Perinatal Mortality 2009

The CMACE report Perinatal Mortality 2009 completes a decade of reports from CMACE and its predecessor organizations CESDI and CEMACH. As in previous years, the findings are both heartening and challenging.During the last decade the United Kingdom has seen a dramatic 16%increase in the number of births to just over 790,000 in 2009. Despite promising improvements, there were still 6,600 babies who died during pregnancy or in the first 4 weeks of life in 2009. The impact on mothers and families from such tragedies cannot be overestimated.�

Perinatal and Maternal Mortality report 2009

The findings in this report are based on stillbirths and neonatal deaths with a date of birth between 1 January 2009 and 31 December 2009 notified to CMACE and reported to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). For Trust rates, denominators are based on live births reported to CMACE by hospitals. For Strategic Health Authority (SHA) and country rates, denominators are based on live births reported to ONS and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA).Perinatal mortality rates for 2009 are assigned to a geographical area and are derived using maternal postcode of residence. Findings for Trusts are derived using the place of death, and any deaths at home are allocated to the Trusts that provided the care at the time of death.

This report presents the epidemiological data for tuberculosis cases reported in Northern Ireland.

Médecine d'urgence [Emergency medicine: update 2009].

Emergency medicine is a cross-discipline characterized by its ability to identify critical threats, as well as its ability to prioritize investigations and identify appropriate treatments. Recent publications have been published on upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage, elbow fracture or brain haemorrhage, to optimize and standardize the investigations. In parallel, conditions such as cardiopulmonary arrest, spontaneous pneumothorax or stroke, benefit from recent therapeutic advances. However, emergency physicians and primary care physicians must remain critical of the numerous medical publications, as evidenced by the contradictory results concerning the interaction between proton pump inhibitors and clopidogrel.

HIV and STI surveillance in Northern Ireland 2010: An analysis of data for the calendar year 2009

This annual analysis of data provides an overview of HIV and STI epidemiology in Northern Ireland for the calendar year 2009. Information from a variety of sources is collated and analysed in detail, while any evident trends over time are highlighted�with�graphs and tables. As well as a general summary of STI diagnoses and a number of overall conclusions, the report looks specifically at each of the following STIs: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, genital herpes, genital warts, syphilis, lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) and HIV.

Construcción y explotación de un almacén de datos de información cinematográfica

Este proyecto tiene como finalidad el diseño, el desarrollo y la puesta en marcha de un almacén de datos destinado, tanto al almacenamiento de la información que nuestro cliente la Academia de Cine Andorrana dispone de los diferentes premios de los Festivales cinematográficos más importantes, como al análisis y la explotación de los datos. El proyecto parte del conjunto de documentos en formato Microsoft Excel que la Academia de Cine Andorrana utiliza como repositorio de información cinematográfica, los cuales tras un proceso de análisis y diseño darán lugar a modelo conceptual, lógico y físico de un cubo multidimensional de procesamiento Analítico Relacional o ROLAP en esquema de copo de nieve. Así mismo, el proyecto incluye el diseño y desarrollo de los procesos necesarios de extracción, transformación y carga (ETL) de las fuentes operacionales de información, previamente exportadas a formato CSV, sobre la base de datos multidimensional. Por último, el proyecto contempla la construcción de un área de negocio que sirve como base y entorno de trabajo para el desarrollo de los informes de extracción y explotación de los datos requeridos por la Academia de Cine Andorrana.

Construcció i explotació d'un magatzem de dades d'informació cinematogràfica

Aquest informe es basa en la petició formulada per l'Acadèmia del Cinema Andorrà (ACA) als alumnes de TFC de ETIS i ETIG per a la creació d'un magatzem de dades. Amb aquest nova eina es vol, per una banda, guardar en un únic lloc tota la informació que reben dels diversos festivals de cinema internacionals (Festival Internacional de Cinema de Canes, Festival Internacional de Cinema de Berlín (Berlinale), Premis Cèsar, MTV Movie Awards i Premis de l'Acadèmia), i per una altra banda, possibilitar l'anàlisi de tota la informació cinematogràfica de què disposen.
