Zoneamentos agroecológicos e seus reflexos no desenvolvimento da produção agrícola familiar municipal no estado do Pará: a questão da seguridade alimentar da população local

A região amazônica representa atualmente um conjunto de conflitos de interesses, que apresentam como eixos centrais à questão ecológica e a necessidade de garantir a sobrevivência da população local municipal. O presente trabalho discute a eficiência, eficácia e efetividade de parte dos Zoneamentos Agroecológicos realizados pela Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária EMBRAPA, através de sua Unidade Descentralizada no Pará, Centro de Pesquisa Agroflorestal da Amazônia Oriental Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, nos anos de 1975, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 e 2004, quando atendeu dezenas de solicitações, por parte de gestores municipais, estaduais e federais (Instituições e governos), do Estado do Pará, no que tange aos reflexos do seu uso ou desuso, como instrumento de planejamento para o desenvolvimento endógeno desses municípios, principalmente àqueles ligados a garantia da seguridade alimentar da população neles residentes, de produtos como: Arroz (Oriza sativa) e Feijão (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), produzidos por pequenos produtores familiares, que segundo Costa (1973) trata-se do grupo formado por aqueles agricultores que utilizam módulos de terra de até duzentos hectares, e, que noventa e cinco por cento da mão-de-obra... ocupada com as atividades agrícolas, é familiar. Nessa pesquisa, serão avaliados os zoneamentos ecológicoeconômicos dos municípios, pertencentes à microrregião de Paragominas: Abel Figueirêdo, Rondon do Pará, Paragominas e Bom Jesus do Tocantins. De antemão, sabe-se que somente os ZEE, não representam in totum, uma panacéia (remédio para todos os males), mas trata-se de uma ferramenta potente para planificar o uso do território e da terra e ajudaria bastante quando utilizado para definição das áreas potencialmente promissoras para produção de alimentos básicos.

A filosofia do direito no sistema filosófico hegeliano

The Hegelian philosophy is presented as a progress in relation to other philosophies and it offers to take in itself all the other demonstrations. Thereby, Hegel intends to carry out his philosophical effort towards the establishment of a philosophical system. It is a comprehension recognized and exposed by Hegel in his doctoral thesis, i.e., that philosophy only becomes possible as a system. In this sense, the treatment dispensed to each one of his works necessarily evokes a relationship with all other. An work taken in isolation gets the feeling that something else should be presented, however, every work written by Hegel also contemplates a relation with his other works. In this sense, the objective here is to considerate Hegel’s Philosophy of Law in his philosophical system seeking to explicit its specific place, as well as its transit among the works of the thinker as a whole. The Philosophy of Law finds its particular moment in the ambit of the objective spirit or during the subjective spirit’s effectuation. However, it is assumed here the perspective that the Philosophy of Law represents, as the objective spirit does, a moment of mediation as well as a there-being whereby the absolute spirit’s effectuation would happen. Furthermore, Hegel’s Philosophy represents the presentation of what he considers as extremely important in philosophy, that is precisely, the need to sublate the separation between man and the world. It is not enough for Hegel, the affirmation of the being and the thinking in itself, but it is required to confirm them in their being other that will be evinced being itself. Thus, Philosophy is given as a reconstruction or as the factual knowledge as a science ceasing to be so only love of learning. This means in other words that philosophy deals with the world, in the world and for the world being much more than a speech to the world to be the talk of the world itself. If philosophy is the owl of Minerva who always arrives late, she does it for the reasons of the other to be recognized.

Embolization of splenorenal shunt associated to portal vein thrombosis and hepatic encephalopathy

Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is a cognitive disturbance characterized by neuropsychiatric alterations. It occurs in acute and chronic hepatic disease and also in patients with portosystemic shunts. The presence of these portosystemic shunts allows the passage of nitrogenous substances from the intestines through systemic veins without liver depuration. Therefore, the embolization of these shunts has been performed to control HE manifestations, but the presence of portal vein thrombosis is considered a contraindication. In this presentation we show a cirrhotic patient with severe HE and portal vein thrombosis who was submitted to embolization of a large portosystemic shunt. Case report: a 57 years-old cirrhotic patient who had been hospitalized many times for persistent HE and hepatic coma, even without precipitant factors. She had a wide portosystemic shunt and also portal vein thrombosis. The abdominal angiography confirmed the splenorenal shunt and showed other shunts. The larger shunt was embolized through placement of microcoils, and the patient had no recurrence of overt HE. There was a little increase of esophageal and gastric varices, but no endoscopic treatment was needed. Since portosystemic shunts are frequent causes of recurrent HE in cirrhotic patients, portal vein thrombosis should be considered a relative contraindication to perform a shunt embolization. However, in particular cases with many shunts and severe HE, we found that one of these shunts can be safely embolized and this procedure can be sufficient to obtain a good HE recovery. In conclusion, we reported a case of persistent HE due to a wide portosystemic shunt associated with portal vein thrombosis. O Relações Públicas e a comunicação organizacional: um estudo exploratório nas agências de São José dos Campos

The field of social communication, especially the one of Public Relations, seems to be unknown and not so recognized and explored in Brazil, even though these professionals are trained to operate in different kinds of organizations. Because of that, it is important for the Public Relations to know the demands of the market he or she wants to work on. Therefore, an exploratory study was conducted in agencies in São José dos Campos, São Paulo. The project objectives are to identify the communicational demands from the communication agencies’ point of view, get to know the work field for Public Relations, verify if the professional attends the market demands and identify market needs in communication. The methodology used was: bibliographical search of theories concerning organizational communication, communication agencies and Public Relations; and a field research in five agencies that provide services related to organizational communication, for recognizing reality. The data obtained shows that organizational communication is a growing field and in which the Public Relation has much to contribute, but unawareness of the profession results in a small number of professionals working in the area

Aforização no discurso de autoajuda

In this paper, based on Maingueneau’s (2006, 2010) thoughts on aphorisation and on the differences between aphorising and textual enunciation, we analyze some detached utterances from the self-help discourse, by highlighting some of their meaning effects and their role in such discourse. The analysis shows that the aphorising detachments support the self-help discourse enunciator in the process of guiding the interlocutors. Such aphorizing detachments allow the enunciator to give order as if he or she were enunciating the truth, which attenuates the enunciator’s authoritative character, who is supposed to give order explicitly. Moreover, such utterances activate the play between “to say and not to say,” by simulating that the self-help discourse is based on an undeniable truth, which reinforces its persuasive power.
