A temática afro brasileira no contexto da Educação Física escolar

The choice Brazilian african study theme in the general education, and particularly in physical education has not advanced as to be themed with the subject matter. Even open to this issue, in 2003 a law was passed introducing an obligation of racial ethnic correlations in Brazil. Law 10.639, changed the LDB (Guidelines and Framework Act, 1996) and establishing the obligation both in elementary school as high school, public and private, the teaching of history and African Culture and African Brazilian. As the main objective of disseminating the importance of valuing the African culture and its legacy, expanding the looks and the knowledge about the culture and history of a people who often are discriminated against and excluded by society. The questions that arise are the following: The physical education teacher know that prerogative? Incorporates the Brazilian african discussion in their classes? Discusses with students these subjects related to corporal practices? Have difficulty in dealing with this issue? What? Thus the aim of this study was to detect whether and how a group of physical education teachers is the Brazilian african theme in their classes, for the fulfillment of the Law 10.639 / 03. The methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive type. Were used for data collection semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The data obtained through interviews with teachers were transcribed, reviewed and classified according to the content analysis. As novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação como um recurso para a produção de material didático voltado ao ensino do atletismo

Apesar da importância do atletismo, ainda são vários os problemas enfrentados por aqueles que se dedicam a ensiná-lo. Procurando estratégias que contribuam para sanar algumas dessas dificuldades, essa pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar as Novas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (NTIC), em especial, a internet, como forma de subsidiar o ensino do atletismo em aulas de Educação Física. Para atingirmos o objetivo proposto, nos pautamos no desenvolvimento de quatro etapas, a saber: 1ª Etapa - pesquisa bibliográfica, em livros, artigos e websites, visando coletar materiais didáticos relacionados ao atletismo; 2ª Etapa - análise e divisão dos conteúdos da internet, em especial, dos vídeos do Youtube, por possuírem diversos conteúdos relacionados ao atletismo; 3ª Etapa - organização do banco de dados, no formato de material didático, com base nos vídeos do Youtube, capaz de subsidiar o trabalho do professor de Educação Física na escola, com sugestões de atividades a fim de tornar as aulas sobre atletismo mais dinâmicas e numa linguagem cada vez mais frequente no dia a dia dos alunos

Comparar a influência nas capacidades funcionais e nível de atividade física de dois tipos de aula de educação física em adolescentes do ensino médio do municipio de Rio Claro-SP

Regular physical activity can prevent and treat various diseases and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular disease. However, the prevalence of physical inactivity among adolescents in Rio Claro is 83%. Thus, it is necessary to encourage physical atividade through the community, especially parents and schools. The objective was to investigate the influence of two types of gym class in functional abilities in high school students in the city of Rio Claro-SP. Methodology: The study included 20 students from high school, 8 boys and 12 girls. The study took place in two high school halls of a public school in the city of Rio Claro. With the collaboration and participation in only 10 students in each room search reviews of all students occurred in mid-July in the year 2012 with the completion of the battery of tests and application of PAQ-C questionnaire at the beginning of classes of and after three months. All students were subjected to the test battery Eurofit. To compare the values of physical fitness for each type of class was held factorial ANOVA for repeated measures using SPSS and the level of physical activity was performed the Wilcoxon test. To compare the delta values (post-test-time time pre test every physical fitness) we performed the t test for all analyzes was adopted p <0.05 Classes G1 followed the schedule proposed by the state 's Notebook, where he worked subjects as body and beauty and its relationship with the media today, prevailing more conceptual classes than procedural . Unlike what has been developed with the G2 who had classes were focused on physical fitness and physical conditioning to increase the level of physical activity inside and outside the school environment . Física e música: o uso de canções como ferramenta auxiliar no ensino de física

In this work we present a didactic proposal to use song lyrics for Physics Teaching aimed to High School level. Based on the work proposed by Zanetic (1990) that Physics is also Culture, we understand that its influence extends beyond the scientific boundaries, reaching spheres of knowledge where its presence is less obvious, such as the arts, especially Music. Based on proposals for Ramos and Gomes (2013), activities were conducted in two groups of second year of high school in the city of Rio Claro, each with an approach. In one of the classes the students received as material the lyrics of the songs printed and the other students were given a table along with the lyrics. In these materials the students identified physical concepts present in the songs Nuclear Shelter of the São Paulo band Premeditando the Breque and Manhattan Project of the Canadian band Rush. We observed during activities an improvement in the participation of students in theoretical discussions, probably due to a more favorable context for students to express themselves assigned by us to the activities with the songs. After performing the activities we demonstrated that you can enter the Music in the classroom not only as entertainment but as an aid in research and understanding of physical concepts

O ensino de física e a curiosidade epistemológica: o uso de experimentos de eletricidade em atividades educacionais

We analyzed with this work the importance of using experiments in the classroom, especially the low-cost experiments for better learning of Physics, discussing the context where this discipline is inserted, which in general, has been presented to students in a traditional, mechanistic way. We worked with the electrostatic theme and low cost didactic experiments, focusing on the pizza electrophorus. About the handling of this experiment, we can see the surprise and curiosity in students, depending on how it is used in didactic activities in order to make it meaningful to the student. We discussed how the curiosity can be harnessed in the classroom, the types of curiosity according to Freire, how to overcome the curiosity to become epistemological, the physics involved in the experiment and the teacher's role in this context

A geometria tridimensional apresentada nos livros didáticos de matemática do 5º ano do ensino fundamental

O presente trabalho realiza um estudo referente à Geometria Tridimensional, no que tange a sua metodologia apresentada nos livros didáticos de Matemática. Esse instrumento tem passado por um processo de avaliação mais rigoroso nas últimas décadas pelos órgãos governamentais para a promoção do livro com qualidade o que é importante, porém uma análise crítica de seus conteúdos é essencial para que esse instrumento torne-se adequado a cada realidade e um aliado no planejamento do educador no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Geometria. Essa disciplina é considerada por vários autores e especialista da educação como um conhecimento muito pertinente para a formação integral do aluno, ao proporcionar o desenvolvimento do raciocínio visual, espacial e lógico, abrangendo também a formação cultural e profissional. Nesse sentido, considerando a importância da escolha de um livro adequado e coerente para a qualidade desse ensino, objetivouse com esse estudo realizar uma análise e reflexão sobre os conteúdos da Geometria Tridimensional apresentada em dois livros didáticos de matemática do 5º ano do ensino fundamental submetidos aos critérios eliminatórios do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático - PNLD (2013) e aprovado pelo Ministério da Educação. Mediante levantamento bibliográfico da literatura pertinente e análise de documentos oficiais foi possível verificar que os mesmos apresentaram progressos em alguns aspectos atendendo de forma parcial as propostas atuais para esse ensino demonstrando que ainda precisam evoluir

The guidelines of National Curriculum for Dental courses highlights the necessity in providing for the professional the ability to analyze and assess community’s problems and needs, and to create solutions for the society. The continuing education may be considered a useful tool for the teaching and learning because it favors the diversification of learning environments, which allows the insertion of undergraduate and graduate students into the real scenarios. This current study aimed to assess the Public Health projects and programs of the UNESP – Araçatuba Dental School, by describing the interaction experiences between faculty and health services in the professional career development. Historical, documentary and descriptive searches were performed based on the faculty archives such as official documents, reports, databases from the Pro-rector of continuing education and published papers in the period between 1964 and 2011. The following experiences were noted: the Extra-Muro Dental Service (SEMO), established in 1964, that focused in providing dental treatment to the rural population, highlighted the social inclusion of discriminated society groups since that time. In 1972, this service was expanded to several specific populations living in the urban areas. In the '60s, many educational campaigns were performed as homemade water filter and construction of wells and septic tanks which demonstrate the concern with the determinants of healthdisease process. At that time, the campaign of fluoridation of public water supplies in several counties started as Araçatuba, Birigui, Penápolis, Guararapes, Valparaíso and so on. The Campaign of “Good Teeth” from the '70s became wider over time and it was transformed in the "Oral Health Education Program" and it was continuously developed in all public schools of Araçatuba and some neighboring towns, benefiting children aged from 6 to 10 years-old. Several epidemiological studies of caries, periodontal diseases, malocclusion and fluorosis were conducted in cooperation with local governments, and counted with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students. Pereira Barreto – SP was the precursor city in Brazil to carry out fluorosis study. Currently, 12 projects of Public Health from the Institution of Higher Education in the Pro-rector of continuing education are being developed. The concern in qualifying the human resources in health is confirmed with the development of training courses and workshops for professionals, highlighting the training for people enrolled in the Family Health program; Community Health Agent training - Solidarity University, and Municipal Health Counselors training. The Graduate Program in Social and Preventive Dentistry, created in 1993, has an important role to train several professionals for the Unified Health System, and provides education to create researchers, professors and administrators, and enucleates research groups in several Brazilian states. In all activities showed herein, a dynamic participation of undergraduate and graduate students has been observed, and several books, guidelines, articles, brochures and booklets have been published as a result of the continuing education activities.. It was concluded that different projects and programs have been developed by the Public Health of UNESP –Araçatuba Dental School, which allow the exchange of experience between the university and health services, and benefit all participants enrolled in these activities.
