This text has the objective of reflecting and socializing the educa- tional practices and experiences of formation in service carried out in cities of the states of Paraná and São Paulo, as deployment of researches, projects and extension courses. The present elaboration contemplates studies on the organization of teaching and it is gui- ded according to the Historical-Cultural Theory, which sustains the pedagogical interventions to Children Education and Basic Educa- tion. The Historical-Cultural Theory is presented as a theoretical reference for a purpose of acting in a humanization and emancipa- tion perspective. Therefore, so that the didactic procedures be rich in meaning, the communication, the affection and the choice of the resources and procedures must act as essential characteristics in the teaching process.

During the process of development and urban sprawl in the city of Presidente Prudente (SP), some factors as the emergence of new centralities, the change in lifestyles and the expansion of equipments and urban infrastructure contributed to the dismantling and little appropriation of the central open space system. In this sense, the work is about the loss of continuity between the central squares of the city - Monsenhor Sarrion Square, July 9 Square, Bandeira Square and Nossa Senhora Aparecida Square - using different methodologies for character evaluation of each square, identifying the inviting and unattractive aspects of their spaces. The relations between these squares and its surroundings are characterized by analyzing interesting visual played on sketches, to complement character evaluation. Among these studies, it is also analyzed two spatial structures related to the squares – Calçadão and Quintino Bocaiuva Street - which have important architectural referring to the city's history and contribute to the central open space system configuration. General considerations obtained through diagnosis provided subsidies for the projectual proposed intervention, which aims to provide appreciation of the character of these public spaces and their articulation, promoting their use and constituting, thus, an important urban-environment set

Introduction: The elderly population has increased, and the aging process is responsible for physical and metabolic changes in the body. For the elderly remain independent, with a better quality of life, preventing and treating diseases responsible for this increased of mortality should remain physically active. Objective: To investigate the influence of two types of exercise intervention on physical fitness and physical activity levels in older practitioners of Rio Claro-SP. Method: The study included 18 older adults with mean age 65.8 years (± 2.88) divided into two groups, Program in Physical Exercises Health Unit (PEFUS, n = 9) and Adapted Volleyball (n = 9). Classes of PEFUS were held twice a week lasting 60 min with strength, aerobic endurance, agility, coordination and balance exercises. Classes of Volleyball Adapted were performed 2 times per week lasting 120 minutes, divided into volleyball fundamental exercises and game. For evaluation of physical skills (strength, agility, coordination and flexibility), was performed the AAHPERD test battery. All participants were assessed at the baseline and after 3 months of interventions. The statistical analysis used was the repeated measures ANOVA, through the SPSS version 17.0 and significance level p <0.05. Result: After the interventions there was an increase of leisure time from 362.2 ± 214.9 min / week and 16.7 ± 28.3 min / week to 541.7 ± 137.2 and 44.4 ± 44.8 min / week to Adapted Volleyball and PEFUS, respectively. The variable coordination showed significant improvements after the interventions, decreasing from 12.1 ± 0.7 to 10.8 ± 0.5 sec for Volleyball Adapted and from 14.8 ± 0.9 to 12.1 ± 0, 9 sec for PEFUS (p <0.05). Many experimental studies have been done in order to reduce costs and surgical time, besides, provide less chance of infection during surgery. A notificação espontânea por profissionais da saúde é o principal método de avaliação do risco/benefício da utilização de medicamentos, pois permite a análise da frequência, gravidade e expectativa dos eventos adversos a medicamentos (EAMs). No entanto, a principal limitação deste método é a subnotificação dos casos, causando grandes impactos na saúde pública, tais como gastos desnecessários para as instituições e diminuição da segurança do paciente. A fim de identificar técnicas de intervenção educativa efetivas no incentivo à notificação espontânea por profissionais da saúde nos diferentes níveis de atenção, realizou-se revisão sistemática nas bases de dados PUBMED, PAHO, LILACS e EMBASE no período de novembro de 2011 a janeiro de 2012, com posterior atualização em março de 2013, por meio da utilização de descritores científicos em farmacovigilância, buscando-se identificar estudos originais que avaliaram o impacto da intervenção educativa desenvolvida. Pela estratégia elaborada, foram identificados 101 artigos, dos quais 16 contemplaram os critérios de inclusão. A maioria dos estudos inclusos foram conduzidos na Europa (14), e a maioria das intervenções foi destinada ao nível terciário de atenção à saúde (11) e principalmente aos médicos (12). As técnicas efetivas de intervenção educativa identificadas foram multifacetadas, resultando no aumento do número absoluto, porcentagem ou taxa de notificação espontânea, além de melhorar a qualidade dos relatos de reações adversas a medicamentos (RAM): graves, inesperadas, relacionadas a medicamentos novos e com alta causalidade. Ademais, faz-se necessária educação permanente dos profissionais para maior adesão à farmacovigilância e contribuição para o gerenciamento de riscos

Beside aging process comes the incidence of dementia and, among them Alzheimer's disease (AD) accounts for approximately 60% of cases. This disease is characterized as a neuropathology with unknown etiology that causes cognitive deficits and behavioral disorders. Caring for patients with AD can cause an overload, both physical and psychological, which can cause high levels of stress on the primary caregiver. It is necessary that the caregiver also receives attention and develop activities that promote health benefits, while providing moments of distraction from the task of caring. Nonpharmacological interventions may be favorable for improving health with consequent decreased on the levels of stress. The objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of scientific papers that aimed to verify the effect of nonpharmacological interventions on stress levels in caregivers of patients with AD. To contamplate this goal was accomplished a systematic search in the following databases: Biological Abstracts, PsycINFO, PubMed/Medline, Web of Science, LILACS and SciELO. The following keywords and Boolean operators was used: “caregivers” OR “family” and “nonpharmacological interventions” OR “support groups” OR “therapies” AND “Alzheimer's disease” OR “Alzheimer's dementia” OR “Alzheimer” OR “elderly” AND “stress”. There were found 3studies that met inclusion criteria adopted for the present work, and none showed significant results for the variable stress. It is not possible to affirm, according to the studies, that nonpharmacologial interventions programs for caregivers of patients with AD are effective to influence and to control the stress. This report comes from psychological appointments to families of teenagers within the socio-educational approach of Assisted Freedom. The interventions were carried out to give teenagers the pertaining feeling to a family back and to manage conflict situations. The method included interviews and home appointments with the whole family, appointments in family groups within the institution and also with an available psychological attendance for urgent and emergent matters. In the mediator psychologist view, getting along with the family decreased teenagers feelings of abandonment and also their negative actions. Study results demonstrated the relevance of the proposal to improve the quality of the relationship between adolescents with their family, school and society in which they belong.

Abstract Intellectual disability is development atypical conditions that involve issues on a number of factors, such as intellectual skills, adaptive behavior, interactions and social roles. Furthermore, they report higher rates of physical inactivity than the general population, as well as participating less and less of regular physical activity, as they grow and age. The participation of people with intellectual disabilities in physical activity programs promotes, benefits of prevention of diseases, particularly cardiovascular, improvement of intellectual and cognitive ability in addition, regular physical activity promotes reduction of body fat. Therefore the aim of this study was to identify through a systematic review, physical activity programs for adults with intellectual disabilities and their extension of the benefits, limitations and recommendations, moreover, the following objectives: to analyze the types of physical activity programs and determine which is the most suitable for adults with intellectual disabilities, and to determine the benefits that physical exercises programs entail for adults with intellectual disabilities. The initial electronic search resulted in 2808 manuscripts. The predetermined exclusion criteria were: review process of the studies involved reading titles, abstracts and full texts checking. After all these phases, eight manuscripts met the inclusion criteria of the review. Articles presented participants aged between 18 and 67 years with mild to moderate intellectual disability. The intervention period was from 2.5 months studies ranged up to 9 months and the weekly frequency was from one to three times a week. Esta revisão integrativa buscou analisar a produção científica relacionada aos cuidados de enfermagem para pacientes com artrite. Foram incluídos 12 estudos experimentais, randomizados e controlados, publicados nas bases de dados CINAHL, MEDLINE, SciELO e LILACS, utilizando os descritores controlados "arthritis" e "nursing". Os resultados apontaram a efetividade de musicoterapia, estimulação elétrica neuromuscular, toque terapêutico e imagem guiada associada a relaxamento, para o tratamento da dor. Ser atendido por enfermeira especialista aumentou a satisfação com o atendimento, melhorou o impacto da doença e aumento a procura por serviços de saúde. Programas educativos específicos para portadores de artrite estimularam a prática de exercícios físicos e aqueles direcionados a pessoas com problemas crônicos em geral mostraram-se efetivos para controlar a dor e a incapacidade funcional. Concluímos que existe um conjunto de intervenções que podem subsidiar a prática de enfermagem baseada em evidências junto aos idosos com artrite.

OBJETIVO: Identificar modelos de intervenções psicoeducacionais e os seus efeitos em cuidadores de idosos com demência. MÉTODOS: Levantamento de estudos publicados entre janeiro de 2000 e abril de 2012 nas bases de dados PubMed, Web of Knowledge, Lilacs e SciELO, utilizando as seguintes palavras-chave "psychoeducational and caregiver", "cuidador e demência e psicoeducação" e "cuidador e intervenção". Apenas os artigos que denominavam a intervenção estudada como psicoeducação fazem parte do presente estudo. RESULTADOS: Foram encontrados 27 artigos com relatos acerca do impacto de intervenções psicoeducacionais em cuidadores de idosos com demência. Os resultados mais prevalentes desses estudos são: melhora do bem-estar dos cuidadores (37% dos estudos); aumento do uso de estratégias de enfrentamento (30%); diminuição de pensamentos disfuncionais (30%); aumento do conhecimento sobre os serviços disponíveis (19%); melhora da autoeficácia (15%); e aumento de habilidades para o cuidado (11%). A abordagem psicoeducacional descrita nos estudos é do âmbito informativo, cognitivo-comportamental, com técnicas de gerenciamento de estresse e de emoções; técnicas de resolução de problemas e apoio emocional. CONCLUSÃO: A intervenção psicoeducacional contribui significativamente para a melhora do bem-estar do cuidador, contudo ainda é necessária uma padronização dessa abordagem, em termos de estrutura, duração e conteúdos ministrados, para que haja evidências mais precisas do efeito desse tipo de intervenção.
