We derive a class of inequalities for detecting entanglement in the mixed SU(2) and SU(1, 1) systems based on the Schrodinger-Robertson indeterminacy relations in conjugation with the partial transposition. These inequalities are in general stronger than those based on the usual Heisenberg uncertainty relations for detecting entanglement. Furthermore, based on the complete reduction from SU(2) and SU(1,1) systems to bosonic systems, we derive some entanglement conditions for two-mode systems. We also use the partial reduction to obtain some inequalities in the mixed SU(2) (or SU(1, 1)) and bosonic systems.

A method of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) was employed to develop a rapid and simple detection system for porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). The amplification could be finished in 60 min under isothermal condition at 64 degrees C by employing a set of four primers targeting the cap gene of PCV2. The LAMP assay showed higher sensitivity than the conventional PCR, with a detection limit of five copies per tube of purified PCV2 genomic DNA. No cross-reactivity was observed from the samples of other related viruses including porcine circovirus type 1 (PCV1), porcine parvovirus (PPV), porcine pseudorabies virus (PRV) and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV). The detection rate of PCV2 LAMP for 86 clinical samples was 96.5% and appeared greater than that of the PCR method. The LAMP assay reported can provide a rapid yet simple test of PCV2 suitable for laboratory diagnosis and pen-side detection due to ease of operation and the requirement of only a regular water bath or heat block for the reaction. Using a shell model which is capable of describing the spectra of upper g(9/2)-shell nuclei close to the N = Z line, we study the structure of two isomeric states 7(+) and 21(+) in the odd-odd N = Z nucleus Ag-94. It is found that both isomeric states exhibit a large collectivity. The 7(+) state is oblately deformed, and is suggested to be a shape isomer in nature. The 21(+) state becomes isomeric because of level inversion of the 19(+) and 21(+) states due to core excitations across the N = Z = 50 shell gap. Calculation of spectroscopic quadrupole moment indicates clearly an enhancement in these states due to the core excitations. However, the present shell model calculation that produces the 19(+)-21(+) level inversion cannot accept the large-deformation picture of Mukha et al.

We investigate the effect of microscopic three-body forces on the P-3 F-2 neutron superfluidity in neutron matter, beta-stable neutron star matter, and neutron stars by using the BCS theory and the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approach. We adopt the Argonne V18 potential supplemented with a microscopic three-body force as the realistic nucleon-nucleon interaction. We have concentrated on studying the three-body force effect on the P-3 F-2 neutron pairing gap. It is found that the three-body force effect considerably enhances the P-3 F-2 neutron superfluidity in neutron star matter and neutron stars.

The L-shell ionization processes of a Ne gas target associated with single-electron capture by bombardment of Cq+ and Oq+ (q=2,3) are investigated using the projectile-recoil-ion coincidence method in the energy range from 80 to 400 keV/u (v(p)=1.8-4 a.u.). The cross-section ratios (R-k1) of k-fold ionization to single capture are compared with the results for He2+-Ne collisions by Dubois [Phys. Rev. A 36, 2585 (1987)]. All the velocity dependences are quite similar. The ratios increase as the projectile energy increases in the lower-energy region, reach the maxima for projectile energies around E-max=160q(1/2) keV/u, and then decrease at higher energies. These results qualitatively agree with our calculations in terms of the Bohr-Lindhard model within the independent-electron approximation.

We present the first measurements of identified hadron production, azimuthal anisotropy, and pion interferometry from Au + Au collisions below the nominal injection energy at the BNL Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) facility. The data were collected using the large acceptance solenoidal tracker at RHIC (STAR) detector at root s(NN) = 9.2 GeV from a test run of the collider in the year 2008. Midrapidity results on multiplicity density dN/dy in rapidity y, average transverse momentum < p(T)>, particle ratios, elliptic flow, and Hanbury-Brown-Twiss (HBT) radii are consistent with the corresponding results at similar root s(NN) from fixed-target experiments. Directed flow measurements are presented for both midrapidity and forward-rapidity regions. Furthermore the collision centrality dependence of identified particle dN/dy, < p(T)>, and particle ratios are discussed. These results also demonstrate that the capabilities of the STAR detector, although optimized for root s(NN) = 200 GeV, are suitable for the proposed QCD critical-point search and exploration of the QCD phase diagram at RHIC.
