A partir de sua experiência pessoal, de frequentadora de museus desde a infância, e profissional, atuando em uma instituição cultural que abriga um museu, a arte-educadora Paula Hilst Selli discute neste livro a relação entre os museus e seu público. Sua suposição inicial é que os museus não fazem parte das opções de lazer para a maioria da população porque a formação de público dessas instituições está ligada diretamente à infância e à experiência construída nessa fase. A partir dessa ideia, sugere questões: Será que as crianças de hoje frequentam museus? Como? Com quem? O que será que elas pensam ou imaginam acerca desses espaços? Será que nesses ambientes são estimuladas à construção do conhecimento? As crianças são protagonistas ou figurantes das ações educativas? Assim, por meio de uma pesquisa realizada com crianças, a autora busca saber o que elas pensam a respeito dos museus e como se relacionam com eles, para, então, refletir sobre o acesso e a formação de público desse tipo de equipamento cultural na cidade de São Paulo. Além de investigar o papel que o museu assume no imaginário infantil e quem são os principais responsáveis por intermediar o contato entre as crianças e essas instituições, a arte-educadora analisa documentos oficiais e estudos históricos com o objetivo de discutir as responsabilidades no acesso a bens culturais

Since the beginning human needs to produce elements artistics, in such way that can set their history and pass a language, be it as art, culture and / or as an identity. Within this context, the jewelry was being developed, its characteristics and aesthetics, in a period, being artistic, historic, marking this form a civilization, a document, with its innovations and concepts. Nowadays, with technology, trade and the need to search for creations and innovations in the jewelry section, was prepared and developed those that we call Art jewelry. This study brings a trajectory through the history of jewelry art and jewelry; specifying in the contemporary period the various types of jewelry such as author and industry, its artists and jewelers; parts exhibited in museums and designed for competitions, thus creating a analysis of contemporary jewelry

This research intend to investigate the main concepts on the pedagogical activities from the 8th Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul, through its history and in a field research made in 2011, by the occasion and in the same year of that edition. It tries to recognize the innovative points of its pedagogical curatorial project and its meaning for the educational art in museums - the expanded field of the art. The expository and educational experience in the Bienal do Mercosul, through its concepts, proposes a reflection about educational art in museums or big events

Over the past four decades it occurred a great expansion of science education research in Brazil (TEIXEIRA, 2008). Considering the scientific production in the area, descriptive studies, called state of the art are necessary, but little found in Brazilian scientific literature, especially in the field of science education. In this context, this paper identifies and describes the main features and trends of Brazilian research in the field of education in science museums, released in the form of dissertations and thesis, in the period 1970 to 2010. It is a qualitative and quantitative research, which performs a document analysis, in a bibliographical review. We mapped 153 academic researches, mainly in the Rio-São Paulo axis, mostly in the last decade, showing that the area can be characterized as an emerging field in science education.

The proposed work is located in education field in exhibition spaces of art and seeks to analyze a process of formation as a mediator focusing on the public's relationship with art, taking into account the fact that often the general public does not dominate the codes of this area, being incumbent upon mediator introduce them. One of the main points to be analyzed is the impact that can be generated by the contact of the visitor with the mediator in the exhibition space, considering a spectrum of possibilities, where at one end focuses the belonging and in the other the symbolic violence. In this direction this research aims to build a relationship of emancipation and autonomy of both, the educator and the visitor. It is known that the concept of public is a generalization, therefore, the analysis of the mediation process, are having as support the experiences lived by the mediator, especially, in the relationship with the lay public. The locations of the experiences lived, were the SESC Pompéia and the Pavilion of the Bienal of São Paulo, different places, but both with the potential to generate reception and / or distances, shot through space (architecture), bodies, codes, accesses, works of art, repertoires, expographic and especially through the mobilization of educator front of all these issues. The cutting of the research covers the experience of the educator (as an intern and professional) in six exhibitions, in these two spaces, between the years 2010 to 2015.

Este boletim é dedicado às paisagens culturais, tema do Dia Internacional de Museus de 2016. Lançado o repto, como podem os museus articular-se de forma mais efectiva com o território, com a sua compreensão e interpretação? Merece destaque o artigo sobre a Rota Histórica das Linhas de Torres, um projecto de patrimonialização da paisagem em curso desde 2007 (Florbela Estevao), a reflexão em torno da Carta de Siena (Joana Sousa Monteiro e Dália Paulo), a entrevista com Ana Paula Amendoeira (Directora Regional de Cultura do Alentejo) e o texto de perfil sobre Pedro Gadanho, director do novo Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia (Belém).

Um novo edifício junto ao Museu da Electricidade começa a ganhar forma. Trata-se do futuro Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia (MAAT) da Fundação EDP, a inaugurar em Outubro deste ano, um novo equipamento que irá marcar a paisagem cultural lisboeta. Para conhecer este ambicioso projecto fomos conversar com Pedro Gadanho, director do museu.
