Ressenya del llibre Els nous horitzons culturals a Mallorca al final de l'Edat Mitjana, de Maria Barceló i Gabriel Ensenyat. L’obra tracta sobre l’humanisme a Mallorca, la conclusió de la qual és que, tenint en compte que l’humanisme en estat pur no va existir ni tan sols a Itàlia, es pot parlar de l’humanisme català comptant amb les seves reminiscències de l’Edat Mitjana de les que no se sostreuen enlloc

La obra jurídica de Guy de Pape se sitúa en el marco de la tensión entre diferentes tradiciones jurídicas (como el derecho civil, el derecho eclesiástico etc), y el enfrentamiento de la autoridad real frente a los privilegios y libertades feudales, que fue necesario para la implantación de las monarquías modernas en los siglos XV, XVI y XVII. La Singularia presenta conceptos de Guy de Pape sobre los más variados temas de ambos derechos (civil y eclesiástico), en cada uno cita las fuentes en que apoya su opinión y dónde puede ampliarse el tema. La obra contiene numerosas glosas, y es de gran interés para aclarar la terminología y el uso de las leyes al inicio de la modernidad.

Vida i obra de Fra Bernat Hug de Rocabertí

Fra Bernat Hug de Rocabertí (c.1420-1485) was a prominent member of the Order of the Hospital in the Crown of Aragon in which to attain the dignity of Castilian of Amposta, the most important dignity in the Crown. This work is a historical biography of him, since he entered into the Order by the hand of his brotherin- law, fra Joan de Vilagut, until he became a confidant of King Joan II and his side took part in Catalan Civil War in the fifteenth century. In parallel, Rocabertí also devoted himself to poetry and wrote at least two pieces, the Estrampa, so far unpublished, here this work is published critically, and La glòria d’amor, a long narrative poem, which is a study of possible chronology. Moreover, also studied other people linked to Bernat Hug, like his brothers, authors of some interesting battle letters, also published for the first time, or their brothers-inlaw, among them Joan de Vilagut, also a poet, and Guillem Tinter, who had a poetic Exchange with Vilagut. The whole work is accompanied by transcription of an interesting collection of documents.

Die Abschrift als Schreibszene. Der ›Nuwe Parzifal‹ in der Handschrift Rom, Biblioteca Casanatense, Mss. 1409

The Codex Biblioteca Casanatense 1409 which has for a long time been neg- lected in Parzival scholarship, transmits German translations of three continuations of Chre ́tien de Troyes‘ Roman de Perceval ou Le Conte du Graal together with the last two books (XV/XVI) of Wolfram von Eschenbach’s Parzival. This article supports the for- merly casually made assumption that the Casanatense manuscript is in fact a direct copy of Codex Donaueschingen 97, the so called Rappoltsteiner Parzifal. As is to be shown, marks in the Donaueschingen codex, as well as significant copying errors in the Casanatense text and its treatment of initials suggest a direct relationship of the two witnesses. The notion of ,writing scene‘ (Schreibszene) with its implications of linguistic semantics, instrumentality, gesture and self reflection, proposed in modern literary scholarship, can help to understand peculiarities of the copying process in the Casanatensis, such as the numerous conceptual abbreviations and the adaptations in the handling of headings. In the final part of the article, the hypothesis is corroborated, that the copy of the Casa- natensis might have been produced in the surroundings of Lamprecht von Brunn (ca. 1320–1399), bishop of Strasburg and Bamberg, and counsellor of the emperor Charles IV.
