Spills can ocurr during oil productive chain and contaminate various environments due to the toxicity of monoaromatics hidrocarbons. Toluene stands out for being agressive to the nervous sistem and teratogenic, with high mobility and solubility in water, which facilitates environmental impact. Studies show that fungi are potential aromatic compounds assimilators, encouraging new researches about its use on the recovery of contaminated sites. This study aimed to select and characterize fungus with potential for biorremediation of toluene. 50 fungi were selected of the Collection of Microorganisms of Interest for Oil Gas and Biofuels, of UNESP Rio Claro, all of which were isolated from sites contaminated with monoaromatic hydrocarbons. Two trials were realized to select the microorganism with greater potential. The first test evaluated fungal growth under toluene saturated atmosphere. 24 fungi were chosen because its greater biomass production to participate in the next trial, the degradation in plates test, where the blue redox agente, DCPIP, indicates the degradation reaction, turning colorless. From this teste was possible to select one isolate which showed higher growth and stronger medium discoloration as the microorganism with the greatest potential to assimilate toluene. The Trichoderma cf. koningii had its potential evaluated through gas cromatography. The experiment proved the efficiency of the methodology, with positives results from the method validation and the effectiveness demonstrated of the LA-PHA-PACK bottles to prevent the volatilization of toluene during the 21 days of experiment. Being reliable its use for monitoring toluene decay associating it with degradation. This results are important because there aren't many methodologies and vials efficient to the purpose of this work. O futebol é uma das modalidades mais praticadas no mundo. Atualmente, estima-se que se tenha cerca de 3,5 bilhões de praticantes desta modalidade, sejam eles de forma profissional, ou no âmbito do lazer. Por consequência, o futebol torna-se um grande influenciador do comportamento social de crianças e adolescentes, transmitindo elementos para interpretação do mundo, confrontando, muitas vezes, com a escola e a família na formação de valores. Através das mídias, o futebol é disseminado mundo afora, por meio de transmissão de jogos, cobertura de campeonatos, programas exclusivos de futebol e publicidade, em que são exploradas as imagens dos atletas para venda dos mais variados produtos. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse estudo se pautou num levantamento, em que foram analisadas propagandas publicitárias nacionais ocorridas nos meses de Junho, Julho e Agosto de 2014, em mídia impressa, buscando compreender o tipo de publicidade exercida e quais jogadores ficaram em evidência. Para isso, a metodologia deste estudo foi do tipo qualitativa e descritiva, em que realizou-se uma análise documental acerca dos principais referenciais da área investigada, como reportagens e propagandas em jornal (Folha de São Paulo) e revistas (IstoÉ e Veja). Os resultados obtidos culminaram em três categorias temáticas, sendo elas: atletas atuais x atletas antigos; atletas cobertos x desnudos: corpos que são vendidos?; e tamanho da publicidade e relação com o megaevento. Na primeira categoria, viu-se ambas as gerações tiveram suas imagens associadas a atletas campeões, como forma de incentivo à busca do hexacampeonato. Na segunda categoria, verificou-se que os corpos dos atletas vendiam mais que produtos, vendiam status, eram retratados como símbolos a serem alcançados. Por fim, na última categoria, foram encontradas evidências que tanto o tamanho quanto as características das publicidades foram distintas no decorrer da Copa do Mundo...

There is a great global concern about the depletion and the high cost of fossil fuel reserves exploitation, more than ever, it is necessary to make a profound study and take advantage of alternative sources that can be used as energy efficiency with an appropriate pricing and low environmental impact. Brazil, which has highlighted using alternative energy sources as the use of ethanol and, in recent years, has been encouraging the expansion of its energy matrix in which the biodiesel will have a strategic importance within the agrobusiness area. Biodiesel is a fuel that can replace the diesel, which is a petroleum derivative. It is an ester, produced in the transesterification reaction of vegetable oils and animal greases, in an alcohol with an additional catalyst, are converted into fatty acids and result in esters with glycerol as sub products. The objective of this study was to estimate the final energy balance for the process biodiesel production from oil chicken waste. The energy balance estimation was quantified in calorific value according to the energy expenditure by calorimetric bomb method. The relationship between input and output of energy was around 0.97. In a first evaluation, the procedures adopted should be improved enough, so the process can become energetic and economically viable.

This study used a multi-analytical approach based on traditional microbiological methods for cultivation and isolation of heterotrophic bacteria in the laboratory associated with the molecular identification of the isolates and physicochemical analysis of environmental samples. The model chosen for data integration was supported by knowledge from computational neuroscience, and composed by three modules: (i) microbiological parameters, contemplating taxonomic data obtained from the partial sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene from 80 colonies of heterotrophic bacteria isolated by plating method in PCA media. For bacterial colonies isolation were used water samples from Atibaia and Jaguarí rivers collected at the site of water captation for use in effluent treatment, upstream from the entrance of treated effluent from the Paulínia refinery (REPLAN/Petrobras) located in the Paulínia-SP municipality, from the output of the biological treatment plant with stabilization pond and from the raw refinery wastewater; (ii) chemical parameters, ending measures of dissolved oxygen (DO), chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chloride, acidity CaCO3, alkalinity, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, dissolved ions, sulfides, oils and greases; and (iii) physical parameters, comprising the pH determination, conductivity, temperature, transparency, settleable solids, suspended and soluble solids, volatile material, remaining fixing material (RFM), apparent color and turbidity. The results revealed interesting theoretical relationships involving two families of bacteria (Carnobacteriaceae and Aeromonadaceae). Carnobacteriaceae revealed positive theoretical relationships with COD, BOD, nitrate, chloride, temperature, conductivity and apparent color and negative theoretical relationships with the OD.
