The general objective of this academic work is to analyze the relationship between the territorial division and the urban expansion process of Mossoró city, understood here as the production and occupation of space. The urban expansion in Mossoró, since its formation as settlement in 1772 until current days, identifies with the Brazilian urbanization process whose growth is determined by the capitalist development. Thus, the expansion was determined by several economical specializations imposed by the territorial division of work which occurs at an interregional level, and, sometimes at an international level. Then, each specialization determined a moment of the urban expansion of the city, as follows: a) The cattle farmer specialization, between 1772 and 1857, when the urban expansion was shy, is summarized to a commercial square that received goods from Aracati aiming to cover a wide rural area; b) The commercial emporium specialization, between 1857 and 1930, when the urban expansion took an important impulse with the concentration of public and private capitals; c) The salt industry and the agricultural-industrial exporter specialization inside a state of development policy, between 1930 and 1970, when the urban expansion, joined to the settlement of the working class in the urban soil, developed along an important axis -the railway; d) The render of services specialization inside a state of intervention policy, between 1970 and 1990, when the urban expansion was characterized by the accelerated growth rhythm, by the reuse of some spaces, and by space segregation of demanding people; e) The render of services policy inside a neoliberal state policy, since 1990 until current days, when the urban expansion reduced its rhythm abruptly, when only small alterations occurred in the existing spaces. It focused on social policies and on several slums eradication programs. Finally, the territorial structure is deeply articulated with others, no territorial, but economical, social and political, which happens at a national, regional and local rate. Only within a historical and conceptual panorama, it was possible to explain the urban expansion in Mossoró from its formation in 1772 until current days. Therefore, this work is a several discipline analysis of the urbanization process existing in Mossoró

The debate around the thematic of Corporate Social Responsibility - CSR involves economic, social, cultural and symbolic aspects in the relations established between company and society. In Brazilian reality, the CSR, understood as enterprise actions, external and/or internal, that contributes to social and ambient improvement, gains greater visibility in 1990 decade. Although the significant increase of theoretical productions about CSR pertinent elements, it is still scarce the studies that treats about the relation company/society in the northeastern reality, and singularly, in Rio Grande do Norte. It was in this perspective, that, in being the salt industry one of most important in the potiguar economic history formation , the present work investigated practicies and perceptions of salt entrepreneurship about CSR. Considering all the Rio Grande do Norte salt industry history phases, since the period of the Brazil s settling, as well as the characteristics of the study object, was opted to the qualitative research, objectified in interviews half-structuralized realized with the salt segment entrepreneurs, as well as professionals of ambient management and human resources working in potiguar salt segment. The research main results indicated a coexistence between the mechanisms of management seated on personal and paternalists relations, typical of traditional salt industry, and the emergency of innovative elements typical of the modern management, like the CSR. In this context, a tension between continuity and rupture with the traditional mechanisms of management in salt entrepreneurship actions

Este estudo analisa o trabalho dos artesãos ceramistas num dos principais pólos produtores de artesanato paraense no bairro do Paracuri, em Icoaraci, Belém/PA, o qual se constituiu o campo da pesquisa. Este bairro concentra cerca de 80 (oitenta) olarias e envolve diretamente cerca de 220 (duzentos e vinte) ceramistas na produção de artesanato em cerâmica, predominantemente, de grafismo Marajoara. Metodologicamente, o estudo é referenciado pela abordagem crítico-dialética. Como instrumentos de coleta de dados foram utilizados: a) documentos; b) observação da dinâmica de trabalho nas olarias e entrevista semiestruturada. Teve 24 (vinte e quatro) sujeitos da pesquisa, assim estratificados: 15 (quinze) artesãos ceramistas, 08 (oito) vendedores de peças artesanais confeccionadas em Icoaraci e 01 (um) gestor de órgão público responsável pela execução de política pública em nível estadual destinada ao artesanato. O trabalho encontra-se estruturado em: introdução, em que se apresentam as reflexões iniciais sobre o objeto de estudo, a segunda parte que se refere ao trabalho artesanal na dinâmica econômica da Amazônia brasileira, a terceira que trata das particularidades do trabalho dos artesãos ceramistas em Icoaraci com base extrativista, destacando que essa forma de trabalho no Estado do Pará remonta ao período colonial. A quarta parte analisa o trabalho dos artesãos ceramistas. Ao final, foram efetuadas as considerações sobre os principais resultados destacando que, por meio desta forma de trabalho os artesãos ocupam um lugar no mercado de trabalho, visto que o processo de trabalho é atrativo para visitantes e turistas que procuram o bairro pela produção de peças com grafismo marajoara, dentre outros. Esta forma de trabalho é a principal fonte de renda desses trabalhadores. Em que pese a importância desta forma de trabalho para a reprodução social dos artesãos pesquisados e para a constituição desse bairro como polo produtor de artesanato, a base deste trabalho é extrativista, o que remonta ao período colonial no Estado do Pará. Assim, essa forma de trabalho dos artesãos ceramistas em Icoaraci-Belém/PA é determinada pela dinâmica econômica, social, política e cultural da Amazônia brasileira. Sendo assim, a continuação desse trabalho no Estado do Pará está relacionada, diretamente, aos seguintes aspectos: savoir-faire, organização social dos mesmos em associações e cooperativas e ações pautadas na agenda das várias políticas públicas (Turismo, Meio Ambiente, Indústria e Comércio etc). As particularidades do trabalho artesanal em Icoaraci expressam que as condições precárias de trabalho e de vida dos ceramistas estão relacionadas ao lugar que a Amazônia brasileira vem ocupando na divisão internacional do trabalho. Assim, a trajetória histórica de exportadora de produtos primários traduz-se como limite à melhoria das condições de vida e de trabalho desses artesãos, os quais trabalham em condições precárias e, nessa condição, contribuem para a acumulação do capital. Neste sentido, demandam uma análise das múltiplas determinações deste trabalho na perspectiva da melhoria das condições de vida e de trabalho dos referidos artesãos ceramistas.

The Brazilian construction is with high production which resulted in many service industries and also for businesses that work in conjunction with it. For the furniture industries would not be different, since they are intimately involved with the construction. To meet the demand for furnishings in Brazil, some clusters of industries have developed in recent years, as in the case of Uba (MG), Arapongas (PR) and Bento Gonçalves (RS). For industries sector can always increase its production combining quality and customer satisfaction, is necessary for their production procedures are studied and improved every day. The aim of this research is to propose a solution for simple information system involving the issue of tracking parts of the furniture produced in an industry custom furniture that depend on outsourced services. The research occurred during four months of the year 2013 for the observation of the production of the industry, where possible observing interference could be carried out with the aim of obtaining improvements in the production line. It is concluded that control of the finished product in a custom furniture industry is a very complex work, because the information system must transmit information faithful, which has not happened formerly, but after the implementation of the identification system was significant improvement the transfer of information between sectors mounts internal and external furniture

This paper analyzes the impact of implementing an information system, Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP, in a small business of the furniture industry. The goal this is show the impacts felt during and after implementation, showing behavioral and technological changes made by the study. The paper concludes by citing about the importance of cultural and behavioral changes for the good use of the system, besides showing the need to adapt to new technologies and ways of working to adapt to today's world of constant change and eternal conflict of the market

The food industry looks for new ways and strategies to standardize the marketing products in the customer market. The modification of the cornflour that are produced in the manufacturing of the cheese bread has been one of the these ways, since some raw materials that are used to make the cornflour present different features in each supplyed allotment. The present research had as a main purpose to analyse such features looking forward to improving the quality of the final product. Thus, some tests were done to verify the pH, humidity and acidity; it was checked the percentage of carbonyl and carboxylic groups and the power of expansion to five different allotments and to farina, for example: pre-gel, natural, expandex farina as the combination of the three cited kinds. After diversifying the allotments, different results were acquired, even to an unique kind of farina and it was not possible to correlate the results of acidity, the percentage of carbonyl and carboxylic groups and the power of expansion. The pH and humidity are proper for each kind of farina. This way, the raw materials that are used for each cheese bread manufacturing must be analysed in each allotment

The screen work seeks to illustrate the experiential marketing strategies, relating these concepts within the automotive industry. From the methodology of content analysis, success stories of the automotive industry have been analyzed in the light of experimental marketing theories to elucidate the strategies of organizations with their target audience. The objectives aimed at understanding and studying experiential marketing within the market scenario, identify its main characteristics and applicability. The main results stand out that sensory experiences provided by experiential marketing can be the differentiating factors between organizations, especially, those of the automotive sector

Thermosetting resins are very important in the production of MDF panels. They act as an adhesive in the process of compacting and consolidating the fiberboard. Thermoset resins commonly used in this process are based resin urea formaldehyde (UF) and melamine formaldehyde (MF). The first has a higher demand due to its low cost and good performance in meeting the specifications and standards. The second has a high cost compared to MF resin, but adds greater value to the MDF panel, because it gives greater moisture resistance. The process of manufacture of MDF boards was briefly presented in this study to facilitate the understanding of the work. Samples of thermosetting resins (UF and MF) were subjected to physical-chemical seeking to relate these results to the technological performance presented by their respective samples of MDF boards. Two other samples of MDF panels were subjected to physical and mechanical tests. Results were analyzed and related to the award of their respective thermoset resin. Instruments like Dahmos Trend Manager ® and Grecon Dax 5000 and TG - DSC analysis were used in this study to assist in the analysis of the results. It was observed that the results of the analysis of thermosetting resins were within the specified. Such resins do not directly influence the technological tests provided by the MDF panels, but it has been found that the process variables such as humidity and fiber production rate interfere with the performance of the resin accelerating the reaction and therefore their influence on the physical-mechanical properties of the panels MDF. Samples of MDF panels with UF and MF met all the specifications required by the Brazilian standard with regard to the technological quality.
