Influência do tempo sedentário na qualidade de vida e na percepção dos estados de ânimo em idosos fisicamente ativos

Introduction: Sedentary behavior is characterized by individuals who designed much of the day sitting or lying down activities, even if such conduct regular physical activity. Over the years people tend to be less active, worsening the quality of life. For healthy aging is necessary for the individual to be constantly active, and moving activities improve mood and quality of life, though little is known of the influence of sedentary behavior in these variables. Aim: To investigate the association between sedentary time, quality of life and mood states of elderly women engaged in physical activity. Methodology: The study included 68 elderly women who belong to the Physical Activity Program for the Elderly (PROFIT), for at least 6 months. These answered the Sedentary Behaviour Questionnaire, the Pentacle Welfare and IPAQ Short Version. The Pep States List Reduced and Illustrated (LEA-RI) was applied before and after a workout and before and after three times of sedentary behaviors. To evaluate the difference of sedentary behavior time average for each domain of quality of life was conducted the analysis of the 95% confidence interval for the STATA program version 12.0 and to the moods list data a non-parametric test - test binomial using SPSS version 17.0 program and has adopted a p≤0,05. Results: A moderate intensity physical activity was the most practiced (939.5 ± 650.2 min / week) and the activity most frequently performed in sedentary time was watching television (187.6 ± 96,4min / day). In general, the quality of life for the elderly is considered good (98.39%) and the disease is most prevalent hypertension (29.47%). After a physical activity older felt less useless, less shy and less fear and after a sedentary behavior, felt less agitated and less useless. Marcas da sexualidade construidas na idade média que contribuiram para o aparecimento da homofobia

Esse trabalho objetiva o estudo da sexualidade na Idade Média, a fim de analisar as marcas construídas pela história que contribuíram para a formação dos pensamentos fortemente presentes na sociedade contemporânea relacionados à homofobia. A Idade Média foi um período de grandes mudanças na sociedade, onde houve a disseminação de pensamentos relacionados à sexualidade que prejudicaram a vida de muitas pessoas, inclusive dos homossexuais. Portanto, para a realização dessa pesquisa serão considerados os acontecimentos marcantes sobre a sexualidade nessa época. Desse modo, considerando as concepções construídas e passadas de geração em geração, presenciamos atualmente grande ocorrência de episódios de preconceito e violência contra homossexuais, justificadas com argumentos fundamentados em ideias de tempos remotos. Assim, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, buscaremos compreender essas marcas deixadas pelo tempo utilizadas até hoje como instrumentos de preconceito e violência e geradoras de um fator contemporâneo, a homofobia

Modern society is characterized by the advance of technologies, the emergence and constant development of the technological field is responsible for a series of population adjustments, that being practically molded and daily transformed by media, which usually has the power of manipulating opinions and public approaches in every capacity and extensions of our lives, being a significantly and important tool, which most part of individuals in contemporary society can't work and live without, therefore most part of individuals depend on the use of many technological means, including social means, which have great relationship with the development and emergence of many psychological problems that completely impact on the social life of affected individuals, thus Physical Education is an area with the goal of verifying the level of influence that media reflects on the lifestyle choice to be followed and the relation of this influence with the presence and development of a series of psychological disorders that affect directly the health of those individuals. It has been gathered data about the subject according to scientific basis, more specifically, on Academic Google, Scielo and Pubmed, where it has been researched scientific articles that could contribute with the data and information to complete the text. A responsabilidade social no processo de adoção de inovação em empresas sucroenergéticas do centro-oeste do Estado de São Paulo.

The main objective of this paper was to verify the influence of the organization and management in social responsibility the decision of adoption, choice, justification and implementation of innovation in elaborates of sugar, ethanol and energy companies of the midwestern state of São Paulo. Using multivariable analysis of principal components and clusters, the variables were analyzed and companies classified. Adapted to contemporary situations, the Freeman (1975) model of taxonomies was the parameter with research information in personal interviews by semi-structured questionnaires. The activities investigated were the existence of programs and organization to improve the welfare and quality of life to employees and family (leisure, culture, health, self-knowledge, values, beliefs etc.), program and social volunteering organization for the community, programs and organization to encourage the training of educators and extension education and incentive programs and organization to research and scientific production. It was concluded that the best companies which included, in their organization structures, management practices embodied in social responsibility.

Innovation in the field of Information Technology (IT) have made companies evaluate their processes and activity of its supply chain to conform to this new reality. In the supply chain management, one of the tools that revolutionized the activities was the use of management information systems such as ERP tool. This system allows greater integration of data from multiple areas of the enterprise and beyond, giving more activities to processes and activities. This work aims to analyze the results and impacts of the restructuring of an equipment leasing process in a Brazilian media company and verify that the gains and improvements that were targeted in the initial design of this restructuring have been achieved. Also the risks identified with this change will be studied, the reactions of those involved in this process and the performance of the chain as a whole. To carry out this work was carried out a single case study with data collection in the assessed company and literature related to supply chain and information systems

Suicídio de idosos e mídia: o que dizem as notícias?

Como a mídia aborda o suicídio de idosos? E o que as notícias sobre suicídio de idosos nos dizem? Estas foram as perguntas que guiaram esta reflexão, que se debruçou sobre matérias de suicídios de idosos publicadas na mídia nacional, entre abril de 2010 e abril de 2013. Observamos que a palavra “suicídio”, até pouco tempo atrás “aquela-que-não-deveria-ser-nomeada” na imprensa, aparece na maior parte das notícias, no título e nos textos, demonstrando que o suicídio, como problema de saúde pública, afasta-se do campo privado para ocupar e compor o espaço público. Constatamos que entre as principais situações de risco que levam os idosos a cometer um “gesto de comunicação” extremo estão os efeitos de uma política econômica recessiva e o prolongamento da vida sem dignidade, mediante o medo da dependência e do provável “trabalho” aos demais; situações que indicam serem essenciais o desenvolvimento e o fortalecimento das redes de suporte social.
