This study is the result of theoretical reflections and analyses about the role of public relations professional in existing management of cultural diversity in organizations, arising from globalisation and glocalisation. This way, we analyze new perspectives for organizational communication, considering the cultural aspects of different audiences in an organization. Thus, the goal of this work is to show another look for this activity, in which prime respect and integration amid interculturality and enable new paths for public relations, acting as ' cultural Integrator ' in this scenario. For understanding these new interfaces, the study takes as its starting point an overview of roots that gave rise to this context, starting from the analysis of various aspects of globalisation and your reflexes and impacts on organizations, plus a contextualization of the organizational communication trajectory. Then the global and local culture is discussed, as well as the glocalisation and repercussions in organizations, which gave rise to a scenary of cultural diversity and possible conflicts of that context. From the particular analysis of work, are given the implications of this encounter of multiple cultures in organizations, in addition to being presented theories of intercultural communication in trying to manage and provide the dialogue and understanding between different cultures. Finally, this study deals with the possibilities of public relations practice in interculturality, showing paths to the mediation of various interests between organizations and their audiences in the sphere of glocalization, showing the activity of International/Global public relations. It also presents the possible involvement of public relations in the management of a communication on cultural diversity scenary, showing perspectives for this activity on the theory of excellence, in order to seek understanding and understanding even in the midst of diversity

Interferência do bullying no esporte de alto rendimento

Examine the phenomenon of bullying behavior that makes people teased, laughter, sarcasm, irony, among other types of attacks. This is not only physically, but with moral violence, emotional or psychological. When there is an effective intervention against bullying, all individuals in the group start to suffer with this situation, which can lead to psychological disorders, hampering the progress of relations as well as team sports, over a period of training and competition. This article analyzed a sample of athletes in order to find behaviors that characterize the extent of bullying and can see the consequences of it, as early drop out. Through the results it was concluded that the actions that characterize bullying are present in very high performance football and may even lead to drop out the sport. The ever more interconnected and competitive markets have contributed to the increase in the number of companies seeking mergers and acquisitions, as they undergo significant cultural dimensions that can influence the success of an organization. This study analyses how the process of change can happen, considering the importance of culture, the complexities of the internal public and the interaction between professionals, with the aid of Public Relations. The analysis is grounded on theoretical principles concerning intercultural communication and the role of the professional as a manager of communicational barriers. It also recommends the application of storytelling as an organizational strategy in order to mediate potentially conflicting changes that could be facilitated with the work of Public Relations

História natural do Bacurau-Chintã (Hydropsalis parvula): comportamento de forrageamento, migração e caracterização dos poleiros de pouso e vocalização. -

A família Caprimulgidae apresenta distribuição cosmopolita, porém as regiões mais quentes, como os neotrópicos, detêm a maior diversidade de espécies. Ocorrem em quase todos os tipos de hábitat. São aves basicamente insetívoras, de hábitos noturnos (maioria das espécies). Os conhecimentos a cerca desta família são, ainda, escassos. O bacurau-chintã (Hydropsalis parvula) pertence a esta família de aves e, do mesmo modo, pouco se sabe sobre sua biologia. O presente estudo teve o intuito de trazer novas informações sobre comportamento de forrageamento, uso de poleiros e a distribuição da espécie no Brasil. Os estudos de campo foram realizados durante o segundo semestre dos anos de 2011 a 2013, no período noturno, em uma área situada aos fundos do campus da UNESP de Rio Claro, SP. Os aspectos referentes à forrageamento e uso de poleiros foram anotados em planilhas de campo, sendo posteriormente compilados em planilhas eletrônicas e analisados em software de análises estatísticas. A distribuição da espécie foi estudada por meio da compilação de registros em meios eletrônicos (bases de dados e buscas online) referências bibliográficas e registros cedidos por terceiros. As datas de chegada e saída da espécie para a área de estudo foram registradas com o objetivo de identificar o período de permanência da mesma no local, já que a espécie é localmente migratória. Foram observados: 55 eventos de forrageamento, dos quais 45 foram considerados independentes e incluídos nas análises; e 58 eventos de uso de poleiro (todos incluídos nas análises). Foram compilados 767 registros da espécie, distribuídos por todos os estados brasileiros e um mapa de distribuição foi elaborado. Actitud de los docentes de las facultades de Odontologia Brasilenas ante los aspectos bioeticos, eticos y legales del tratamiento odontológico

The study consist on an analysis of attitude by professors of Brazilian Dental Schools before the aspects bioethical, ethic and legal dental treatment aspects. The data collect occurred by semi-structured questioners send by e-mail and correspondence. It was applied the content analysis, by categorical analysis technique, according to Bardin. About bioethical aspects, 94,6% cited that the decision of treatment should be realized between professional and patient, because it don t interfere on negative form (100%). Everybody consider important the interaction professional/patient, because it establishes the respect and mutual agreement between them (61,8%). Tangent at ethic aspects, 95,5% show all alternatives for determined case, even knowing that can lost patient, explaining on the technique and laical form to clear doubts(61,9%). About legal aspects, 82,4% allege that dental surgeon should treat his patient like consumer whereas offer techniques, materials and know through profession. And, like legal prove on occasional lawsuit, 57,1% mentioned that professional don t need of contract necessarily, but a good documentation about patient and e assigned by him. It concluded that these aspects should be teached always to Dentistry academics, whereas they re inherent at profession, to not stay vulnerable at future ethic, judges and other problems.

Notificação de violência contra criança: conhecimento e comportamento dos profissionais de saúde

Introduction: The violence against children and teenagers severely damages physical health and psychological development of their victims. Health professionals are in a strategic position to detect cases of assault and legally obliged to report such cases, even suspected. Objectives: This study aimed to assess the knowledge of health professionals who work in the National Health System (SUS) on reporting of violence against children and adolescents. Methods: We conducted interviews with 54 primary care team of four cities from the region of São José do Rio Preto. Results: Through the study could be seen that 92.6% of respondents suspected or witnessed violence against children exercising their profession in the SUS. About Order 1968/2001, 75.5% of practitioners claim ignoring it. 96.2% were not informed about completing the notification form of violence. 88.9% do not know about the existence of the same workplace. The association between obtaining information on work and the act of notification was significant (p = 0.0276). Conclusion: The professionals are still unaware of the legal issues related to notification. It is suggested that the training of them to deal with the bureaucratic side of the issue, once notify contributes to the delineation of the epidemiology of violence and consequent development of public policies
