Educational practices, behavior problems and children's social skills have been more studied in family context than in school context. This study aimed to compare, from the verbal report, educational practices of regular and special teacher in relation to children's behavior, concerning groups differentiated by reference indication of behavior problems in the classroom by the teacher and sex of the children. This study surveyed fifteen teachers and twenty-eight students (6-9 years), who were grouped in regular teaching (n = 18, kindergarten, elementary) and especial teaching (n = 10). The assessment with teachers was proceeded by using a questionnaire (Q-RSH-Pr) and a semi-structured interview (RE-HSE-Pr). This research is the result of a senior research project and longed to verify if the ways of childs participation in orality in classroom and the literacy events related to reading would make possible to child construct a discursive relation with the writing. Besides it investigated the conception of 20 teachers from second year from primary school about orality and literacy and also identifies which theory purposes could be discerned in one of these teachers exercise. The methodology used was the qualitative approach, with exploratory- descriptive character, and based in system of references methodological of bibliographic research and collecting of facts research. The corpus of this research constituted in deflagrate element that stimulated the search for methodology answers which could clear the possible essence of set of problems evidenced. The results indicated that the ignorance of some basic conceptions that imbricate in teaching Portuguese language, principally in orality development, reading of writing by some individuals was alarming component parts, since many of them mediate the teachinglearning process of numberless individuals. Considering that orality and literacy play fundamental function in social interactions, this research has the intention to contribute for teachers continuous formation, just as help them in development of students linguistic competences, and elucidate them about the importance of literacy, besides to make public the more recently theoretical subsidies about this subject

Marcuses concept of technological rationality is still quite real because it allows for a critical analysis of our society. When applied to education it shows how our social practices, objectively organized with the help of technological devices, supercede themselves and create systemic consequences. This article analyzes some of these consequences for educational policies and forms of school management by investigating day-to-day occurences in a small school in the So Paulo countryside.

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investigao sobre práticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

No mundo globalizado vivenciamos o agravamento das questes sociais relacionadas s concepes do mercado neoliberal, do Estado mnimo, da privatizao dos servios pblicos e, as organizaes no-governamentais e o advento do chamado Terceiro Setor. Esta pesquisa contempla uma anlise do fenmeno religioso, referente insero pblica da Igreja por meio das práticas sociais institucionalizadas vinculadas as suas organizaes neste contexto social, na perspectiva de enfrentamento dos problemas sociais. No desenvolvimento da pesquisa utilizamos o mtodo histrico para descrever e analisar a insero pblica da Igreja Batista Independente no contexto brasileiro, a partir do estudo de documentos relacionados s primeiras iniciativas e o desenvolvimento das práticas sociais desta Igreja no contexto brasileiro. Com a descrio analtica deste fenmeno verifica-se a incidncia de práticas de transformao social, caracterizando-se como prxis social e, ainda, elementos que contribuem para o exerccio da cidadania esto no bojo das práticas sociais da Igreja. A pesquisa apresenta a anlise das práticas sociais da Igreja, na perspectiva da interdisciplinaridade, apontando elementos que influenciaram as transformaes sociais nos ltimos anos e relaciona a contribuio da prxis social para o exerccio da f cidad.(AU)
