The Cerrado is home to important biodiversity areas in the state of Sao Paulo. Therefore, research on the reproduction of species of this biome are essential to help conservation programs. Pollination is the main mechanism by which outcrossing plants perpetuate their populations, and the attractive, such as nectar, are of vital importance to many anthophilous animals and essential to the maintenance of interactions with pollinators. In this context, the objective of this study was to investigate the ecological dynamics of secretion and sugar composition of floral nectar in Zeyheria montana, an ornithophilous exclusive Cerrado species, visited preferentially by Colibri serrirostris, also exclusive to this biome. This dynamic was assessed in isolated flowers in pre-anthesis, using microsyringes to collect nectar and manual refractometer to measure the concentration. Experiments were carried out to evaluate production throughout anthesis, including the assessment of total daily production, the effect of successive removal, the rate of production during the day and night and changes in concentration and composition of sugars, which was performed in HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). The rate of nectar production was about three times greater at night with a concentration two times lower, resulting in a supply of large amounts of dilute nectar in the early morning hours, peak of visitation for hummingbirds. Moreover, the production of nectar was more pronounced before the anthesis, and is available to visitors already in newly opened flowers, which are preferentially visited by C. serrirostris. There was an increase in the nectar production of flowers in the group with successive manual removal upon the control group, suggesting that the withdrawal by visitors stimulates the production, ensuring the availability of the resource including flowers previously visited... From an analysis to develop personal skills, Baja SAE Project has its own characteristics and essential for professional practice, however, not specific to the engineering course. Marketing de relacionamento e relações públicas: uma aplicação no serviço de pós-venda da Embraer Executive Jets

The present study aims to investigate the interrelationship between the Relationship Marketing and Public Relations areas, high lighting its strategic value. The main goal is to discuss how the public relations professional can manage the customer loyalty by improving the after-sales services provided, applying it to a specific market such as business a viation. To establish the foundation to support the hypotheses, a revision of the subject literature was made, seeking to break down the barriers between marketing-mainly of relationship and public relations knowledge fields. A consult of the relevant literature was a continuous activity throughout the work. Divided into three chapters, the two first ones of fundamentals concepts, presents an after-sales services scenario, emphasizing the importance of the relationship and the definition of audiences in this area, in addition to a detailed description of the luxury market, a business aviation reality. The third chapter ends the discussion with a relationship proposal for Embraer Executive Jets, through actions based on the studied concepts. By gathering ideas and reflecting about the subject, using them to develop the proposal, a conclusion was resulted: the public relations professional is prepared and essential to build an effective after-sales relationship, since it's concerned about the communication excellence and knows the audiences significance in this process

Contribuição das águas subterrâneas para a vazão do Ribeirão Boa Vista ou Córrego do Lajeado

This paper aimed to give a contribution to improve water resources management, consists of the analysis of interaction among groundwater and streamflow, by through the analysis of the relationship between basic and total streamflow, based on measured hidrological data from Ribeirão Boa Vista or Córrego Lajeado. watershed. Comparisons among groundwaterflow in this basin with another one in Rio Corumbataí basin were made based on the specific basic flow, in order to verify the possibility of the utilization of measured hydrological data in other basins with similar geological characteristics and soil use and occupation. Based upon the comparisons that were made, specific basic flow does not represent a good tool for extrapolation of measured data, indicating that this comparison shall be weighted by others characteristics as permeability and thickness of geological formations. Finally, it was possible to conclude that basic flow may be considered as an additional parameter for analysis of hydrological and hydrogeological characteristics of a basin and to provide subsidies to release legal licenses for water resources uses. related to surface water as well as for groundwater and may also be used as a tool for consolidation of integrated management of water resources, that is considered as a necessary and essential practice to avoid conflicts between users of water resources in a river basin.

Contribuições da psicologia histórico-cultural para a pedagogia histórico-crítica

This article aims to show elements based on historical-cultural psychology, which are reiterative of historically systematized scientific knowledge transmission as condition of human development and essential function of school education. In that way, it points the sign appropriation as decisive mark in the natural psychic basis overcoming towards to culturally established psychophysical properties formation, characterizing the psychism as an interfuncional system answerable for the constitution of the subjective image of objective reality. In the face of such presuppositions, it firms the role of school education in the mentioned image formation, highlighting the qualitative differences resultant of education based to quotidian and spontaneous concepts, as well as scientific ones. It pleads that the defense of sign quality offered to appropriation by school education is the main intersection point between the historical-cultural psychology and the historical-critical pedagogy.

The purpose of this paper is to show some characteristics and essential information related to the Brazilian periodicals in the 19th century Revista Popular (1859-1862) and Jornal das Famílias (1863-1878), whose owner was the Frenchman Baptiste Louis Garnier. By that time the proliferation of periodicals attracts attention mainly because several of them had ephemeral existence, in opposition to Garnier’s periodicals which as a whole amount to 19 years in circulation. The research on these periodicals becomes relevant since they are well succeeded publications whose study makes possible the widening of the knowledge on social and cultural aspects of a very important period in Brazilian society.

This text, essayistic character, aims to make some reflections on the dispute or supposed conflict that exists between two elements that have become essential in the constitution of the philosophical domain, in order to assess their contribution in the ethical field. On the one hand, we find the rational dimension, which is marked and has acquired certain predominance in western thought. On the other hand, the dimension of passion, that throughout the history of philosophy, has been subject to exclusion and devaluation, making it as if it were an obstacle to the formulation of ideas and universal values true and substantial. If one looks at the world seeing them or giving it a necessary and essential character, the other tends to recognize the contingent aspect of reality, seeing in it the possibility of accidental and uncertain.
