We live in a world inherently influenced by technology and in which education is immersed in realities made possible by the support of digital technologies, such as electronic mobile devices. Thus, the general aim of this study lies in mapping and analysing the influence of mobile devices on teaching, especially with reference to learning the English language. The specific aims are to investigate how the use of mobile devices is present in the research participants’ practices, consider whether such use is beneficial, according to the students, to the English language learning as well as mapping how the use of mobile devices favours the normalisation stage, taken in this research as a complex process.The theoretical background of this study includes the premises of the Paradigm of Complexity, especially concerning the acquisition of a second language, as well as the precepts of Normalisation, which is related to the total integration of digital technologies into the English teaching and learning process in such a way that they become invisible, and the theories of language learning mediated by computers and mobile devices. Methodologically, this is an ethnographic qualitative research and its context is a language institute located in the Triângulo Mineiro region. In addition to students from five groups in the institution, two teachers and an administrative assistant participated in the survey. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, learning reports produced by students and interviews with teachers and administrative staff. The analyses indicate that mobile devices are present in the daily practices of English learners, but these uses, in most cases, are carried out through the teacher's encouragement. Moreover, despite having positive sayings on the role of digital technologies in the process of English teaching and learning, there is, among students and teachers, a dichotomy between saying and doing about the learning contexts considered valid. Additionally, the use of mobile devices in the English learning process is not yet established as a normalised issue because the process of integration of technology in teaching is still ruled by traditional uses of the technology. I conclude that the use of mobile devices in the English learning process is still not normalised, because even if students use their mobile devices every day, they generally do not realize the affordances of such use as possibilities to learn English.

Com o constante surgimento e adoção de tecnologias por parte de alunos e professores, surge a necessidade de compreender esse fenômeno com maior profundidade. Assim, este trabalho tem o objetivo de identificar os fatores existentes na relação entre o uso de Tecnologias de Informação e as atividades de ensino e aprendizagem, no nível de sala de aula. Este trabalho verificou a perspectiva de professores acerca desse fenômeno, por meio de uma abordagem exploratória e qualitativa que baseou suas análises em técnicas de codificação de «Grounded Theory». Foram realizadas 20 entrevistas com professores que atuam ou atuaram recentemente em Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) no Brasil. Nas análises emergiram categorias que nortearam o desenvolvimento de um modelo teórico inicial que aprofunda a literatura existente sobre o tema e ajuda aos gestores de IES na compreensão do fenômeno no nível de sala de aula. Limitações e trabalhos futuros são descritos nas seções posteriores.

This study aims to understand the effects of the mobile marketing use as a relationships tool for companies that operate locally, because of the lack of information about this new marketing tool, as well as the scarcity of studies in this area. This is an exploratory and qualitatively study, based on primary sources, raised through books, articles in the marketing area and the telecommunications industry organs as well as secondary sources. With the purpose to look into the issue, a semi-structured interview is made with the companies managers of the sectors of trade and services in Natal-RN. The advances in technology allow an important discussion focused on the marketing in the new communication technologies scenario. It appears that the mobile marketing adoption and use by local companies is already a reality and companies are awake to changes and technological innovations accessible, especially the mobile telephony as well as convergence with other media. There is, however, that the use of technologies offered by mobile marketing is still limited to the sending of text messages (SMS), despite the numerous possibilities of it use. Moreover, the results obtained with mobile marketing use show that companies can identify them, but there is no effective monitoring in quantity and financial terms. Only affect sales growth and support for progress in loyalty with customers. It shows up that the mentality of not measuring the results still in the plan of changes and technological innovations. The data allow saying that the mobile marketing is a reality, however has not yet signed as a tool for carrying out campaigns and marketing tool for loyalty of customers, despite presenting a wide range of possibilities to streamline and make more effective the marketing businesses process

Advances related to information technology are visible and inherent to the management of contemporary organizations, regardless of industrial action. Synchronized with this dynamic, educational institutions are incorporating technological tools that assist its management and academic support to teachers in teaching and interaction with the students. Given that technological innovations are not always taken homogeneously and with the same degree of coverage, remain current and relevant studies on how these technologies are being used in academia. The objective of this research is to identify the usage profile of the functionality of a virtual learning environment related to teaching (undergraduate or postgraduate), demographic variables (age and gender) and institutional (time of admission and academic center of origin.) The methodology applied to the study is descriptive and quantitative. The research is characterized as census, covering all 2152 teachers of undergraduate and graduate students of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, who accessed the virtual classes of the Integrated Management of Academic Activities. The study findings revealed that there is a statistically significant difference regarding the use of these tools to teachers who work with undergraduate (49.3%) compared to graduate (6.6%). Regarding gender, women (40.1%) use the system more than men (38.5%). It was also observed that the younger teachers, aged 37 years, are the most active users (42.5%) of the Virtual Class with respect to their elders. For teachers with up to three years time of admission to the UFRN, the pattern of use is more advanced than those with more seniority, as well as the faculty of the Center for Science and Technology are the least likely to use the tools available in relation to other academic centers. It is hoped that with this study managers can direct actions to improve and expand the use of this environment by teachers

The Interdisciplinary practice opens in the context of Basic Education guiding new looks in the production of knowledge. It is necessary to reflect the interdisciplinarity as scientific and epistemological stance and its conditions of possibility of expanding the horizon before the theoretical and methodological challenges posed by modernity. Thus, this work aimed to analyze interdisciplinary concepts present in the proposal of the High School Program Innovator. Therefore, the theoretical route initially had the search for understanding of high school in Brazil, interdisciplinarity as the possibility of tensioning the production of scientific knowledge, mainly anchored in the studies of Acácia Kuenzer, Dermeval Saviani, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Claude Raynaut, Henrique Leff and Edgar Morin. The study was methodological subsidy document research and principles of content analysis. The analysis took place from the seven documents that make up the construction path of High School Program Innovator and a semi-structured interview. So, we sought to understand the concepts of the documents establishing analytical categories from more evoked content. In this process identified three categories with regard to the construction of the Program proposal: pedagogical innovations, curriculum organization and teaching quality and three categories with regard to interdisciplinary concepts present in the program: dialogue between curriculum components, joint knowledge and role of high school students. From the studies it was observed that the program came up with the prospect of directing a new identity for the final stage of basic education, listing Documents Guiding Plans and actions for a new curricular organization of secondary education. It was noted that the Program, though explicit in its guiding documents of the interdisciplinary perspective, in no time he calls himself as interdisciplinary. Interdisciplinary actions should run or from school understanding, as well as the preparation of the Redesign Project Curriculum encompassing dialogue between disciplines. Realized by the analysis of the guiding documents is a back program even for a technical rationality practiced by the particular understanding of the school and the practice being expressed from the same concepts that high school is developed, with each teacher teaching the contents of their disciplines and performing cross designs. O presente estudo refere-se a uma dissertação de mestrado em Educação, a qual teve como finalidade problematizar a constituição de subjetividades docentes no âmbito do Curso PARFOR Pedagogia, ofertado pela Universidade do Rio Grande (FURG). O foco teórico que alimenta este trabalho segue alguns elementos dos estudos foucaultianos que se detêm na perspectiva da governamentalidade e, por esse viés investigativo, as problematizações foram se constituindo, basicamente, a partir de três ferramentas analíticas: discurso, governo e subjetivação. Através desta perspectiva de estudo, proponho compreender as políticas de formação docente como uma questão de governo das condutas e o PARFOR, como uma tecnologia de governo que conduz o modo como as professoras que vivenciam essa formação atuam e se pensam nessa sociedade. A partir das narrativas de algumas professoras formadoras e acadêmicas deste curso, foi possível evidenciar o currículo como um espaço de controle e produção de subjetividades. Argumentei que as professoras-acadêmicas, ao justificarem as suas escolhas pelo PARFOR, foram capturadas pelo discurso das faltas com a profissão, tendo suas condutas orientadas a buscar o ensino superior como meio de qualificação e ascensão social. Após, discuti que as práticas realizadas no projeto de formação seguem um ciclo que leva à conversão. Sustentei esta ideia mostrando que as docentes são convocadas a se confessar por meio das escritas dos memoriais e TCC’s, reconhecendo-se como sujeitos da educação - avaliando, julgando, comparando, criando resistências, produzindo verdades sobre si – e assim convertendo-se a uma nova postura que, de alguma forma, venha assegurar o sucesso do seu fazer docente. Por fim, chamo a atenção para as relações de poder imbricadas no equilíbrio dos interesses e forças que envolvem o currículo de formação e seus efeitos na constituição dos sujeitos que vivenciaram este processo. Defendo que as professoras-acadêmicas, ao não terem suas expectativas contempladas no curso, promovem, em diferentes momentos, ações ou resistências, entrando em conflito com as professoras formadoras. Os efeitos dessa forma de subjetivação vão gerando negociações, indicando rumos diferentes aos pré-estabelecidos inicialmente.

A existência de crianças e jovens sobredotados nas nossas escolas é uma realidade que não podemos nem devemos ignorar. Cabe à escola garantir uma efetiva igualdade de oportunidades em contexto escolar e, aos docentes, a promoção de práticas pedagógicas e o recurso a estratégias adequadas às caraterísticas de todos e de cada um dos alunos. Pela aplicação destes preceitos, os sobredotados verão criadas oportunidades de aprendizagem favoráveis ao desenvolvimento das suas competências, justificando-se, por parte dos agentes educativos, um percurso tendente à identificação das verdadeiras necessidades educativas daqueles alunos e ao atendimento daí decorrente. Tomando-se como ponto de partida o reconhecimento e a sensibilização dos docentes para a problemática da sobredotação como necessidade educativa especial (NEE), chega-se ao ponto fulcral deste estudo: analisar os seus conhecimentos relativamente à aplicação de práticas pedagógicas diferenciadas, tendentes a um eficaz atendimento educativo dirigido a alunos sobredotados. Considerando-se que, a nível do 3º ciclo do ensino básico e do ensino secundário, deve existir um cuidado acrescido no desenvolvimento de competências estruturais para a passagem ao ensino superior, destacam-se as opiniões/perceções destes docentes relativamente à implementação em sala de aula de estratégias e práticas adequadas às caraterísticas específicas dos alunos sobredotados, de forma a favorecer o desenvolvimento das capacidades que permitam um desempenho saliente e possibilitem dar o tão almejado “salto”. Estabelece-se como objetivo geral analisar comparativamente os conhecimentos, perceções e práticas relativos à problemática do reconhecimento da sobredotação como NEE, no sentido de contribuir para a sua correta valorização, caminhando ao encontro de respostas educativas adequadas. Genericamente, dir-se-á ter sido possível concluir que os docentes reconhecem as caraterísticas da sobredotação e admitem as NEE dos alunos sobredotados, apesar de se verificar que há ainda um longo caminho a percorrer para que sejam consolidadas práticas educativas que potenciem o desenvolvimento das competências, já por si excecionais, daqueles alunos com vista ao seu sucesso pessoal, académico e profissional.

This work addresses the relationship between University-Firm aims to understand the model of shared management of R&D in petroleum of Petrobras with UFRN. This is a case study which sought to investigate whether the model of cooperation established by the two institutions brings innovation to generate technical-scientific knowledge and contribute to the coordination with other actors in the promotion of technological innovation. In addition to desk research the necessary data for analysis were obtained by sending questionnaires to the coordinators of projects in R&D at the company and university. Also, interviews were conducted with subjects who participated in the study since its inception to the present day. This case study were analysed through the Resource-Based View and Interorganizational Networks theory. The sample data also stands that: searches were aligned to the strategic planning and that 29% of R&D projects have been successful on the scope of the proposed objectives (of which 11% were incorporated into business processes); which was produced technical and scientific knowledge caracterized by hundreds of national and international publications; thesis, dissertations, eleven patents, and radical and incremental innovations; the partnership has also brought benefits to the academic processes induced by the improved infrastructure UFRN and changing the "attitude" of the university (currently with national prominence in research and staff training for the oil sector). As for the model, the technical point of view, although it has some problems, it follows that it is appropriate. From the viewpoint of the management model is criticized for containing an excess of bureaucracy. From the standpoint of strategic allocation of resources from the legal framework needs to be reassessed, because it is focused only on the college level and it is understood that should also reach the high school given the new reality of the oil sector in Brazil. For this it is desirable to add the local government to this partnership. The set of information leads to the conclusion that the model is identified and named as a innovation of organizational arrangement here known as Shared Management of R&D in petroleum of Petrobras with UFRN. It is said that the shared management model it is possible to exist, which is a simple and effective way to manage partnerships between firms and Science and Technology Institutions. It was created by contingencies arising from regulatory stand points and resource dependence. The partnership is the result of a process of Convergence, Construction and Evaluation supported by the tripod Simplicity, Systematization and Continuity, important factors for its consolidation. In practice an organizational arrangement was built to manage innovative university-industry partnership that is defined by a dyadic relationship on two levels (institutional and technical, therefore governance is hybrid), by measuring the quarterly meetings of systematic and standardized financial contribution proportional to the advancement of research. These details have led to the establishment of a point of interaction between the scientific and technological-business dimension, demystifying they are two worlds apart
