Datos para la flora catalana, algunas plantas nuevas

Fruto de nuestras exploraciones botánicas durante el año 1974 por la comarca del Priorat y sus estribaciones montañosas han sido una serie de hallazgos que juzgamos con el suficiente interés florístico y corológico para que sean expuestos al público conocimiento. Hemos separado aquí cuatro especies nuevas para la flora catalana, que representan, además, límites de distribución corológica para la Península Ibérica. Incluimos también un apéndice con la ecología y el comportamiento fitocenológico de dos de las especies estudiadas, Lythrum castellanum y L. tribracteatum.

Stellario pallidae-Chenopodietum exsuccii Molero et Blanche, nueva asociacion de la comarca de los Monegros (Valle del Ebro).

Los montes de la Retuerta de Pina, situados en el corazón de los Monegros, entre Pina y Bujaraloz, constituyen una suave elevación que se alza ligeramente (417 m s.m. en Purburell) sobre la plataforma de Bujaraloz (300 m de altitud media). Información sobre los suelos, clima general y vegetación de este enclave puede encontrarse en los trabajos especializados de BRAUN BLANQUET & O. BOLOS (Anales Est. Exp. Aula Dei 5. 1957) y TERRADAS (Orsis 2: 71-95.1986). En las estribaciones septentrionales más abruptas de estos montes, se abren una serie de valles de dirección SE-NW, algunos con desniveles relativamente pronunciados (30-50 m) entre las crestas y los fondos. La maquia arbolada del Rhamno-Quercetum cocciferae subas, thuriferetosum está, en las vertientes de umbría, magníficamente representada. Su relativa frondosidad, así como el tamaño y buena conservación de los árboles /. thuriferay P. halepensis, atestiguan la escasa manipulación humana.

Directrius per a les Biblioteques de presó de Catalunya

Algunes plantes dels Ports de Beseit (Catalunya meridional)

Notas florísticas sobre plantas vasculares de los Ports de Beseit. Algunas son nuevas citas para esta zona: Ephedra nebrodensis, Equisetum palustre, Iberis saxatilis subsp. saxatihs; otras raras: Neotinea maculata, Ridolfia segetum, Ranunculus parviflorus. Arrbenatberum album es indicado por primera vez en Cataluña.

Els fongs de Catalunya occidental segons les prospeccions recents. II

This paper contains the conclusion of a mycological survey of western Catalonia. The first part of the results was published in Acta Bot. Barc. 45 (Homenatge a Oriol de Bolòs): 57-89. The present part covers the last two groups of Basidiomycota: the agarics (326 species) and the gasteromycetes (44 species). The data regarding the surveyed area, collection localities, abbreviations used in the information on ecology, collectors and identifiers are found in the mentioned first part, which contains records of 37 species of Myxomycota, 5 of Zygomycota, 101 of mitosporic fungi, 8 of Teliomycetes, 1 of Ustomycetes, 16 of Phragmobasidiomycetes and 92 of Aphyllophorales. Together with the first part, the results of our survey are a useful contribution to an improved understanding of the fungal component of plant communities of the dry, warm lowlands of the western Mediterranean region, and highlight the remarkable reproductive activity of the fungi observed during late Autumn and Winter, in the studied area.

Els fongs de Catalunya occidental segons les prospeccions recents. I.

The fungi of occidental Catalonia after recent prospections I. This work intends to collect the mycological data gathered during the last four years as a result of the project "Fungal biodiversity of Catalonia", in the western and southern, mainly lowland areas of this country. The climate is mainly dry (400-600 mm/year) and warm. The survey, that covers 160 localities, has enabled the identification of 37 species of Myxomycota, 5 of Zygomycora, 159 of Ascomyctra, 101 mitosporic fungi, 8 Teliomycetes, 1 Ustomycetes, 16 Phragmobasidiomycetes and 92 Apliyllopllorates, that are included in this paper. Because of space limitations, the remaining 326 agarics and 44 Gasteromycetes will be published in the next number of this journal. This work is a contribution to a best understanding of the fungal flora, chorology, ecology and phenology of the West-Mediterranean dry lowlands.

El mostratge fitocenològic a Catalunya

irregular. With reference to the 10 km UTM network, the number of relevés per cell ranges between 0 and 527, with a mean of 36, the most exhaustively prospected areas lying in the Pyrenean range. On the other hand, 44 cells spread ± regularly over the Catalan territory have not available relevés yet, the larger spot lying in the Lluçanés area (C Catalonia). As a general rule. communities seem to be rather adequately prospected and no great discordances between syntaxa have been observed. However. further studies may be required for several alliances such as Berberidion, Pruno-Rubion ulmifolii, Taeniathero-Aegilopion, Alkanno-Malcolmion, Thero-Suaedion, Posidonion or Rupion maritimae. Noves aportacions a la flora de les comarques meridionals de Catalunya.

Data about 89 taxa are presented. Arabis nova Vill. subsp. iberica Rivas Mart. ex Talavera, Cistus × nigricans Pourr. and Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. are new records for the Catalan flora, and 15 taxa (Allium oporinanthum Brullo et al., Apera interrupta (L.) Beauv., Asplenium trichomanes L. subsp. trichomanes, Campanula affinis Schult., Carex sylvatica Huds. subsp. paui (Sennen) A. and O. Bolòs, Epilobium angustifolium L., Limonium hibericum Erben, Melilotus messanensis (L.) All., Minuartia funkii (Jord.) Graebner, Onosma triceros-perma subsp. catalaunica (Sennen) O. Bolòs and Vigo, Orchis palustris Jacq., Orchis simia Lam., Selaginella denticulata (L.) Spring, Stellaria neglecta Weihle in Bluff and Fingerh. and Vaccinium myrtillus L. are new records for Southern Catalonia.

Catàleg de plantes vasculars endèmiques, rares o amenaçades de Catalunya. I. Tàxons endèmics

Catalogue of endemic, rare or threatened vascular plants in Catalonia. I. Endemic taxa. This is the first of a set of papers devoted to rare or threatened plants in Catalonia. We list 279 specific or subspecific taxa which are in a broad sense endemic to the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula. We assess them with regard to their conservation status according to IUCN criteria. Assignment of these taxa to established categories has led to the following results: 6 taxa critically endangered (CR), 5 endangered (EN), 32 vulnerable (VU), 5 near threatened (LR nt). 84 least concern (LR lc), 116 not threatened (NT) and 31 data deficient (DD). The small number of taxa that enjoy legal protection in comparison with the number of threatened plants is emphasized. Key words: Endemic plants, Catalonia, Plant conservation, UICN categories.

Comunitats vegetals higronitròfiles de la Catalunya pirinenca i de les terres properes

Hygronitrophilous plant communities of Pyrenaean Catalonia and its vicinities. The following communities have been recognized: Alliance Bidention tripartitae: Xanthio italici-Polygonetumpersicarine O. Bolòs 1957, Bidentetum tripartitae W. Koch 1926 (= Polygono hydropiperis-Bidentetum tripartitae Lohm. in Tx. 1950) and Myosoto aquaticae-Bidentetum frondosae, ass. nova. Alliance Convolvulion sepium: Arundini-Convolvuletum sepium (Tx. and Oberd.) O. Bolòs 1962, Oenothero glaziovianae-Asteretum pilosi O. Bolòs and R. Masalles 1983 and Oenothero biennis-Helianthetum tuberosi,ass. nova.

Sobre algunas especies del genero Russula de Catalunya.

Se tratan cuatro especies del género Russula nuevas para la flora micológica de Cataluña. El estudio incluye descripciones de las especies, con iconografía de los aspectos morfológicos más interesantes, fotografías (M. E. B.) de las esporas y comentarios sobre su ecología y posición taxonómica. Las especies tratadas son: Russula ¡litis Romagn. and al., R. Mota Romagn., R. faginea Romagn, y R. farinipes Romell.

La diversitat liquènica de Catalunya i Andorra. Estat dels nostres coneixements i propostes per millorar-los

The diversity of lichens of Catalonia and Andorra. The state of the question and proposals to complete our knowledge. After a selection of bibliographical sources, the authors analyse the current level of the knowledge of the lichenic flora of Catalonia and Andorra. Having in mind this situation, they propose some objectives aimed to an optimum field research, as a first step towards a balanced and reasonably complete knowledge of the lichenic biodiversity of the area

Silene de Sennen

SILENE SENNENII PAU IN BOL. SOC. ARAGONESA CI. NAT. 4: 309 (1905) - Silene sennenii és un colitx dedicat a Frère Sennen, botànic occità i germà de La Salle que treballà en la flora empordanesa a principis del S. XX. Es tracta d’una espècie endèmica de la comarca de l’Alt Empordà fortament amenaçada (categoria EN, “En perill”), que ha estat estudiada per investigadors del BioC des de fa anys i, actualment, és objecte del projecte de recerca CGL2007-60475/BOS. Ha estat part de la tesi doctoral de M.C. Martinell, del Màster en Ciències Farmacèutiques de S. Massó i del treball dirigit de L. Guasch.
