This study aimed to analyze how the families of cancer patients perceived the treatment provided at a specialist public outpatient clinic, using Bardin's method of Content Analysis. Seven families consisting of fourteen family members were interviewed. They underlined doctor-patient relationship, judging it to be impersonal and superficial, resulting in a lack of security and trust. Families try to to participate but feel undervalued and excluded from the care. Necessary information that they are not given is sought in the media, while comfort is achieved through religious or spiritual practices. Health care training must encourage professionals to view the family as a unit of care, aligning training to different modes of health care.

O Espectador como Narciso, o Teatro como Espelho: Considerações sobre as Peças 'Amor no Espelho', de Giovan Battista Andreini, e 'Narciso', de Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Theatre plays as Amor nello specchio, written by Giovan Battista Andreini in 1622, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Narcisse (1752), thematize the condition of a spectator submitted to the established morality or inserted in a determinate political structure. Thus, here the myth of Narcissus and the theme of mirroring do not restrict themselves to the realm of individualized psyche.

A cigarra e a formiga: um recurso pedagógico para a organização do trabalho com o desenvolvimento moral

The problem addressed in this undergraduate thesis is whether the different endings of the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper permits the educator to organize from the expiatory approval to the reciprocity approval the pedagogic procedure of evolving processes, as theorized in the moral development of Jean Piaget. We used six versions of the fable, three of which ends in a expiatory way and three in the reciprocity. We discussed the data from a Piagetian theoretical standpoint and presented some strategies for the educator to pursue the development of infantile morality in the classroom in what concerns the qualitative evolution of the concept of justice

Infância, família e escola: análise dos significados da Infância e dos Direitos da Criança

This study aimed at analyzing the meanings of Children and Child Rights awarded by the kindergarten children and their educators, parents and teacher. Interest in the subject arose from the participation of the University Extension Project, conducted at the Department of Education, UNESP, Bauru, called The Rights of the Child: ECA in school. Since then, the question arose: to what extent we have visibility of meanings that educators and the child has on the Rights of the Child relating to the specifics of childhood? The research followed the tenets of qualitative research, methodological procedures and adopting the observation in a classroom from kindergarten (K II), semi-structured interview through leisure moments, with the class of aged five years and a questionnaire for family and teacher. The research adopted as reference material, studies of the area of Sociology of Childhood, History of Childhood, Public Policy, Legislation Related to the theme, and an overview of psychogenic to talk about the morality of children. The results showed that parents and caregivers understand childhood as a stage of child development, marked by jokes and fancies, in which the family and the school has an important role in this process. In what concerns the children's rights, there are contradictions in the legal aspects and the situation of children today. The results showed that children's childhood is characterized by recreational activities, and adults are responsible for caring for them. And it comes on the Rights of the Child noted that there is a confusion between rights and duties because they are in a phase of moral heteronomy. The findings indicate the need for wide dissemination on the Statute of Children and Adolescents, especially in preschools in line with families to practice it a new look at childhood, conceiving children as subjects... A construção da autonomia numa perspectiva piagetiana: contribuições para a Educação Infantil

This paper aims at discussion the construction of autonomy of cognitive development and child morality, according to the Piagetian approach view of the influence of socio-moral classroom in kindergarten. It is known that education is a very important part of participation in relation to the development of autonomy by the child, especially when it comes to kindergarten who becomes responsible for performing the initial encouragement of this ability, respecting the phase cognitive development in which the child is. We focus, therefore, the need for education and teaching activities that enable this construction offering little opportunity to exercise and build their first signs of autonomy. For their achievement, in addition to literature, which has been supported by theoretical studies of Jean Piaget, we chose a field research where we look, from the interview and observation, investigate the socio-moral environment of a room class of a school Kindergarten, highlighting the important opportunities for the exercise of autonomy for the children, amid the routine of the group. The interview was focused on the pursuit of basic knowledge of the educator on the subject, as well as what would be aware of the role of preschool in the process of moral development and about their own role as an educator this mode of education. Since the remark was directed at the teacher's procedures against the encouragement of social and moral ability, focusing mainly on interpersonal relationships in the classroom. Our classroom has proved to be a cooperative environment and therefore we emphasize the importance of the teacher's conduct that permeated the day-to-day classroom and encouraged to start building this skill by the student. The main objective of this study therefore was to investigate the possibilities and outcomes that have a school experience for the development of autonomy for children

Concepções de graduandos de pedagoaia sobre sua formação ética e a relação com seu trabalho pedagógico

The Psychology of Morality is an area that has to be strengthened in the academic environment for social, political and scientific. The research of Jean Piaget (1932) on the development of moral judgments are the main sources for this area of knowledge, followed by studies of Lawrence Kohlberg (1981), Jose Maria Puig (1998) and others. This project intends to investigate and analyze the conception of the ethical training of graduate students of Pedagogy, Unesp, Campus Bauru, in order to see how these conceive their ethical, what importance they give to the subject and how to relate such training to the work that will develop with their students. Some research has shown a total lack of respect for the theories and concepts related to the issue by presenting a framework of moral indifference since graduation, space in which there is discussion about major educational theories. Through the proposed research is to analyze whether such a deficiency exists and educate future educators of the fundamental importance of its role in moral education and ethics of their students

As possíveis relações entre desenvolvimento moral e uso de crack por adolescentes

The dependency of psychoactive substances whether licit or illicit, among adolescents is a topic that has aroused much discussion today. One of the psychoactive substance that has caught the attention of authorities and experts, its potential dependence, increasing the number of addicts and speed with which triggers the human degeneration is the crack (a derivative of cocaine - Erythroxylon coca), used via the smoked administration. Understanding the phenomenon of increasing their use requires an analysis of the concepts of addiction throughout history, current research encompassing scientific findings in epidemiology and statistics involving several types of pharmacological substances, and especially the analysis of data related specifically to crack the focus of our theme. In order to contribute to ongoing discussions and offer possible alternatives for effective intervention, especially in schools, we conducted a survey that sought to find evidence of a possible relationship between crack use and moral reasoning. Since our work specifically theoretical nature, we use to reach our goals, assumptions, two researchers in the concept of human morality: Jean Piaget (1994) and Lawrence Kohlberg (1992) both traveling within the proposed cognitive-evolutionary human development. For an understanding of the proposals of these two researchers, we use research to (Lepre, 2005), as guiding thesis of this work. The results presented indicate that adolescents who use crack are very close to a level of moral reasoning pre-conventional and conventional, although it is important to state that more accurate results require further research on the subject, including those involving field research. Yet we can conclude that prevention must go through a dialogue that privileges the moral education as possible means of effective intervention against the use of crack, allowing the construction of autonomy... A poesia de Adélia Prado: expressão feminina do cotidiano e do sublime

This work aims to locate Adélia Prado’s poetry in the scenery of the contemporary Brazilian literature in order to comprehend some issues that are part of the manner how the poet constructs her poems and which may elucidate, through the lyric speaker, the relation of her poetry with the historical and cultural moment in which her work is placed. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to analyze Adélia Prado’s poetic construction by emphasizing the female voice of her lyric speaker and the superposition of elements from the semantic fields of the prosaic and the sublime, since we have identified these aspects as basic ones for the development of an interpretation on this poetry. This way, we have tried to comprehend the connection that the poet establishes between the material and the spiritual, the erotic and the religious, the immanent and the transcendent and we have concluded that, for the poet, everything can be subject to poetry. For this work, we used the volume Poesia reunida (1995) for it provides a wider view over Adélia Prado’s poetry
