Note additionnelle sur les espèces de Chlorodopsis (Brachyures)

The present paper completes the authors’ studies (1958) on the species of Chlorodopsis of Viet-Nam. It gives observations on the new specimens collected previously and of a new species. It exposes the results of the observations on specimens communicated to the authors by the Museum of Paris, the Indian Museum of Calcutta and the Bishop Museum of Honolulu. These specimens include the syntypes of Chl. melanochira and Chl. Woodmasoni and some samples of another species not yet recorded on the Viet-Nam seashores. The taxonomic position of various species is revised and species maintained by Balss (1938) in the genus Pilodius are included in the genus Chlorodopsis. The authors give a new key to separate all the species of the genus Chlorodopsis.

Observations sur les premiers pléopodes males d'espèces d'Actea (Brachyures) du Viêt-Nam

Few observations on the first male Pleopode of the genus Actea are available. Examining the possibility of using their characteristics for a taxonomic work, the authors expose the obtained data on the subject and describe the Pleopods of 18 species of Actea collected on the Viet-Nam seashores. A tentative to define the different types of Pleopods gives a new argument to consider and recognize the genus Banareia as a distinct genus of Actea.

Les espèces de Carpilodes (Brachyura-Xanthidae) du Viêt-Nam

The authors have identified 18 species of the genus Carpilodes, collected on the Viet-Nam sea shores; three species and one variety are new. A key for the identification of the thirty species and two varieties of the genus is associated with the description of the new forms. The pleopods 1 of the male for the great part of the species identified in Viet-Nam sea shores are figured.

Note sur Branchiostegus tollardi (Chabanaud)

Latilus tollardi Chabanaud 1924 has been described for some specimens from the Nhatrang's market. The authors record a lot of new specimens of the same locality and give the illustration of one specimen. The species is probably a synonym of Branchiostegus sericeus Herre 1935 recorded from the Hong Kong’s market. Neither one nor other species have been figured before.

Sur quelques especes rares de Brachyures (Leucosidae) de l'Indo-Pacifique (2è partie)

In the first part, some rare samples of Leucosidae, belonging to the collection of Nhatrang Institute of Oceanography, have been studied; some of them are included in the subfamily Ebaliinae. This note examines various species of this subfamily which were not described in the previous study.

Directive cadre sur l’eau - Bassin Loire-Bretagne. Contrôle de surveillance dans les masses d’eau côtières et de transition. Actions menées par Ifremer en 2014

Le contrôle de surveillance 2014 pour la DCE appliquée dans les eaux littorales de Loire Bretagne a porté sur les 25 masses d’eau côtières (sur 39 au total) et les 16 masses d’eau de transition (sur 30 au total) retenues au titre du contrôle de surveillance. L’ensemble des résultats acquis, aussi bien sur les paramètres biologiques que chimiques, a permis de mettre à jour l’évaluation de l’état des masses d’eau affiché sur l’atlas DCE accessible sur la page web d’Envlit correspondante.

Studies on plankton have been conducted by the Oceanographic Institute of Indochina since 1926. The present note gives the results obtained during fishing activities from 1938 to 1942.

Les pagures du Vietnam

The main purpose of the Oceanographic Institute of Nhatrang aimed to make an inventory of the marine fauna of Vietnam in order to increase the collection kept at the National Museum. The present note deals with detailed descriptions 32 species of hermit crabs belonging to the family of Paguridae collected on the Vietnamese coasts.

Les hapalocarcinidés du Viet-Nam

Serene (1936) and Dawydoff (1952) reported several species of Hapalocarcinids on Indochina corals. This study does not aim to a revision of known species, but a preparatory work for next revisions. A great part of their work was dedicated to the description of species; two preliminary notes had already described 12 new species. This work interested 22 species, 6 already known, 12 already described briefly and 4 new.

Qualification des données acquises par la station de mesure MOLIT en baie de Vilaine entre mars et octobre 2015

Ce rapport présente les éléments qui ont conduit à la qualification des données acquises en 2015 par la station de mesure haute fréquence MOLIT (Mer Ouverte Littoral). La bouée MOLIT est déployée depuis 2008 en baie de Vilaine, une des zones de la côte atlantique les plus menacées par l’eutrophisation. Cette bouée instrumentée constitue un des systèmes de mesure du réseau de mesure haute fréquence Ifremer HOSEA (High frequency Observation network for the environment in coastal SEAs). Cette station est équipée d’une sonde multiparamètre qui mesure les paramètres température, salinité, oxygène dissous, turbidité et fluorescence. Les mesures sont effectuées à deux niveaux (surface et fond) avec une fréquence d’une mesure horaire. Ce rapport synthétise les informations qui ont permis de qualifier les données sur le site des réseaux eulériens d’Ifremer (Coriolis) : contrôles in-situ, historique des opérations de maintenance, constats de vérification des sondes avant et après campagne. Les données ont été qualifiées en quatre états : 1-BON, 2-MOYEN, 3-DOUTEUX, 4-MAUVAIS.

Observations biologiques sur les Stomatopodes

The present study deals with a systemic revision of Stomatopods belonging to the collection of the Institut Oceanographique de Nhatrang (Vietnam).

Profile and treatment outcomes of patients with tuberculosis in Northeastern Ethiopia: a cross sectional study.

Background: Data on the epidemiology of tuberculosis and its treatment outcomes were incomplete in the study area and this study was done to fill this gap. Methods: Institution based cross sectional study was conducted from January 2011 to December 2014. A total of 949 TB patients who were on treatment in North Eastern Ethiopia, Eastern Amhara region were included. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 20. Frequency, percentages and means were used to present data. To assess the associations of treatment outcomes with sex, age, type of TB and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), logistic regression was used. Results: The proportion of smear positive and negative pulmonary TB, and extra pulmonary TB were 187/949 (19.7%), 322/949 (33.9%) and 440/949 (46.4%), respectively. Treatment success rate was 853/949 (89.9%). Smear positive pulmonary TB and TB/HIV co-infections were significantly associated with unsuccessful treatment outcome, P≤ 0.002. Conclusion: Extra pulmonary TB was the most prevalent types of TB followed by smear negative pulmonary TB. Treatment success rate was above the WHO target of 85%. The causes for the high proportion of smear negative PTB and EPTB should be further investigated. Special emphasis should be put on smear positive PTB patients and TB/HIV co-infected patients to decrease unsuccessful treatment outcome and TB transmissions.
