La tecnología, el internet y sobre todo las redes sociales influyeron para que la sociedad civil por medio de imágenes, videos y mensajes lograra divulgar lo que estaba ocurriendo al interior de Egipto. Se pudo apreciar que las redes sociales actuaron como catalizador de las revueltas en el país.
