Em que sentido(s) é radical o Behaviorismo Radical?

The use of the adjective radical to identify the variety of behaviorism proposed by Skinner is current nowadays. However, historically, this qualifier was not exclusively applied to Skinner's proposal and its polysemy tends to generate inaccuracies in the interpretation of what characterizes Skinner's Radical Behaviorism. This article aims to clarify the most appropriate sense of radical when applied to Skinner's behaviorism by means of four articulated activities: (1) the description of the etymological origins of the word radical and its different meanings in Portuguese, Spanish and English, (2) a reconstruction and analysis of the evolution of a historical setting that culminated in the use of the term in the behaviorist context, (3) an analysis of the main meanings of radical when associated with behaviorism, (4) an examination of some ways in which the use of the term associated with behaviorism is consistent, and the current and future implications for Radical Behaviorism and Behavior Analysis in a scientific context.

Sons e imagens do rádio: A era do rádio

Radio Days de Woody Allen est un film de mémoire: le narrateur ressouvient sa enfance et l´influence du radio dans les années 1940 dans le quotidien dans sa famille. Ce film n´est pas une simple reconstitution historique mais un document pour l´histoire, document visuel en potentiel étudié dans les relations cinema, histoire et mémoire. Dans cette perspective l´analyse filmique discute le méthode suggéré par Marc Ferro pour l´analyse du document d´images en mouvement. Le film est, dans nos cas, un écrivain d´histoire et en même temps un support pour la mémoire: mémoire étendu pour Jacques Le Goff et experience collective pour Walter Benjamin.

Da prescrição curricular ao currículo como ação compartilhada: dilemas das tentativas de renovação dos programas de ensino de Matemática no estado de São Paulo pós-64

The present study is the result of joint actions between education, research and outreach that is focused on the training of educators and its implications for the renovation of teaching Mathematics. Its objective is to analyze the attempts to reorganize in mathematics curriculum implemented in the state of São Paulo in the post-64. It makes use of documentary analysis and interviews of teachers for reasons of discussion and conclusions. Situated in the theoretical and methodological context of collaborative research and historical-cultural theory. The research results which shows that mathematical activity is the centrality of the discussion about learning mathematics, which has consequences for the organization, of teaching programs. This is a genesis school thinking that motivates the students to the reconstruction of ideas and thinking a production process in the classroom that considers the conditions of the school, other than the conditions that governs the production of knowledge of mathematical science, which requires thinking about the formation of a teacher epistemologically curious.

A filosofia do direito no sistema filosófico hegeliano

The Hegelian philosophy is presented as a progress in relation to other philosophies and it offers to take in itself all the other demonstrations. Thereby, Hegel intends to carry out his philosophical effort towards the establishment of a philosophical system. It is a comprehension recognized and exposed by Hegel in his doctoral thesis, i.e., that philosophy only becomes possible as a system. In this sense, the treatment dispensed to each one of his works necessarily evokes a relationship with all other. An work taken in isolation gets the feeling that something else should be presented, however, every work written by Hegel also contemplates a relation with his other works. In this sense, the objective here is to considerate Hegel’s Philosophy of Law in his philosophical system seeking to explicit its specific place, as well as its transit among the works of the thinker as a whole. The Philosophy of Law finds its particular moment in the ambit of the objective spirit or during the subjective spirit’s effectuation. However, it is assumed here the perspective that the Philosophy of Law represents, as the objective spirit does, a moment of mediation as well as a there-being whereby the absolute spirit’s effectuation would happen. Furthermore, Hegel’s Philosophy represents the presentation of what he considers as extremely important in philosophy, that is precisely, the need to sublate the separation between man and the world. It is not enough for Hegel, the affirmation of the being and the thinking in itself, but it is required to confirm them in their being other that will be evinced being itself. Thus, Philosophy is given as a reconstruction or as the factual knowledge as a science ceasing to be so only love of learning. This means in other words that philosophy deals with the world, in the world and for the world being much more than a speech to the world to be the talk of the world itself. If philosophy is the owl of Minerva who always arrives late, she does it for the reasons of the other to be recognized.

Avaliação da integração de esferas de hidroxiapatita sintética e de polietileno poroso em cavidades evisceradas de coelhos

Para a recuperação da estética facial,há necessidade de reposição do volume orbitário perdido em decorrência de eviscerações ou enucleações. Este estudo foi realizado com os objetivos de avaliar comparativamente a biocompatibilidade e a manutenção do volume orbitário com o uso de esferas de hidroxiapatita sintética e de polietileno poroso, na reconstrução de cavidades evisceradas de coelhos. Métodos: Para isso foram utilizados 56 coelhos albinos, submetidos à evisceração do olho direito, com colocação de esferas de hidroxiapatita sintética (G1 – 28 animais) ou polietileno poroso (G2 – 28 animais).Quatro coelhos de cada grupo foram sacrificados em 7 momentos experimentais: 7, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 e 180 dias após a evisceração. Após o sacrifício, o conteúdo da cavidade orbitária direita foi removido e seccionado na porção central em duas hemi-metades,uma das quais foi preparada para exame histopatológico; exame ultra-estrutural em microscópio eletrônico de varredura foi feito em dois animais de 7, 60 e 180 dias, de ambos os grupos experimentais. Resumo 118 Resultados: Observou-se aos 7 dias, tecido conjuntivo frouxo, constituído de células inflamatórias e hemáceas, em meio à rede de fibrina, principalmente na periferia da esfera de hidroxiapatita e chegando até ao centro da esfera de polietileno; a reação tecidual tornou-se mais densa com o passar do tempo. Decorridos 60 dias, observou-se em G1, início de metaplasia óssea que se acentuou ao longo do experimento. Em todos os momentos experimentais, a inflamação,predominantemente macrofágica, foi muito mais acentuada em G1.O volume da cavidade esclero-corneana foi melhor mantido em G2. Conclusão: a esfera de hidroxiapatita sintética provoca mais inflamação que a de polietileno poroso e é menos eficiente na manutenção do volume orbitário... Fractografia quantitativa: correlação entre dimensão fractal e tenacidade à fratura em compósitos fibra de carbono/epóxi

The fracture surfaces express the sequence of events of energy release due to crack propagation by linking the relief of the fracture to the loading stresses. This study aims to evaluate the heterogeneity of the critical zone for the advancement of the crack along its entire length in a thermoset composite carbon fiber and epoxy matrix, fractured in DCB testing (Double Cantilever Beam) and ENF (End-Notched Flexure). Investigations were made from image stacks obtained by optical reflection of extended depth from focus reconstruction. The program NIH Image J was used to obtain elevation map and fully focused images of the fracture surface, whose topographies were quantitatively analyzed. The monofractal behavior for DCB samples was assessed as being heterogeneous along the crack front and along the crack for all the conditionings. For the samples fractured in ENF test, there was a strong positive correlation to the natural condition, considering the fibers at 0° for the monofractal dimension and structural dimension (Df and Ds). For fibers at 90° to crack propagation, there was a moderate positive correlation for the textural dimension of natural condition. However, for the samples under ultraviolet condition and those subjected to thermal cycles, there was no correlation between the fractal dimension and fracture toughness in mode II

As ações do Programa Estadual de Microbacias Hidrográficas no município de Caiuá - SP

O processo de modernização da agricultura brasileira provocou sérios danos ao meio ambiente. Nos últimos anos foram formuladas e implementadas algumas políticas públicas voltadas à promoção do desenvolvimento rural, com base em ações inovadoras e com a participação de novos agentes sociais. A descentralização políticoadministrativa promovida pela Constituição Federal promulgada no ano de 1988 criou as condições institucionais para que tais ações fossem empreendidas. O Programa de Microbacias, surge nesse contexto, inicialmente nos estados do Paraná e de Santa Catarina, sendo posteriormente implementado no Estado de São Paulo, em razão dos bons resultados apresentados no sul do país. No Estado de São Paulo, o referido programa visou combater os problemas decorrentes do processo de modernização da agricultura. Constituíram objetivos do Programa Estadual de Microbacias Hidrográficas, o combate à erosão e aos ravinamentos, o estímulo ao manejo adequado dos recursos naturais nas pequenas propriedades rurais e a organização dos agricultores em associações. As ações foram parcialmente financiadas pelo Banco Internacional para Reconstrução e Desenvolvimento (BIRD – Banco Mundial) e executadas pela Coordenadoria de Assistência Técnica Integral (CATI) em parceria com os municípios. A CATI, órgão gerenciador teve como objetivo atender mais de 90 mil produtores rurais em todo o Estado em mais de 1500 projetos de microbacias. Foram atendidos 70 mil produtores rurais, distribuídos em 514 municípios, perfazendo 996 microbacias hidrográficas trabalhadas. No município de Caiuá foram disponibilizados R$ 483.819,01 por meio do referido programa para atender a 104 proprietários na microbacias do Caiuazinho com R$ 255.018,3 e na do Córrego Água da Invernada com R$ 228.800,71, totalizando 80 produtores...
