Avaliação in vitro da resistência adesiva ao cisalhamento entre a dentina bovina, cimentos resinosos e materiais restauradores indiretos, tratados ou não com jato de óxido de alumínio, ácido fluorídrico e silano

The purpose of this study was to evaluate in vitro the shear bond strenght to bovine dentin, during 24h and 30 days with the following variables: resin cements Enforce and Panavia F; aesthetics restorative materials Art Glass, IPS Empress 2 and Targis, with surface treatment with microetching with aluminium oxide, fluoridric acid and silane. Two hundred eighty eight sound bovine teeth from 3 years old animals constituted the samples after inclusion on polyester resin box. lnstron model 430 Universal Testing Machine, a crosshead speed 0,5 mm/min and load cells of 500 Kg, was used for shear bond strenght testing (MPa). The results were statistically analysed by ANOVA The best result was obtained with /PS Empress 2, microetched with aluminium oxide, fluoridric acid and silane, cemented with Panavia F and stored in distilled water, 3f'C during 30 days

Experiência, infância e cuidado de si: desafios aos atuais saberes e práticas escolares

This paper deals with the problem of experience and its possible languages between school knowledge and practices. Its objective is to find the different possibilities of thinking the experience in the educational praxis, based on the contemporary philosophical categories of event and childhood as well as on the genres of poetic language and testimony. In order to do so, it is reconstructed a genealogy of the transformation of educational praxis into pedagogical art in its relationships with childhood whether as a government goal or as a subject, revealing the domination states that constitute them and pointing out their potential of resistance to the actual one. It is also stated that this event breaks into in the aesthetic dimension of experience and concurs in order to interrupt the order of discourse, making subjects of educational praxis think about it and causing care of oneself to become an ethic attitude put together with an aesthetics of experience. Thus, this research aims at restoring the dignity of experience among school knowledge and practices.

O sentido ético da dramática de si e o significado político da poética da diferença na pragmática do ensino: considerações à luz de Foucault

This essay discusses the theme of poetics in teaching activity, and discusses its possible ability to think about the ethical-formative sense and its possible political use to propose alternatives to the educational praxis that is restricted, in actuality, a pragmatic teaching. From the point of view of aesthetics of existence, therefore, we proposes a particular notion of poetic, fairly close to what can be understood by the dramatic that underlies the pragmatic of you last Foucault, as well as analyzes your chances to problematize the current pragmatic teaching. Thus, we look forward to assist the educator thinking both the possibility of ethics (self) transformation as the meaning of formation of another in his educational activity.

Repair Technique for Fractured Implant-Supported Metal-Ceramic Restorations: A Clinical Report

The fracture of porcelain structures have been related in either natural dentition or implant-supported restorations. Techniques using a composite resin or indirect methods can be used. This article presents a porcelain fracture on implant-supported metal-ceramic restoration. IPS Empress e.max laminate veneer restoration was used to repair the fracture. With this technique, it was possible to restore aesthetics and function, combined with low cost and patient satisfaction.

O retorno: identidades à deriva no romance português contemporâneo

This paper concentrates on the analysis of how the typical voices of History are manifested, which is achieved by the aesthetics of the contemporary Portuguese narrative, as it aims at the same time the reflexion and the reformulation of the Lusitanian cultural imaginary in the course of O retorno, a novel by Dulce Maria Cardoso. The hypothesis that arises is that the trajectory of Rui’s individual experience, as wells as the other’s characters “retornados” looking for identity, is parallel to the proposed revision of the Portuguese nation collective cultural imaginary in the decolonization context, after the 25th April Revolution. It is its objective to investigate how the historical processes concerned to the concepts of exile and uprooting, displacement and belonging (BAUMAN, 2005) are fictionalized in the novel, seen as motes for Rui’s pursuit for identity and for the revision of the Portuguese Destiny theme

Trailer: análise da linguagem utilizada por esta peça publicitária cinematográfica

This final project intends to discourse about the cinematographic publicity piece that is the trailer and its main features. Its relation with the publicity is studied so we can understand how this relation occurs, once the trailer is found in between the cinema and the publicity. The trailer features are exposed, such as the persuasive features, so it becomes evident the importance of studying this advertising tool from a broad perspective. In addition, we seek to determine its aesthetics, its compositional characteristics and their relevance in movie marketing. The paper discusses briefly about the universe of the movie marketing, as a way of situating the trailer as a tool in a set of publicity techniques that help in selling movies. A case study is conducted, involving the analysis of 5 trailers from different categories of gender, in order to capture the essence of the overall trailer, such from the persuasive perspective as the audiovisual perspective. Finally the is the addition of a current universe of characteristics that can be found in the contemporary trailers, grounded by theorists and film scholars that accompanied the evolution of this advertising tool

The biological principles of osseointegration caused the rehabilitation treatment with osseointegrated implant become a safe, well alternative accepted by the dental community for the high success rate, allowing the preparation of functional and aesthetic prostheses in edentulous and partial patients. We passed the initial phase of functional vision for an aesthetic approach, too, depending on the demands of the patient and the quest for excellence by professionals. Over these last years, implant treatment has undergone many changes in surgical and prosthetic protocols. The less invasive surgical techniques and the development of restorative materials, especially ceramics allow the prosthetic rehabilitation of high functional quality and aesthetics. The installation of implants in sockets immediately after extraction of teeth involved by fracture, periodontal disease, endodontic lesions, is part of the arsenal of techniques for rehabilitating a number of advantages that we get to the outcome of multidisciplinary treatment. For this, we must consider several criteria in its planning as a fundamental unit, adjacent teeth, multiple losses, system, form and number of implants, type of retention of the prosthesis components, the patient expectation of the outcome perspective, gingival biotype, standard of ridge resorption, the smile line, etc. occlusal analysis. With the three-dimensional placement of the implant can immediately join the biological processes of repair of the socket, implant osseointegration, speeding treatment time. The aim of this paper is to present the readings, the reflections that have emerged, and, also, the results obtained by the search Multiple Images: The representation of black women in Brazil. The project aimed to find the black woman‟ images presented in historically constructed representations, for this was made a cut in images production of black people, choosing three artists, two works of each in three different historical moments, which according to the recanted the look of your time. Avaliação da prevalência do tipo de crescimento crânio facial nas diferentes más oclusões, de acordo com a classificação de angle

During the orthodontic correction planning in addition to dental-jaw correction, facial aesthetics is the orthodontist's and patient's major concern. To prevent facial aesthetics damage is really important to take into account the type of craniofacial growth: mesofacial (balanced), dolichofacial (vertical) or brachyfacial (horizontal). We evaluated 152 documentation files from the Department of Orthodontics of Dental University of Sao Jose dos Campos- UNESP in order to analyze what kind of growth occurs in most Class I malocclusions, Class II and Class III Angle of treated individuals from 6 to 12 years old. From the randomly collected samples, 15 of them belonged to Class I Angle malocclusions; 123 belonged to Angle Class II and 14 to Class III malocclusion. The results showed that in Class I, 66.67% were classified as dolicocephalic; in Class II, 64.23% were classified as dolicocephalic and in Class III, 50% were brachycephalic. We conclude that the dolichofacial was the type which ocurred the most, both in females and males and both in malocclusion Class I and Class II. The brachyfacial type most occurred in Class III malocclusion and the mesofacial type occurred in smaller numbers in the three malocclusions studied
