A saúde bucal do adulto: uma proposição de plano de ação na atenção à saúde bucal do adulto no município de Augusto de Lima/MG

Este Trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo a Saúde Bucal do Adulto: Uma proposição de plano de ação à saúde bucal do adulto no município de Augusto de Lima-MG. Foram observados durante o segundo semestre de 2009, aspectos demográficos, socioeconômicos, epidemiológicos; dados estes coletados em fontes como IBGE, SIAB, DATASUS. Informações como recursos humanos e materiais, mapeamento de instituições e projetos também receberam grande atenção. Após análise destes dados foram diagnosticados nós críticos e proposto um plano de ação visando a inserção da população adulta nos programas de saúde bucal e qualidade de vida.

A saúde bucal do adolescente: uma proposição de plano de ação na atenção à saúde bucal do adolescente na unidade de saúde Dom Oscar - Congonhas/MG

Este trabalho tem como objetivo a melhoria da saúde bucal em adolescentes na equipe da estratégia de saúde da família do Dom Oscar no município de Congonhas, Minas Gerais. O plano de intervenção proposto foi baseado num diagnóstico situacional realizado previamente pela autora onde foram observados aspectos demográficos, ambientais, socioeconômicos, epidemiológicos, indicadores de cobertura, dentre outros. A coleta dos dados foi realizada em fontes oficiais como IBGE, SIAB, DATASUS e, em informações locais como mapeamento de instituições e projetos já existentes. Após a análise destes dados foram diagnosticados entraves e dificuldades no atendimento realizado atualmente e proposto um plano de ação visando a inserção da população de adolescentes nos programas de promoção de saúde bucal e qualidade de vida.

Adesão à terapia medicamentosa em um programa antitabagismo e proposição de uma rede social como intervenção para cessação do tabaco

Introdução: Ipaba é um município da região leste de Minas Gerais, o qual apresenta uma população de 17.729 habitantes e o distrito de Vale Verde que possui vários problemas relacionados à saúde pública e, dentre eles, o elevado número de tabagistas. Justificativa: O trabalho se justifica pela quantidade significativa de pessoas que fumam no município e, assim, pelos prejuízos causados às pessoas e, somada a baixa adesão e insucesso das campanhas anteriores para cessar o tabagismo. Objetivo geral: O objetivo geral do projeto de intervenção é combater o tabagismo no distrito do Vale Verde através de uma campanha que se torne um modelo de atendimento no local em que o próprio paciente seja o incentivador do combate ao vício. Método: O método utilizado foi a criação de uma rede social antitabagismo, bem como a utilização da padronização de farmacoterapia associada à psicoterapia. Plano de intervenção: Primeiramente houve um cadastro, informação aos pacientes sobre o assunto, em seguida, foram realizadas reuniões semanais para acompanhamento e esclarecimento de dúvidas a respeito do tratamento; por último, a adesão de novos participantes. Conclusão: A utilização de uma padronização da farmacoterapia associada à psicoterapia foi fundamental para a adesão e sucesso do projeto. Com a iniciativa de criar uma rede social antitabagismo, percebeu-se que a motivação dos pacientes aumentou. O fato de um indivíduo ser o responsável pelo outro, fez com que a adesão e vigilância contra o fumo aumentasse e com isso houve o fortalecimento do sucesso da terapia medicamentosa

Diretrizes curriculares nacionais para o ensino médio: avaliação de documento

This text offers some contributions to the debate on the changes proposed to the National Curricular Directives to reform secondary education in Brazil. In the first part, the political and economic scene is evaluated as the context which generated the last stage of reforms in the educational field in the 90s. It questions the option for a model of structural reform (in the Brazilian case more restricted to the Program for Reform of Professional Education - PROEP) and of the curriculum, whose themes find their justification in the contemporary economic, social cultural and political context. It discusses the use of a model that bases itself on experiences developed in other countries and takes the international orientation of the multilateral organizations as its theoretical methodological reference, leaving out the peculiarities and injunctions of the Brazilian political administrative system. Such a policy measure can increase the tension and distance normally existing between government programs and the possibility of their real implementation in the school network. In the second part, it discusses the Resolution of the National Education Council, the Congress on Basic Education, no.3, of 16.698 that instituted the National Curricular Directives for secondary education, as well as the Legal Bases - Part I - of the National Curricular Parameters for secondary education. The analysis of official discourse takes Bardin's (1977, p. 209) proposals as its methodological reference for the models of structural analysis, seeking to make the implicit values and the connotations of the legal texts explicit

Homogeneidade e heterogeneidade nos sistemas educacionais: Argentina, Brasil, Chile e México

This study focus on the reconfiguration of educational management in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico, which was promoted by the new logic of social regulation and the new role attributed to the State, considering each country's own historicity. So, the cultural factors that interfere on the dynamics of the 90' school reform are analyzed. Aspects that show the homogeneity or heterogeneity of these reforms in the region, as well as local specificities that block out the concretization of the reform are underlined. It is shown that the historicity that characterizes the educational reform has taken, in each country, a form that can be called, in Mexico, conservative rupture; in Chile, conservative continuity; in Brazil, conservative renovation; and, in Argentina, interrupted rupture. Some conclusions about the impact of educational reform in the selected countries are recuperated through the analysis of 186 academic texts on the subject.

Estimativa de bem-estar de frango de corte em função da concentração de amônia e grau de luminosidade no galpão de produção

Brazil is an important poultry meat export country, and large parts of its destination are countries with specific rearing restrictions related to broiler s welfare. One of the aerial pollutants mostly found in high concentrations in closed poultry housing environment is ammonia. There are evidences that broilers welfare may be compromised by the continuous exposition to this pollutant in rearing housing. This research aimed to estimate broilers welfare reared under specific thermal environmental attributes and bird s density, as function of the ammonia concentration and light intensity inside the housing environment using the Fuzzy Theory. Results showed that the best welfare value (0.89 in the scale: 0-1) approximately 90% of the ideal was found in the conditions that associated the ideal thermal environment, with bird s density between 13-15 birds m-2, with values of the ammonia concentration in the environment below 5 ppm, and light intensity near 1 lx. Using the predictive method it was possible to estimate broilers welfare with relation to the ammonia concentration and light intensity in the housing.

Ambiências térmica, aérea e acústica para reprodutores suínos

The swine breeder rearing environment directly affects the animal's performance. This research had the objective of developing a thermal, aerial and acoustic environmental evaluation pattern for boar housing. The experiment was carried on a commercial swine farm in Salto County -SP, Brazil. Thermal, aerial and acoustic environment data of rearing conditions were registered. Data were statistically analyzed using as threshold the ideal housing environment that leads to animal welfare. Results showed that ambient temperature was around 70% beyond normal range, while air relative humidity, air speed and gases concentration were within threshold values. Noise level data besides being within normal range did not present large variation. In relation to the fuzzy logic analysis it was possible to build up a scenario which indicated that the best welfare indexes to male swine breeders happens when thermal comfort index are close to 80%, and noise level is lower than 40 dB. In the other hand the worst welfare index occur in the sector where the thermal comfort values are below 40% at the same time that the noise level is higher than 80 dB leading to inadequate conditions to the animal, and may directly interfere in the reproduction system performance.

A metalinguagem como lugar da interpretação: terminologia e bases de dados informatizadas

The main objective of this work is to discuss the notion of metalanguage concerning the use of thesaurus (symbols systems, functions indicators, descriptors) utilized by indexers for article representation in computerized bibliographical databases. Our corpus comprises article abstracts and bibliographical database descriptors LILACS (Literatura Latino-Americana em Ciências da Saúde) and SOCIOFILE Sociological Abstracts. We aim at clarifying the effects of subjectivity in the functioning of indexing taking account the grounds for interpretation that allow different meanings.

Uma observação sobre o lugar da teoria da ligação e do critério temático dentro do programa minimalista

In this paper I present some evidencie that forces us to conclude that within the Minimalist Program (Chomsky 1993; 1995), Binding Theory (BT) should be computed after LF (Logical Form). I show that derivations leading to structures containing violations of BT-Principles must converge at LF, since less economical alternative derivations respecting those principles are also ungrammatical. Being irrelevant to the notion of convergence, BT must apply after LF. A similar reasoning reveals that the Theta-Criterion should have the status of a bare output condition appling at LF, since less economical derivations are allowed by the computational system to prevent violations of it.
