Rumo à gestão estratégica de recursos humanos? Estudo de caso em uma organização pública paulista

This article aims to analyze the use of human resource practices in a public organization in Sao Paulo. In this paper we try to answer the question: is the human resource management in the organization Y compatible with the new strategic issues this area? We adopted a qualitative approach, through case study. The primary data were obtained through interviews and secondary data were obtained through analysis of information and documents provided by the studied organization as well as direct observation of organizational routine. The results indicate that, despite the organization uses the term strategic human resources management, it is focused on legal and operational issues. The human resource practices are not integrated and some practices do not exist (career plan and training). Thus, it is believed that if the organization adopts some of the improvements suggested in this article, it will be walking toward a more strategic human resource management entering in the new public management.

Elaboração de um sistema de informações georreferenciadas para o planejamento urbano: estudo de caso - centros educacionais de Bauru

The objective of this paper is to show the development of a Geographic Information System (SIG) for the management of the Educational Centers of the city of Bauru. Currently, the Educational Centers and Assistance Institutes, public or private, in Brazilian cities have some problems, for example: they have no money to manage their institutions and they have no correct form to organize and to store the information. Because of these problems, we developed a system which will manage some informations for these institutions and local authority. This system will allow visualizing the data in the internet by the community. This pilot project has used the softwares SPRING 4.1 e SPRINGWEB 3.0.

Gestão do conhecimento e recursos humanos em bibliotecas universitárias brasileiras e portuguesas

The Knowledge Management represents a new vision of management of organizations, since information and knowledge are the main factors of competitiveness, today, of individuals, organizations and nations. The university plays a key role alongside with government and industry in the generation of technological innovations that can help the society progress, and the University Library is an important disseminator of scientific information. The main challenges of organizations involved in Knowledge Management are concentrated in the management of cultural and behavioral changes of its human resources and in creating an environment conducive to create, use and share information and knowledge. Within this context the question arises: How do University Libraries in Brazil and Portugal employ people management and knowledge management in order to improve the quality of its services and the productivity of their institutions? To answer it we developed a descriptive-analytic research, using the method of comparative study, analyzing 69 organizations. According to the survey results, the people management issues were the worst assessed in relation to other aspects of Knowledge Management, showing a weak dissemination of these practices in the University Libraries of Brazil and Portugal and the great need for initiatives to help develop them.

Um estudo exploratório sobre o infotretenimento como estratégia na produção de conteúdos regionais para telejornalismo digital

Este artigo trata de uma pesquisa exploratória, de cunho bibliográfico, com o objetivo de estabelecer relações entre os conceitos de Telejornalismo Regional em TV Digital (TVD) com o gênero do Infotretenimento, definido como o modelo de programa que adota a fórmula de uma produção híbrida, seguindo uma linha que se situa entre informação e entretenimento. Considerando-se que, do ponto de vista do produtor de conteúdos comunicacionais, a “Era da Digitalização” requer um aperfeiçoamento e uma devida utilização dos recursos disponibilizados pela TVD, o artigo torna-se relevante, pois abre o caminho para se pensar numa programação para a TVD, antes mesmo de sua efetiva possibilidade de produção e programação. Pretende-se com este artigo pesquisar as ferramentas necessárias que justifiquem a possibilidade de um telejornal regional interativo atrair o seu público-alvo para as informações noticiadas por esse veículo.

Aplicação de um método ergonômico para avaliação da permanência e atratividade em espaço público aberto: estudo de caso Parque Vitória Régia, Bauru - SP

There are several researches on evaluation of urban public space, but not all establish a relationship between the configuration of spaces with the thermal environment, ergonomics and environmental behavior of users. To understand this relationship, the aim of this paper is to present the model DEPAN (Design for Permanence and Attractiveness in niches open spaces of conviviality), based on graphical meshes, which were designed to evaluate the influence of design and ergonomics of open public spaces in the human thermal comfort and the ways in which users appropriate the space. Its applicability is demonstrated through a case study conducted in a park in the city of Bauru-SP. To perform this evaluation public space niches were chosen. They were formed by morphological elements and street furniture and defined by their spatial arrangements. The collected data were incorporated into a Geographic Information System (GIS), which allowed the overlay of meshes. The results indicate that the DEPAN model allows the verification of the spatial characteristics, thermal quality and ergonomic design generated by spaces, as well as the evaluation of the influence of these aspects in the way of using the spaces. The model allows the generation of a classification for every niche and set a value for the level of service offered.

Democracia digital e redes sociais: Twitter como filtro de informação política

The internet, with its hypertext and multimedia features, can be a support for the dissemination of information in an attractive way, which may contribute to the strengthening of democracy. Recent innovation, social networks have been explored also as a resource to attract the interest of the broader public to information about public policies. This paper presents and discusses the results of an empirical study which assessed, through content analysis, the breadth and depth of information offered by the Sao Paulo state government and the federal government in texts accessed through Twitter to publicize purposes, lines of action and limits of public policy in the areas of welfare, health, education and environment . The results indicate that the information available tend to focus mainly on goals, resources and current actions of policies, whereas there can be found few data on planned features, relation between cost and effectiveness and user satisfaction.
