条件共同影响,通常5.0 mm以上降雨能有效补充到油蒿根系层土壤,有效降雨量累计153.9 mm,降雨效率约68.9%。

The internal structure of rain falls in terms of rain rate during various instances of time can be determined by measuring rain amounts received during very short intervals of time. A system that can record the intensity of rain fall at every minute has been used for this study.

Preliminary investigations on the effect of irradiation on commercially important fish and shell fish like silver pomfret, Bombay duck and prawns were conducted. Irradiated samples had an extended storage life compared to their respective controls even though yellowish or brownish discoloration occurred earlier in irradiated fish. Irradiation enhanced the rate of drip formation. Brine treatment prior to irradiation retarded this rate. Pre-blanching was found to further extend the storage life of irradiated fish.

Resting metabolism in Indian major carp, Catla catla Ham. fingerlings were investigated. For this purpose a water recirculatory system in the laboratory was used. The metabolic energy losses were determined by the indirect method of oxygen consumption by the fish and were then multiplied by an oxycalorific coefficient (Q-ox). Five metabolism chambers in the experimental system were used where there were two same treatment runs in quadruplicate of mean total weight of fish fingerlings of 109.5, 110.4, 112.8 and 111.6g/chamber. The water temperature in the system was 28±0.5°C. The mean metabolic rate in the replicates showed no significant variation (p>0.05) and was found to be 151.66, 153.91, 150.25, 152.74 mgO-2/kg/h respectively. This showed an equivalent energy loss 5.40, 5.52, 5.51 and 5.56 KJ/chamber/day (35.60, 35.92, 36.67 and 36.40 KJ/kg/day) respectively. Pond culture trials of Lates calcarifer (Bloch) were initiated in the ponds of Kharland Research Station, Panvel, from 1985 up to 1989 by adopting varying methods of inputs of commonly available organic substances comprising de-oiled cake of groundnut, rice bran and raw cattle dung. Although provision of zooplankton generated under phased fertilisation technique resulted in considerable yield level, subsequent trials in combination with direct feed methods gave higher yield. Trials during 1990-91 adopting similar feed input techniques were continued but by stocking the seed of both Lates and Oreochromis mossambicus with yield percentage around 72.23 for Lates and 27.73 for Oreochromis. Trials were further continued during next three years. In relation to the organic input levels the yields rate for seven months period was in the range of 119.4 kg/ha to 250.4 kg/ha for Lates. In case of Oreochromis the yield rate varied between 28.5 to 153.32 kg/ha indicating the influence of differential stocking rates and size of the seed of two species.

以成熟果实中不同葡萄糖/果糖(G/F)类型的6个桃品种(G/F≈1品种:‘冈山白’、‘山一白桃’和‘燕红’;高G/F品种:‘张黄7号’、‘龙246’和‘临白7号’)为试材,采用高效液相色谱法测定果实发育期果实和叶片中可溶性糖含量,并在盛花后74 d或101 d测定了‘冈山白’、‘山一白桃’、‘张黄 7号’和‘龙 246’新梢韧皮部中可溶性糖的含量;测定了果实发育过程中‘山一白桃’和‘临白7号’果实中的可溶性糖和淀粉代谢相关酶的活性。研究成熟果实中不同G/F类型桃果实内G/F差异的部位和时期;分析桃果实内G/F差异的可溶性糖代谢调控机理。 成熟果实中不同G/F类型桃果实中均以蔗糖作为主要碳水化合物积累形式,花后43–85 d蔗糖含量很低,随后持续快速积累直至果实成熟;花后43–85 d山梨醇有升高趋势,在果实成熟前40 d左右迅速降低;葡萄糖和果糖含量在果实发育早期较高,之后逐渐降低;但两类不同G/F桃在整个果实发育过程中G/F值与果实成熟时相似。叶片中贮藏的可溶性糖主要是蔗糖和山梨醇,在果实整个发育期间,G/F≈1品种叶片中G/F约1-3,而高G/F品种叶片中G/F约为2-7。G/F≈1品种‘冈山白’和‘山一白桃’与高G/F品种‘张黄 7号’和‘龙 246’韧皮部中山梨醇占总可溶性糖47-63%,显著高于蔗糖、葡萄糖和果糖的含量,G/F为0.8-0.91,且两类不同G/F桃品种间G/F值不存在显著差异。 成熟果实中G/F≈1类型的‘山一白桃’和高G/F值类型的‘临白7号’整个果实发育过程中,葡萄糖、山梨醇和淀粉的含量在这两个品种间一般没有明显差异;‘山一白桃’果实中的果糖含量显著高于‘临白7号’果实中的果糖;果实最后迅速生长期,‘山一白桃’果实中的蔗糖明显高于‘临白7号’。‘山一白桃’和‘临白7号’果实中的NAD+依赖型山梨醇脱氢酶(NAD+-SDH)活性低,两者有相似的变化趋势,一般无显著差异。‘临白7号’果实中的NADP+依赖型山梨醇脱氢酶(NADP+-SDH)和山梨醇氧化酶(SOX)活性一直高于‘山一白桃’,两者NADP+-SDH和SOX的活性分别在花后93-123 d和花后43-93 d有显著差异。‘临白7号’果实中的果糖激酶(FK)活性一般高于‘山一白桃’。花后43-93 d,‘临白7号’果实中的磷酸蔗糖合成酶(SPS)和蔗糖合成酶(SS)活性一般显著‘山一白桃’。果实最后迅速生长期,蔗糖快速积累,葡萄糖、果糖、山梨醇和淀粉含量迅速降低,同时伴随有SPS和SS活性的迅速升高。在整个果实发育过程中,两个品种果实中的淀粉酶活性较高,其果实中的淀粉含量和淀粉酶活性都有明显的下降趋势。 研究结果表明,整个果实发育过程中桃果实中均存在G/F≈1和高G/F现象,光合产物在韧皮部的运输对桃果实的G/F没有显著的影响,果实中G/F的差异主要由于果实内糖代谢差异所导致。‘临白7号’果实中山梨醇向果糖方向的转化能力与‘山一白桃’一般没有显著差异,由于不同时期较高的NADP+-SDH和SOX活性,使得山梨醇向葡萄糖方向的转化能力明显高于‘山一白桃’,同时,‘临白7号’果实中的FK活性一般高于‘山一白桃’,因此导致‘临白7号’果实中G/F高于‘山一白桃’。

The Trichoptera collected in Sri Lanka by the Austrian Indo-Pacific expedition in autumn and winter 1970 (larvae and adults) are evaluated systematically and ecologically. The following new species are described: Pseudoneureclipsis starmuehlneri, P. maliboda (Polycentropodidae), Oecetis belihuloya (Leptoceridae), and Helcopsyche sri lanka (Helicopsychidae). Helicopsyche ceylanica Brauer 1866 is re-described. Several types of larvae and cases of Hydropsyche (Hydropsychidae), Ceylanopsyche (Sericostomatidae) and Helicopsyche are described or at least roughly characterised. According to the larval characters the genus Ceylanopsyche seems to belong to Sericostomatidae s. str.

Although it is known enough of the biology of shallow+ waters shrimps, knowledge of the deep-waters shrimp is still limited. This is due to the fact that: these resources are relatively new and the study of deep waters species is more difficult and expensive. Some biological informations on the main species of shrimp in depth of Mozambique have been collected during investigation cruises (Sports et al., Pacule, 1987) and through sampling carried out on board commercial vessels (DDR fleet) between 1983 and 1986.

Fisheries continue to be important in the national economy, especially as an export commodity. Fish exports increased from 15,876 tonnes valued at 34.4 million US$ in 2000 to 28,153 tonnes valued at 79.0 million US$ in 2001. Consequently information for sustainable exploitation and management of fish stocks is a priority. In order to fulfill this requirement, FIRRI has been implementing two research projects. The first project focuses on sustaining and increasing capture fisheries production through management of fish stocks, biodiversity and environment of aquatic systems. The second project focuses on increasing fish production through improved fry production and pond management and feeding of cultured species.

本研究建立了沉积物中氯化石蜡(CPs)的分析方法,对莱州湾和该区域主要河流的表层沉积物中多氯萘(PCNs),多溴联苯醚(PBDEs)和CPs进行了分析,获得了他们在研究区域的含量水平、空间分布和单体分布模式,并初步探讨了它们在环境中的来源和迁移规律,估算了这三类污染物在莱州湾表层沉积物中的储量,初步评估了莱州湾沿岸的工业排放与人类活动对海洋生态环境的影响。 莱州湾海洋和河流沉积物PCNs的含量分别为65-470 pg/g dw,52-5100 pg/g dw,平均值分别为260 pg/g dw,1100 pg/g dw。莱州湾沉积物中PCNs的含量较低,与发达国家的背景值相当,主要河流沉积物与其他地区的近海、海湾、湖泊沉积物的含量相当。该区域的PCNs主要以5-Cl和6-Cl为主,为工业来源,主要受化工行业的影响。石化工厂热过程产生的低氯组分可能也是该区域PCNs的一个重要来源。莱州湾的PCNs主要来自水体颗粒的输入,而大气沉降来源的贡献不明显。 河流沉积物ΣPBDEs(不包括BDE-209)的含量分别为0.01- 53 ng/g dw,BDE-209的含量为0.74- 280 ng/g dw,平均值分别为4.4 ng/g dw,51 ng/g dw。在组成上,BDE-209占绝对优势,比低溴代BDEs高1-2个数量级,这是由于我国市场上十溴联苯醚是最主要的溴代阻燃剂。ΣPBDEs与亚洲一些地区含量相当,比北美和欧洲一些地区要低;BDE-209含量含量高出北美和欧洲一些地区,处于较高的水平。河流沉积物中BDE-47与-99,BDE-183与-153、-154具有很好的相关性,而且这几种单体质量分数相当,说明莱州湾区域存在五溴和八溴两种工业BDE阻燃剂来源。海洋沉积物中ΣPBDEs的含量为nd- 0.66 ng/g dw,平均值为0.32 ng/g dw,处于较低水平,BDE-209的含量为0.66- 12 ng/g dw,平均值为5.1 ng/g dw,与欧美一些地区相当,主要来自水体颗粒的输入。 本研究用电子捕获低分辨质谱(ECNI-LRMS)建立了沉积物中CPs的分析方法。该方法基于ECNI质谱对SCCP的响应与其氯含量在一定范围内呈线性关系的特性,建立SCCP的总响应因子与氯含量的工作曲线,从而建立定量方法。重点改进了传统方法中由于SCCP标准品和样品中氯含量不同所造成的响应因子的差别,不再要求标准品的含氯量与样品一致,从而提高了SCCP的分析效率与方法准确性。实验发现,当SCCP的实际氯含量在51%-63%之间时,二者线性关系良好(r2>0.96)。用不同氯含量的标准参考品测试,误差为8%-43%。仪器检测限和方法检测限分别为25-400 μg/L,20 ng/g。类似地,建立了中链氯化石蜡(MCCP)的分析方法,工作曲线的实际氯含量范围为44-57%,仪器检测限40-600 μg/L,方法检测限为6 ng/g。通过对比样品与标准品的峰形特征,严格控制保留时间来辨别SCCP与MCCP,实验证明由于二者叠加导致的误差:SCCP为8%,MCCP为14%,总体来说,用该方法得到的CPs数据是可靠的。本文所使用的净化方法能实现CPs与大部分有机氯化合物的分离。 用该方法对莱州湾的沉积物的CPs进行定量,除了两个河流样品MCCP的计算含氯量低于工作曲线以外,其他样品的SCCP和MCCP的计算氯含量都在工作曲线的范围之内。河流沉积物中SCCP和MCCP的含量分别为1-1200 ng/g dw,1-3300 ng/g dw,MCCP/SCCP均值为1.2;含量分布变化较大,一些河段受到工业排放的影响,CPs浓度高出均值1-2个数量级,MCCP/SCCP值也显著高出平均值。莱州湾区域大部分河流的CPs含量与欧洲、北美和日本一些地区相当,而一些受到点源污染的河段则处于较高的水平。河流中SCCP的质量分布在不同的站位不一样,在受到点源影响的样品中,C13的质量分数明显增大,占优势地位,可能是由MCCP携带的SCCP组分所致。MCCP的质量分布在河流和海洋中没有区别,都是C14占绝对优势。从氯取代的组分来讲,所有样品都是以6-8氯取代为主。海洋沉积物中SCCP和MCCP的含量分别为3-18 ng/g dw,1-13 ng/g dw, MCCP/SCCP均值为0.68,显著低于河流沉积物;SCCP的质量分布较为一致,都是以C10和C11为主。研究发现莱州湾区域SCCP与MCCP来源相似,但迁移规律有的不同。海洋环境中的MCCP可能主要来自水体颗粒的输入,而溶解态输入也是海洋环境中SCCP的重要来源。 对这三类污染物在莱州湾表层沉积物中的储量估算得到PCNs、ΣPBDEs、BDE-209、SCCP和MCCP在莱州湾表层0-10 cm沉积物中的储量分别为0.20t,0.25t,3.95t,6.52t,4.30t。拥有10%的渤海海域面积的莱州湾ΣPBDEs和BDE-209的储量分别占渤海海区总量的18-23%,18-32%,远远超过渤海的平均值。

Traditionally tubers of cyperus (Cyperus rotundus) and its extracts have been used for alluring fish during harvesting in India. An experiment was conducted to evaluate its feeding stimulatory activity and effect on the growth of a commercially important freshwater fish, Cirrhinus mrigala. Three isonitrogenous and isocaloric formulated diets viz. plant ingredient based control and control supplemented with cyperus tuber (CS) at 1% and 5% levels were fed to the fingerlings of mrigal, C. mrigala (2.68+0.20 g) for a period of 45 days. The growth performance and the activity of metabolic enzymes, aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), in liver, gill and muscle tissues of mrigal were studied during every 15 days interval. Highest relative growth (72.28%) was obtained in the mrigal fed with the diet containing 5% cyperus (5% CS), while the relative growths were 66.18% and 43.40% for the fish fed with the 1% CS diet and control respectively. The activities of AST and ALT were significantly higher (p<0.01) in both 1% and 5% CS diets as compared to the control in all the tissues studied. Higher aminotransferase activities were observed in the tissues of 5% CS group than in those of 1% CS group throughout the experimental period. The observed higher enzymatic activity was concomitant with the higher growth rate in fish. The results suggested that cyperus tuber supplementation increased feed palatability and growth.
