As eleições municipais de 2008: federações partidárias ou partidos nacionais

Apesar da variação observada na votação partidária (entre um município e outro, e mesmo entre regiões) e independentemente de variáveis específicas (como características demográficas, socioeconômicas ou a existência de mandonismo ou de políticas públicas que afetem particularmente uma região), as eleições municipais de 2008 apontam para a vigência de partidos políticos estruturados nacionalmente, os quais devem transformar suas vitórias eleitorais em negociações políticas na disputa presidencial de 2010.

Compreensão leitora de palavras e frases: elaboração de procedimento avaliativo

This study aimed to develop procedures for assessing reading comprehension of words and phrases and characterize the performance of students of 2nd year of elementary school in this procedure. It was divided into two phases: 1) preparation of evaluation tests of reading comprehension, consisting of three events: comprehension of written word (CWW), sentences (CWS) and sentences through pictures (CSP) and 2) application of the elaborated evaluation in 120 students distributed in the following groups: GI, 60 students from a public (municipal) school and GII, 60 students from a private school. The CWW test obtained the highest average of score, followed by CSP and CWS for both groups, since the picture contributes to the comprehension of the meaning either of the word and sentences. The procedure was effective to assess initial skills of reading comprehension once it identified inherent difficulties related to the literacy process.

Padronização e melhoria de processos produtivos em empresas de panificação: estudo de múltiplos casos

An important tool for organizational change is the standardization of procedures for developing standards so that companies have greater control, thus providing a broad view of their processes and needs. This paper presents and analyzes a model of standard processes developed by the bakeries in PROPAN (Support Programme Bakery), detailing each stage of deployment to evaluate both its benefits for companies and employees and its shortcomings, to make proposals for improvements. Five bakeries were selected for this multi-case study, whose methodology consists of qualitative research using semi-structured interviews, on-site observations and document analysis. The main positive points of the model are the possibility of standardized recipes and procedures, a large decrease in wasted raw material and a significant increase in worker productivity. The main challenges are the lack of employee and owner commitment to the project, the lack of materials needed for deployment and the resistance of employees to change.

The private for-profit institution necessarily works with a focus on continuous improvement of the results of its operations, thus ensuring the entry of assets. The archive is often consulted in order to obtain answers to questions of legal, administrative, political and diplomatic. This study aimed to delineate the organizational structure of a renowned brazilian company in the segment of photography in order to meet the tasks, activities and routines specific to the industry named “archive albums”, contextualizing it and providing elements for an effective organization of the ser-vices provided by industry. The study opted for a descriptive-exploratory method through observation of daily routines and interviews with the application of semi-structured questionnaire to industry officials and heads of departments. The results of data collection were synthesized by flow chart and a functional organizational structure that allows us to understand the activities developed by the sector.

Injustice and power according to Noam Chomsky. In the beginning of the Politics, Aristotle establishes the two lesser forms of sociability: the relationships between man and woman and between master and the slave. In this context, he observes that “Hellenes are natural masters of barbarians” and the reason is that Greeks know philosophy and barbarians still resort to violence (ARISTOTLE, Politics, 1252a.). Shortly after defines “just war” as a war that has a fair cause, that is, which is well justified by philosophy or a fair speech (ARISTOTLE, Politics, 1255a.). This scene briefly expresses the manner in which the USA understands their role in the contemporary world. Chomsky points out the political use of massive military force of his country and denounces how it articulates internally and externally. Thereby he can conclude that the US has, for historical reasons, an internal posture that is advocate or contrary to what they imposes to other countries. Due to the growing practice of recreational activities among enterprises, it became evident an increase in the possibilities of interdisciplinary action of Physical Education teachers as well as in the areas alike. However, just a few academic papers try to understand the relation involving recreational activities in the context of business companies, what motivated the attention of this study, which aims to investigate whether the games played in business trainings may somehow contribute for a better comprehension and development of actions between employees and employers and also, to analyze the acceptability of this resource in lectures or formal events, which are usual in trainings. This study – which has a qualitative approach – was developed and based on the union of both bibliographic and exploratory researches. Data were collected through a questionnaire with open and direct questions that was applied to an intentional sample of twenty-five employees from a company in the countryside of São Paulo. Those data were analyzed in a descriptive way, through Thematic Content Analysis Technique and they showed that the relationship among employees has improved, whereas the relationship between employers and employees hasn’t improved that much and that the training which was given with dynamics and recreational strategies had a very positive result, because the goals were reached and the acceptability of this kind of training was unanimous among all the participants, It is extremely important that recreational activities can be developed in business trainings because with them, it is possible to reach more successfully their goals and the acceptability by the participants.

Subsídios para o gerenciamento de resíduos de serviços de saúde em municípios de médio porte: estudo de caso de Araraquara - SP

The Health Care Wastes (HCW) present serious risks to health and to the environment, if incorrectly managed, because in addition to the presence of pathogenic agents, the may pollute the soil and the water. Thus, a study was performed aiming at diagnosing the HCW management in Araraquara (SP), identifying the difficulties of the agents (municipal gestors and managers of institutions which generate this wastes) in implanting the HCW management Plan (HCWMP) proposed by ANVISA, in order to subside the HCWMP implantation. The methodology was based on question applications in health centers selected to be the samples, and on quantitative data related to the phases of Treatment and Final Disposal, provided by DAAE. As a result, it was observed that a great part of the interviewed centers managed these wastes according to norm RDC no 306/ 2004 of ANVISA. However, only 24% of the interviewed centers knew about this norm, and only 22% of them had the HCWMP. The difficulties in managing the HCW concentrated in the correct segregation of theses wastes in the generation source. The large number of people involved in this phase suggests the causes of the difficulties.

As estratégias governamentais frente à empregabilidade de jovens e adultos: investigando os meandros da relação educação e trabalho

This conclusion of course work aims to investigate the city of Limerick / SP, in order to question whether there are and what public policies developed by local, if there are training places for young people and targeting the job market or even partnerships between the city and local businesses seeking to supply the concrete conditions of preparation and targeting young people for the labor market. All changes in education accompanied the need to provide skilled labor to contribute to the country's economic development. The work is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is about the whole historical development of professional education in Brazil and new challenges. The second chapter discusses the reality of the world of work changes and their consequences, and the issue of working children and adolescents. The third chapter is about the difficulty of insertion of the poor youth in the current job market. The fourth chapter presents the city of Limerick to the needs of professional schools to meet the large number of trades and industries, which are currently listed by the educational institutions of the city and programs signed between the Municipal bodies and institutions such as SENAC (National Service of Commercial Learning) and Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning). The fifth chapter presents an interview with the CAMPL the city of Limerick, whose goal and give professional training to teens to get the first employee. Espaço geográfico e educação: um estudo sobre o lugar do Conselho de Escola

In this text, the results of our research on the geographic location and establishing relationships with the School Council. We consider some legal aspects added to the evidence gathered in our experience to check how much the School Council is constituted as a non-state public place. The possibility of setting up this feature to see a meaning whose strength lies precisely in a healthy tension between the state and established community. Here is the legislation of the School Council of Suzano (SP) and some aspects of our experience from the practice of teaching at a school in Rio das Pedras (SP). We see the nature of the legal meaning assigned to this place from the study of law, considering the municipal, regional and federal levels. In the sphere of Geography use the concepts of Space, Place and City, as issues that are dear to that science. We used the concept of Topofilia to see if this particular place is the development of an individual's sense of belonging, and how it unfolds in the dynamic implications of the operation of this instrument of popular participation in the formulation of public policy education. We discussed the elements observed in these experiments to think about the composition of living environments in urban daily life

Mamíferos de Médio e Grande Porte de Uma RPPN No Município de Jaú, Estado de São Paulo

The medium to large-sized mammals make population control of invertebrates and vertebrates, as well as seed dispersers are also important. Are losing territory and living area because of deforestation and fragmentation of natural areas, mainly in the Atlantic Forest. The RPPN Amadeu Botelho, in the municipality of Jaú, São Paulo State, is one of the last forest remnants of interior paulista. It is isolated from other forest fragments and thus is a wildlife refuge in the region of Jaú, Midwest of the State. Animals as Pumas (Puma concolor), ocelot (Leopardus pardalis), cat-Moorish (Puma yagouaroundi), have already been sighted in the reserve by officials and residents. The buffer property of the farm Santo Antônio dos Ipês, is surrounded by several plantations, and is very close to the Centre of the city of Jaú.
