Efecto de las TIC en el rendimiento educativo: el Programa Conectar Igualdad en la Argentina

El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en determinar cuál es el “premio”, en términos de rendimiento educativo, de los estudiantes beneficiados con el Programa Conectar Igualdad con respecto a aquellos que no participaron en él. Con este fin, se emplea la técnica de emparejamiento o método de psm (propensity score matching). Se describen los antecedentes del Programa, así como el marco teórico con que se definen los factores explicativos del rendimiento educativo y que posiblemente inciden en la probabilidad de participar en el Programa. La población bajo estudio son los estudiantes de 15 años de la Argentina. Se emplean datos del Programa Internacional de Evaluación de Estudiantes (PISA) correspondientes al año 2012. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el rendimiento educativo promedio derivadas de la participación en el Programa Conectar Igualdad.

Invecchiamento biologico: la tecnologia per la produzione dei vini della denominazione d’origine “Jerez”

L’elaborato mira a descrivere la tecnologia e le implicazioni chimico-fisiche e sensoriali legati alla produzione dei vini della denominazione Jerez, alcune delle cui caratteristiche dipendono dal processo di invecchiamento biologico, dovuto al metabolismo di alcuni lieviti in grado di svilupparsi in colonie superficiali a costituire un velo di natura polisaccaridica. Dopo un breve excursus sulla storia della zona viticola dell'Andalusia e l’etimologia della parola "Jerez", si è fornita la descrizione delle condizioni pedologiche e climatiche della zona in questione. In seguito, si descrive il disciplinare della D.O. Jerez , la differenziazione dei vini Generosos, definizione e descrizione del metodo "Criaderas y Solera" e il suo funzionamento (saca y rocio). Sono descritti, inoltre, i fenomeni chimici che presiedono la formazione, lo sviluppo e la dissoluzione del velo di flor, soffermandosi sulla generazione o evoluzione di talune molecole responsabili delle caratteristiche sensoriali dei prodotti finali, includendo anche informazioni relative all’invecchiamento ossidativo di alcune tipologie di vini Jerez. Una particolare attenzione è riservata alla tecnologia adottata nei grandi enopoli della provincia di Cadiz, allo scopo di favorire le trasformazioni metaboliche dianzi accennate. Un ulteriore capitolo è stato dedicato alla trattazione dei dati statistici ed economici relativi al mercato andaluso, import ed export dello Jerez e l'andamento del commercio internazionale di questa tipologia di vino. Da ultimo, l'elaborato illustra brevemente altre tipologie di vino prodotte con invecchiamento biologico (Jura e Vernaccia di Oristano).

Women in the digital economy: breaking through the equality threshold

Prepared by ECLAC for the twelfth session of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, this document systematizes and describes various dimensions that shape the way the region's women participate in the labour market and how they access and use the different elements of the digital economy. Information and communications technologies (ICTs); provide essential support across all economic, political, cultural and social activity, as well as being a production sector in their own right. As such, they are potential allies in the drive to achieve equality by helping reduce the gender inequities which constitute not only a gender digital gap but also a social divide. Public policies on gender equality must take into account the key and interconnected dimensions of economy, well-being and technology if they are to be capable of providing an ambitious and innovative response to the challenges of today's society. The core argument in the reflection on ICTs and gender equality thus has to do with how women engage in processes of change and sustainable development in the countries, which cannot be achieved without equal participation by men and women. From this perspective, the gender digital gap offers a specific opportunity to tackle gender inequalities in the region.

Les femmes et l'économie numérique: franchir le seuil de l'inégalité. Synthèse

Le document aborde le débat sur le changement structurel et la place des femmes dans la société de l’information, ainsi que la capacité de développement de leur autonomie dans le cadre de la mise en place d’un nouveau paradigme technologique. Il dresse un bilan de la situation des femmes sur le marché de l’emploi et passe en revue, sur la base des données des enquêtes disponibles, les indicateurs d’accès à et d’utilisation de l’Internet de façon à mesurer les écarts existants entre hommes et femmes dans différentes sphères sociales et géographiques.
