Na busca por articulações entre psicanálise e práticas culturais – aqui representadas pela magia do cinema – o presente trabalho propõe uma releitura do filme Encontros e Desencontros, utilizando-o como interlocutor privilegiado para uma discussão acerca do trato com a alteridade. Mais especificamente, direcionaremos nosso olhar para a possibilidade, presente tanto na clínica analítica quanto no filme em questão, do encontro com o inominável de si mesmo por intermédio de um estrangeiro. Trata-se de um entrechoque dialético entre o estranho mais íntimo e o íntimo mais estranho, este último vinculado ao processo primário, à lógica do inconsciente. Diante disto, aposta-se aqui que, muito embora esta não familiaridade em geral apareça vinculada a uma desconfortável angústia, possamos vislumbrar para ela uma outra expressão: aquela de potência construtiva rumo à abertura de sentido.

A criação de Projetos de Assentamento Agroextrativistas (PAE) vem possibilitando a regularização fundiária de apossamentos praticados por comunidades tradicionais na Amazônia. Em 2005, foi criado pelo INCRA no município de Santarém-PA, o PAE Lago Grande, que com seus 290.000 hectares e seus 30.000 habitantes corresponde a um dos maiores assentamentos de reforma agrária já criado no Brasil. Nesse contexto, este trabalho teve por objetivo adaptar métodos participativos de elaboração de cenários para a realidade da Amazônia. Cenários são narrativas sobre o futuro, que podem ser construídos com uma variedade de técnicas e objetivos e têm sido utilizados em diferentes contextos, desde planejamento de negócios por empresas a análises ambientais. Buscou-se analisar se este processo pode ser efetivo como ferramenta de apoio a consolidação de diferentes unidades territoriais da região. Para tanto, o PAE Lago Grande foi utilizado como estudo de caso. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que existe grande potencial para a replicação da metodologia adotada em outras modalidades de assentamentos de reforma agrária e em unidades de conservação de uso sustentável.

Envolver-se em estados de engajamento social com seus cuidadores é um déficit central de crianças com autismo. Este estudo verificou a efetividade de uma intervenção com cuidadores para a promoção de engajamento social em suas crianças com autismo. As interações de sete díades foram filmadas antes, durante e após a intervenção para registro da duração de onze estados de engajamento da atenção infantil, categorizados como social (ES) ou não social (ENS). Oito horas de intervenção foram divididas em encontros grupais e em monitoramentos individuais. Após a intervenção foram observadas diferenças significativas no aumento de ES e na diminuição de ENS e esses ganhos foram mantidos na avaliação de seguimento. O aumento em ES estava positivamente associado ao grau de adesão das cuidadoras ao tratamento. Concluímos que intervenções de curta duração podem capacitar cuidadores como mediadores competentes para aumentar engajamentos sociais.

This article, through the revision of literature in the areas of Information Science and Administration, sought to rescue the theoretical yardstick about leadership, motivation, team works, competences, abilities and attitudes of leader. Beyond that was elaborated an exploratory study with directors/managers of university libraries. From the analysis of literature selected and the exploratory research, infers that the leader which works in units of information can develop some actions that are going to motivate the team, to which leads, as by example: implant participatory programs; establish challenging goals; encourage works in group; promote turnaround of post and functions; create results disclosure systems; stimulate the creativity; promote a good environment at work; promote education and training individual/group; defined clearly the responsibilities; delegate authority consciously, charge results; and others possibilities. In this manner, understands that leader that works in units of information is going to know the factors that enable the motivation of the team. For so much, it is necessary observe the aspirations of his collaborators and verify if organization has been capable of satisfy them. In that sense, falls to the informational professional qualify itself for perform that function.

A importância do estudo da paleontologia está no seu caráter integrador, reunindo conhecimentos de várias áreas, o que pode contribuir para que os alunos do ensino básico entendam a história da vida no planeta, encarando a evolução como um processo contínuo e bem evidenciado no qual também estamos inseridos. No contexto de pequena presença do ensino da paleontologia na Educação Básica, outros espaços de educação não formal ganham força na transmissão desses conhecimentos à população e, dentre estes espaços, na área da paleontologia, encontram-se as exposições de fósseis. Estas permitem que os conhecimentos desenvolvidos na universidade e que normalmente ficam restritos ao âmbito universitário sejam levadas ao conhecimento de um grande número de alunos, contribuindo para a formação e alfabetização científica. A partir desta perspectiva, o presente estudo teve como objetivo o desenvolvimento e a avaliação de uma exposição de fósseis e réplicas para os alunos do ensino básico da rede pública das escolas de Botucatu e região. Através dessa exposição, chamada Paleo Expo, pretendeu-se que os alunos conhecessem a história da vida na Terra, tivessem contato com os principais eventos evolutivos e entendessem a evolução como um processo contínuo e bem evidenciado, contribuindo para o enriquecimento dos conhecimentos dos visitantes, aguçando a curiosidade e gerando reflexões. A exposição, destinada a alunos de sexta a oitava series do ensino fundamental, priorizou a participação ativa dos alunos e contou também com atividades complementares, que consistiram em um jogo educativo e uma apresentação de informações sobre como são realizadas as pesquisas em paleontologia. A Paleo Expo, de um modo geral, atingiu seus objetivos e os alunos se mostraram estimulados e participativos. Pode-se considerar, pelos dados coletados, que a experiência... It was investigated how the conceptions of PT for the educational area defended in national meetings of the party have configured as policies in the City Hall of São Paulo during 1989-1992. It was made an analysis of official documents and measures adopted by the Municipal Education Secretariat. Then, it could be concluded that the priorities of implementation of the PT proposal entitled popular public school were based on four categories: Democratization of Management; New Quality of Teaching; Movement of Adult and Youth Literacy (MOVA) and Democratization Access.

This article is to discuss the evaluative perspectives from which it is possible and convenient evaluate the Participatory Budgets (PBs) and the participatory institutions (PIs) that are being experienced in Brazil since the last two decades of the last century. It is proposed an integrated perspective of evaluation of PBs and PIs, in order to avoid partial and biased conclusions, especially those which are based solely or primarily on quantitative methodologies. This discussion is necessary since, in the past five years, the criticism of these experiments has been increasing. Through critical and creative reflection, in essay form, and based on the recent literature on the topic, it is concluded by the need to adopt, in the empirical evaluation, an integrated approach of evaluation of the PBs and the PIs, such as it is proposed in this article. It is conclude also which is fundamental for the theoretical advancement on the subject dedicate special attention to the desirability or not of adopting the criterion of popular participation in government decisions under representative democracy, since it is refuted by public choice and defended by neo-republicanism.

Participatory Budgeting (PB) is an innovative methodology of public budget management. It includes the common citizen in decision-making process, which does not happen in traditional budget processes. PB emerged in Brazil in the last two decades of the last century (Porto Alegre’s experience is the best known model) and spread to several countries since then. The spread of the practice has produced significant changes in relation to the original proposals, requiring the efforts of analysts to identify them in different situations, carried out by different political actors, with different objectives. Pires and Pineda (2008a) proposed a typology of PB sought to contemplate the experiences from the simplest to the most daring and less sophisticated to the pretentious, so as to allow assessment of the maximum number of cases. In this article the Spanish experiences of PB are characterized from this typology, highlighting its most relevant aspects. It is a useful study to understand the evolution of PB in Spain, but also to continue the effort to better define what is and can become the participatory budget as a possible tool for improving the management of local public finance and democracy

The article searches to launch some analyses and investigations on the historical reach of produced participative processes in Spain and Brazil. Evidently, both the processes if had uncurled in historical, social, economic contexts and distinct politicians, but, exactly thus, keep some approaches that we intend to give prominence in the present article. For example, the popular mobilization in the two presented cases after occurred a long period of not attendance of social demands socials. In the same way, the processes of democratic renewal of both are related with historical landmarks “end of the Cold War” and the dismantlement of the Walfare State that introduced new rationalists in the relation between governing and governed dynamic, over all in the coinage and offer of public politics. How much to the dismantlement of the Welfare State, we present, still, that in the case of Spain it provoked consequences in the modus operandi of the formularization process and implementation of public politics. It occurred, in other words, a decentralization of its formulator power to decide arrangement of public politics that started to count on the participation of social actors in the called relational city (BECERRA, 2011). In the case of Brazil, the dictatorial period (1964-1985), the fast urban growth and the generation of precarious peripheries in the main cities, the distension and the Constituent (1986-1988) had generated the enough forces of pressure so that, gradually, if it incorporated the participative arrangement in the power to decide process. We identify that in both the cases, kept the had ratios, the instauration of a critical scene of suppression/absence of formulated public politics from an interface with the social movements were the propeller spring of the transformations in the power to decide mechanisms of formularization and implementation of public politics.
