Acesso à informação geográfica: reflexões sobre a importância das Infraestruturas de Dados Espaciais (IDE) nas políticas públicas

This article discusses the access to geographic information and its importance for the public policies formulation, reflecting on the implementation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure. The data view and the maps construction are useful for identifying needs and sponsoring public managers in decision making. The public policies implementation stages are optimized when the quantitative and qualitative information are integrated to the spatial phenomena relations. The improvement in the use of geographic information for decision making will be achieved when spatial data are efficiently generated in spatial data infrastructures.

Implementação de um sistema de informação para cartas de sensibilidade ambiental a derrames de óleo e elaboração de mapas de vulnerabilidade ambiental a derrames de óleo para o município de Caraguatatuba-SP

Fossil fuels are the main energy sources of the modern industrial age. Very sophisticated processes have been developed to extract these resources, due to increased demand on a global scale, as the extraction of oil. However, the complexity of these processes can cause accidents such as the release of oil to seas and oceans. In this context, this study proposes to carry out the implementation of a system of information to charts of environmental sensitivity to oil and prepare maps of vulnerability to oil for the city of Caraguatatuba-SP. The implementation of the database with geographical information of coastal environments was appropriate to be provided by the Internet, allowing wide access of data. The maps of vulnerability are important tool developed for the Individual Emergency Plans, because they were developed in operational scale, appropriate to actions to combat oil.

Identificação de áreas potenciais para implantação de aterro sanitário no distrito de floresta do sul em Presidente Prudente/SP

O crescimento das sociedades urbanas tem gerado um aumento significativo na produção dos resíduos sólidos urbanos, tornando o tema de disposição final amplamente discutido nas gestões públicas. Recentemente, a partir da criação da Lei Federal nº 12.305/2010, que institui a Política Nacional dos Resíduos Sólidos, foi estabelecido que a disposição final ambientalmente adequada dos rejeitos deve ser feita exclusivamente em aterros. O presente trabalho teve então como objetivo a avaliação de áreas potenciais para instalação de aterro sanitário no Distrito de Floresta do Sul no município de Presidente Prudente/SP. Para tanto, utilizou-se o SIG, como ferramenta do geoprocessamento, para análise espacial. Inicialmente, construiu-se um banco de dados geográficos da região de estudo com os dados de geomorfologia, hidrologia, declividade, malha urbana e rede viária. Estudo sobre a condição de coleta e tratamento de esgoto sanitário do município de Ubatuba-SP

The actual work broaches a study about the collection and treatment of sanitary sewage from the municipality of Ubatuba in its operational aspects and the tariff policy from the service. Themes related to the subject like the history of collection and treatment of sewage, its development in Brazil and its importance for public health and environmental preservation, as well as historical and geographical aspects of Ubatuba/SP, are present in the literature review. The methodology consists in guided visit in the colletion and treatment of sewage facilities and interview with technical managers. With the technical data obtained, it is made a discussion of the results and possible recommendations

Estudo sobre os tipos de manifestações no campo paulista no período 2000-2011

Este trabalho visa contribuir com os estudos sobre a luta pela terra no contexto atual, qualificando os dados do Banco de Dados da Luta pela Terra (DATALUTA). Esta qualificação dos dados é um processo permanente dentro do Núcleo de Estudos, Pesquisas e Projetos de Reforma Agrária (NERA) e Rede DATALUTA. Nesta análise estudamos os tipos das manifestações do campo no processo de luta pela e na terra, com base nos registros da Comissão Pastoral da Terra (CPT), fazendo uma análise entre 2000 e 2011 no estado de São Paulo. Com isso, buscamos compreender a importância das manifestações dos movimentos socioterritoriais camponeses como um elemento da luta pela terra, no bojo da questão agrária brasileira. Para isso utilizamos dos conceitos geográficos de espacialização da luta, território material e imaterial e desenvolvimento territorial. Assim, relacionamos as manifestações como ações que espacializam a luta pela terra na conquista do território, reivindicando políticas públicas para o seu desenvolvimento colaborando para evidenciar o território imaterial camponês aliado ao paradigma da questão agrária

O ensino de redação em sites: diálogos em rede

We know that studies on reading and writing take place within the Linguistic for several decades and, with de computer, the language entered the network and this is opening a learning space for writing classes, no more reduced to a classroom but expanded to a universe that has no geographical boundaries, namely de Internet. Our research fits into this context and is part of the project The discourse on writing practices in contemporary Brazilian media: the art making, the pedagogical practice, and the production of meaning to develop discourse analysis on the practice of writing on sites dedicated to teaching and learning of this practice. The main objective of this research is to investigate the relationship between school attendance of redaction - made here as discourse gender, as you know Bakhtin - and the discourse of the sites that constitute our corpus. We set out the hypothesis that the sites are intended for the teaching/learning of writing seeking to create virtually teaching imaginarily conditions similar to those that exist in school attendance of the Portuguese language. We are interested in, therefore, observe, discursively, as the image is created of the interlocutors to which they are intended considering that the enunciators are not in front of those who occupy the place of real students, because they are virtual students. We, too, to know as the gender class manifested itself in those sites, as these sites dialogue with the face-to-face class in relation to ideology, the function of the teacher, the conception of language and writing. Nos anos mais recentes, numerosos artigos têm aparecido, tentando recuperar essa falha, mas nota-se, ainda, a falta de um documento mais abrangente, que recupere os momentos fundamentais, os acertos e os erros, os avanços e as crises no progresso do conhecimento geográfico desenvolvido entre nós. E a lacuna se faz sentir, também, em termos de informações precisas sobre pesquisas, eventos, trabalhos publicados e teses defendidas, sem as quais não se pode reconstruir, de forma segura, a trajetória da Geografia brasileira. Espaço, território e paisagem: uma leitura teóricometodológica da Geografia Agrária brasileira na pós-graduação a partir dos anos 1970

The aim of this study was to propose a reading of theoretical and methodological geography of Brazilian agriculture in Post-Graduate Studies in Geography (PPGE's) from the Southeast, from the 1970s, trying to present a discussion of the analysis categories (space, territory, landscape, region and place) that has been unleashed over the meetings of Agrarian Geography (ENGA's) and in three meetings of the Research Groups of Agrarian Geography (2005, 2006, 2007). So, we started with the hypothesis that the relativization of scientific concepts may impair development of spatial concepts only. To accomplish our objective we carried out a survey of dissertations and theses supported in the period 1970 to 2009, in Post-Graduate in Geography and UFU UFMG (Minas Gerais), UFRJ, UFF and UERJ (Rio de Janeiro) and USP, UNESP / Rio Claro, UNESP / Presidente Prudente (Sao Paulo). The evaluation dealt with the quantitative and drew a profile of Agrarian Geography. Qualitatively, further analysis, crossing information, contextualizing the themes and especially evaluating the theoretical set referenced in the works, an indication of the possible paths followed by this branch of the Brazilian Geography for which it is observed that the references to the categories space and, more specifically the organization of space, was prioritized in the 1980s and the territory as a reference work after 1990.
