A presente pesquisa se propõe a analisar a relação entre a escola e a família na experiência de trabalho do Programa Interdisciplinar de Apoio às Escolas Proinape no município do Rio de Janeiro. A partir de uma abordagem teórica sobre as duas instituições entendidas como fundamentais no processo de socialização dos sujeitos e de como que as relações entre o Estado e a sociedade civil se materializam na esfera da reprodução social na atualidade, este estudo objetiva apresentar as estratégias da nova pedagogia da hegemonia na obtenção do consenso social. Apresenta a educação sob o contexto da hegemonia do capital financeiro e a função educativa do Estado e o papel dos intelectuais na difusão da nova pedagogia da hegemonia vinculada aos interesses da burguesia internacional, sob a gerência direta dos organismos multilaterais. Analisa as formas de intervenção do Estado sobre a família pobre da classe trabalhadora, as dimensões históricas dessa relação, os novos arranjos familiares, a relação entre o Estado e a família na constituição do Pluralismo de bem-estar e do familismo e a diminuição da capacidade protetora das famílias em tempos de reestruturação produtiva. Dá destaque as particularidades da política de educação no Brasil frente às novas exigências do capital monopolista e os reflexos dos programas de ação federais e da gestão privada da política educacional no município do Rio de Janeiro na gestão do prefeito Eduardo Paes. Através do levantamento de dados, da análise documental e dos relatórios de avaliação final das equipes do Proinape da 4 Coordenadoria Regional de Educação expõe as bases legais e os programas sociais que sustentam a ação do Estado junto às famílias pobres da classe trabalhadora na área de educação, assim como as ações da Secretaria Municipal de Educação do Rio de Janeiro junto às famílias com a ênfase no disciplinamento para a elevação dos indicadores educacionais.

A discussion is presented on the topic of statistical data analysis in the field of ecology, emphasizing the importance of computer programmes being user friendly for the ecologist. Particular reference is given to TWINSPAN, CANOCO and PATN and the applications of these programmes to tropical fisheries and coastal zone management.

Este trabalho apresenta e analisa o Consórcio Intermunicipal do Leste Fluminense (CONLESTE), criado em 2006 e composto por dezesseis municípios do estado do Rio de Janeiro, com o objetivo de buscar soluções para os impactos do Complexo Petroquímico da Petrobras (Comperj). Discute a crise do planejamento regional e a ausência de arranjos de gestão do território que atendam às especificidades do pacto federativo brasileiro. Apresenta os consórcios intermunicipais como alternativa utilizada por muitas cidades brasileiras ao modelo obsoleto das Regiões Metropolitanas, sem, contudo, se deter na comprovação da eficiência dos mesmos. Através de uma revisão bibliográfica de autores clássicos e contemporâneos, aborda o controverso conceito de região, como método para compreender a função regional exercida pelo consórcio. Debate a importância das escalas intermediárias em meio à falsa polarização global-local. Reforça a ideia da necessidade de articulação entre as distintas esferas de governo como forma de minimizar os transtornos provocados pelo caos urbano em que vive a população da área do CONLESTE.

Vidas Secas, de Graciliano Ramos é considerada uma obra prima da ficção regional da Literatura Brasileira da Geração de 30. O romance é um documento sobre a vida miserável de uma família de retirantes nordestinos, que sofrem as consequências da seca no sertão. O estudo do vocabulário que permeia a trajetória dessa família gerou as bases para elaboração deste trabalho que tem como objetivo principal a formação de um glossário de termos regionais nordestinos presentes na obra em estudo, a fim de contribuir com um dicionário da ficção do referido autor. Para isso, faz-se necessário discorrer sobre a linguagem literária no Brasil a partir do Romantismo até o Modernismo. Expor a curva evolutiva da tradição regionalista brasileira, na ficção, do Romantismo até o Modernismo, enfatizando autores e obras que participaram do processo de criação e evolução do gênero em foco

This is the first report from the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee meeting, which was held on the 29th April, 1974. The report looks at sections on estimates for the anticipated income and expenditure on fisheries for the current year, the structure of fisheries in the region, and a list of the fisheries in the ownership of the North West Water Authority. Also covered is information relating to fishery and sea fishery byelaws, license duties and a summary of the current activity and the future plans for the committee. The Fisheries Advisory Committee was part of the Regional Water Authorities, in this case the North West Water Authority. This preceded the Environment Agency which came into existence in 1996.

The report contains information on the appointment of the Regional Fisheries Advisory Committee (1975-1976), the appointment of the Local Fisheries Advisory Committee (1975-1976), and the land drainage representation on Local Fisheries Committees. Also included in the report is information on fishery byelaws, fishing at Jumble Reservoir and a progress report on a proposed Coarse Fish Unit and coarse fish stock pools. Licence duties, long term angling leases on Authority Waters and radio equipment for Bailiffting Staff are also covered.
