This work presents the development of the External Lighting Plan UNESP in the Itapeva Campus based LED and Solar Energy. Firstly it was made a collection of data from measurements of the local transit through the Google Earth 6 software and divide the local in sectors, and then perform an analysis of characteristics and age of the site. With these data it was possible to determine the average luminance the place, in30 lux. After these procedures was possible to determine the type of sets that would perform the role of bridge lighting the kit chosen was the 20/20 Sun LED manufacturer, since it contains the luminaire with the solar panel to the pole. Therefore we determined the number of poles for each sector, whichwas72in total and. After the determination of the location of each point lighting

In the present study aimed to study the use of radio and television in Brazil by the various Christian aspects rooted in the country. The main objective was to analyze how the churches define the orientation or the use of strategies of both comprehensive and traditional media vehicles, which are still the most popular mass media, both for the formation of culture and national public opinion in both states and municipalities, which demarcate and retain regional traits that differentiate culturally, economically and socially diverse Brazilian populations. Christian churches are increasingly seeking loopholes and legal facilities, public spaces and broadcast media to facilitate the achievement of followers of their theological ideologies. On the radio, on television and also through social networks of the Internet, pastors, priests, bishops and lay Christians to seek their potential both in public space and home individually, using old and new individual devices and portable reception of audiovisual content. All preachers fiercely competing for space leased the open television networks, in national and local radio stations and invest in the organization of broadcasters Community legalized or informal. In der Archäologie werden elektrische Widerstandsmessungen routinemäßig zur Prospektion von Fundstellen eingesetzt. Die Methode ist kostengünstig, leicht anwendbar und liefert in den meisten Fällen zuverlässige und leicht zu interpretierende Ergebnisse. Dennoch kann die Methode die archäologischen Strukturen in manchen Fällen nur teilweise oder gar nicht abbilden, wenn die bodenphysikalischen und bodenchemischen Eigenschaften des Bodens und der archäologischen Strukturen dies nicht zulassen. Der spezifische elektrische Widerstand wird durch Parameter wie Wassergehalt, Bodenstruktur, Bodenskelett, Bodentextur, Salinität und Bodentemperatur beeinflusst. Manche dieser Parameter, wie z.B. der Wassergehalt und die Bodentemperatur, unterliegen einer saisonalen Veränderung. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht den spezifischen elektrischen Widerstand von archäologischen Steinstrukturen und evaluiert die Möglichkeit, auf Grundlage von Geländemessungen und Laboranalysen archäologische Strukturen und Böden als numerische Modelle darzustellen. Dazu wurde eine Kombination von verschiedenen bodenkundlichen, geoarchäologischen und geophysikalischen Methoden verwendet. Um archäologische Strukturen und Bodenprofile als numerische Widerstandsmodelle darstellen zu können, werden Informationen zur Geometrie der Strukturen und ihren elektrischen Widerstandswerten benötigt. Dabei ist die Qualität der Hintergrundinformationen entscheidend für die Genauigkeit des Widerstandsmodells. Die Geometrie der Widerstandsmodelle basiert auf den Ergebnissen von Rammkernsondierungen und archäologische Ausgrabungen. Die an der Ausbildung des elektrischen Widerstands beteiligten Parameter wurden durch die Analyse von Bodenproben gemessen und ermöglichen durch Pedotransfer-Funktion, wie die Rhoades-Formel, die Abschätzung des spezifischen elektrischen Widerstandes des Feinbodens. Um den Einfluss des Bodenskeletts auf den spezifischen elektrischen Widerstand von Bodenprofilen und archäologischen Strukturen zu berechnen, kamen die Perkolationstheorie und die Effective Medium Theory zum Einsatz. Die Genauigkeit und eventuelle Limitierungen der Methoden wurden im Labor durch experimentelle Widerstandsmessungen an ungestörten Bodenproben und synthetischen Materialien überprüft. Die saisonale Veränderung des Wassergehalts im Boden wurde durch numerische Modelle mit der Software HYDRUS simuliert. Die hydraulischen Modelle wurden auf Grundlage der ermittelten bodenkundlichen und archäologischen Stratigraphie erstellt und verwenden die Daten von lokalen Wetterstationen als Eingangsparameter. Durch die Kombination der HYDRUS-Ergebnisse mit den Pedotransfer-Funktionen konnte der Einfluss dieser saisonalen Veränderung auf die Prospektionsergebnisse von elektrischen Widerstandsmethoden berechnet werden. Die Ergebnisse der Modellierungsprozesse wurden mit den Geländemessungen verglichen. Die beste Übereinstimmung zwischen Modellergebnissen und den Prospektionsergebnissen konnte für die Fallstudie bei Katzenbach festgestellt werden. Bei dieser wurden die Modelle auf Grundlage von archäologischen Grabungsergebnissen und detaillierten bodenkundlichen Analysen erstellt. Weitere Fallstudien zeigen, dass elektrische Widerstandsmodelle eingesetzt werden können, um den Einfluss von ungünstigen Prospektionsbedingungen auf die Ergebnisse der elektrischen Widerstandsmessungen abzuschätzen. Diese Informationen unterstützen die Planung und Anwendung der Methoden im Gelände und ermöglichen eine effektivere Interpretation der Prospektionsergebnisse. Die präsentierten Modellierungsansätze benötigen eine weitere Verifizierung durch den Vergleich der Modellierungsergebnisse mit detailliertem geophysikalischem Gelände-Monitoring von archäologischen Fundstellen. Zusätzlich könnten elektrische Widerstandsmessungen an künstlichen Mauerstrukturen unter kontrollierten Bedingungen zur Überprüfung der Modellierungsprozesse genutzt werden.

Rationale: There is increasing evidence that short-term exposure to air pollution has a detrimental effect on respiratory health, but data from healthy populations, particularly infants, are scarce. Objectives: To assess the association of air pollution with frequency and severity of respiratory symptoms and infections measured weekly in healthy infants. Methods: In a prospective birth cohort of 366 infants of unselected mothers, respiratory health was assessed weekly by telephone interviews during the first year of life (19,106 total observations). Daily mean levels of particulate matter (PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ozone (O3) were obtained from local monitoring stations. We determined the association of the preceding week's pollutant levels with symptom scores and respiratory tract infections using a generalized additive mixed model with an autoregressive component. In addition, we assessed whether neonatal lung function influences this association and whether duration of infectious episodes differed between weeks with normal PM10 and weeks with elevated levels. Measurements and Main Results: We found a significant association between air pollution and respiratory symptoms, particularly in the week after respiratory tract infections (risk ratio, 1.13 [1.02-1.24] per 10 μg/m(3) PM10 levels) and in infants with premorbid lung function. During times of elevated PM10 (>33.3 μg/m(3)), duration of respiratory tract infections increased by 20% (95% confidence interval, 2-42%). Conclusions: Exposure to even moderate levels of air pollution was associated with increased respiratory symptoms in healthy infants. Particularly in infants with premorbid lung function and inflammation, air pollution contributed to longer duration of infectious episodes with a potentially large socioeconomic impact.

OBJECTIVE To assess the impact of potential risk factors on the development of respiratory symptoms and their specific modification by breastfeeding in infants in the first year of life. STUDY DESIGN We prospectively studied 436 healthy term infants from the Bern-Basel Infant Lung Development cohort. The breastfeeding status, and incidence and severity of respiratory symptoms (score) were assessed weekly by telephone interview during the first year of life. Risk factors (eg, pre- and postnatal smoking exposure, mode of delivery, gestational age, maternal atopy, and number of older siblings) were obtained using standardized questionnaires. Weekly measurements of particulate matter <10 μg were provided by local monitoring stations. The associations were investigated using generalized additive mixed model with quasi Poisson distribution. RESULTS Breastfeeding reduced the incidence and severity of the respiratory symptom score mainly in the first 27 weeks of life (risk ratio 0.70; 95% CI 0.55-0.88). We found a protective effect of breastfeeding in girls but not in boys. During the first 27 weeks of life, breastfeeding attenuated the effects of maternal smoking during pregnancy, gestational age, and cesarean delivery on respiratory symptoms. There was no evidence for an interaction between breastfeeding and maternal atopy, number of older siblings, child care attendance, or particulate matter <10 μg. CONCLUSIONS This study shows the risk-specific effect of breastfeeding on respiratory symptoms in early life using the comprehensive time-series approach.

An extension of guarantees related to rainfall-related risks in the insurance of processing tomato crops has been accompanied with a large increase in claims in Western Spain, suggesting that damages may have been underestimated in previous years. A database was built by linking agricultural insurance records, meteorological data from local weather stations, and topographic data. The risk of rainfall-related damages in processing tomato in the Extremenian Guadiana river basin (W Spain) was studied using a logistic model. Risks during the growth of the crop and at harvesting were modelled separately. First, the risk related to rainfall was modelled as a function of meteorological, terrain and management variables. The resulting models were used to identify the variables responsible for rainfall-related damages, with a view to assess the potential impact of extending insurance coverage, and to develop an index to express the suitability of the cropping system for insurance. The analyses reveal that damages at different stages of crop development correspond to different hazards. The geographic dependence of the risk influences the scale at which the model might have validity, which together with the year dependency, the possibility of implementing index based insurances is questioned.

Os meios de comunicação que atuam em perspectiva regional alcançaram, inegavelmente, maior visibilidade no contexto da globalização. Em se tratando de emissoras regionais de televisão há, em grande parte dos casos, a afiliação a uma rede nacional. Este estudo é sobre uma emissora regional, a TV TEM Bauru, integrante do grupo TV TEM de afiliadas à Rede Globo de Televisão. O trabalho se fundamenta em conceitos de região, espaço, território e local, mídia local e televisão regional. Tem como objetivo compreender as configurações desta TV, no que se refere às suas origens, vínculos corporativos e as condições de ordem tecnológica, de sustentação comercial e de cobertura jornalística, especificamente, a produção e circulação da informação jornalística gerada e difundida nas cidades da região de cobertura do grupo TV TEM. Visa também caracterizar a relação entre o espaço total de programação ocupado pela cabeça-de-rede em nível nacional e aquele destinado a programas jornalísticos produzidos localmente e, dentro destes, o tempo destinado à veiculação de anúncios publicitários em escala regional. Opta-se pelo método de abordagem dialético, dada a complexidade e as contradições do fenômeno investigado. Trata-se de uma investigação qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso, mas que incorpora dados quantitativos, e se baseia em observação e estudo de conteúdo jornalístico da emissora bauruense, além de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. A principal conclusão é que o espaço regional é limitado por constrangimentos de ordem comercial, por restrições impostas pela cabeça de rede e, ainda, por um projeto de regionalização que não contempla significativamente as nuanças regionais.(AU)

In recent months Kyiv has been intensifying its efforts to diversify Ukraine’s gas supply routes with a view to reducing the country’s dependence on imports from Russia. One of the steps which Kyiv has taken has been to make the unprecedented decision to start importing gas from its Western neighbours. In November 2012, Ukraine’s state-owned Naftogaz began importing gas through Poland under a two-month contract with RWE (the imports continued into 2013 under a separate deal), while in the spring of 2013 Ukraine started importing gas from Hungary. Kyiv is also currently looking into the possibility of purchasing gas from Slovakia. Furthermore, since 2010 the Ukrainian government has been working on the construction of an LNG terminal near Odesa. The authorities have declared that this will allow Ukraine to import up to 5 billion m3 of LNG a year by 2015. The government has also taken measures to increase domestic production, including from non-traditional sources, and it plans to replace gas-based with coal-based technologies in local power stations. Finally, in January 2013, the government signed a 50-year production sharing agreement with Shell. This paves the way for the development of Ukraine’s shale gas deposits.
