GURS:'Stamps' from the Concentration Camp, a-l.

The design of each are drawn in the miniature style of postage stamps and include mock postage prices. Presumably the method was inspired by the shortage of paper in the camp.GURS in Southern France, where these works were done, but the format is also used to stress the Irony of the content, especially in the Trio of designs marked "Liberte-Egalite-Fraternite. Aside from one marked "Avion de Gurs", all other are simply labelled "GURS" at the bottom, as is this were the country of origin of a postal system.

Resumen: En la primera parte de este artículo se mencionan textos sobre aspectos de la obra de Carlos Vega publicados en revistas científicas argentinas y en similares sedes de otros países, así como trabajos de este autor reeditados con posterioridad a su muerte. En la segunda se comentan los capítulos que conformarán el libro Estudios sobre la obra de Carlos Vega, de próxima publicación, algunos de los cuales ya aparecieron en años anteriores mientras que otros han sido escritos especialmente para la ocasión.

La Basílica Nacional de Luján : el proyecto de su construcción (1887-1890)

Resumen: Con motivo de conmemorarse los 125 años de la coronación pontificia de la Imagen de Ntra. Sra. de Luján, Patrona de la República Argentina, el autor recorre la historia de los distintos oratorios, capillas y templos que le han sido dedicados, desde 1630, año del milagro, deteniéndose en los comienzos de la construcción de la monumental Basílica neogótica, reconocida como una de las más importantes de América en su tipo. El proyecto, en cuanto al diseño y desarrollo, corresponde al P. Jorge María Salvaire, vicentino, con el permanente apoyo del arzobispo de Buenos Aires, monseñor Federico León Aneiros. La mencionada Basílica guarda particular importancia histórica y pastoral en razón de albergar en su camarín la Imagen original de Ntra. Sra. de Luján, una pequeña talla de la Inmaculada Concepción, de arcilla cocida y pintada, vestida luego a la usanza española y con corona.
