Disseny d'un sistema de log genèric per a la implementació de sistemes operacionals.

Aquest projecte permetrà aprofundir en el coneixement de l'estructura de funcionament del PL/SQL d'Oracle (crides a procediments i, especialment, tractament d'excepcions), en la utilització de JDBC com a mecanisme de comunicació entre JAVA i Oracle, i en l'ús de les classes de generació d'interfícies gràfiques d'usuari (swing) i, a més, permetrà posar en pràctica funcionalitats d'Oracle que no havia tingut oportunitat d'emprar, com ara tipus genèrics de dades, objectes persistents o transaccions autònomes.

Construcció d'un SIG i sincronització de les etiquetes amb els objectes representats a GEOMEDIA PROFESSIONAL 5.2

En aquest treball de fi de carrera s'estudia en què consisteix en SIG i les seves característiques, en concret es realitza l'estudi d'un SIG comercial, GEOMEDIA PROFESSIONAL 5.2 D'aquest producte es presenta el problema de sincronització de les etiquetes amb les entitats que etiqueten, i es planteja una solució a aquest problema, mitjançant el desenvolupament d'una aplicació implementada amb MICROSOFT VISUAL BASIC 6.0

Capa de persistencia en .NET

En aquest projecte s'ha implementat una capa de persistència basada en metadades sota la plataforma .NET, utilitzant el llenguatge de programació C#.

PFC : Diseño de un Framework de presentación

L'objectiu principal d'aquest PFC és el disseny i la implementació d'un nou framework de presentació per a aplicacions J2EE, com el seu títol indica, que sigui capaç de solucionar els inconvenients dels actuals frameworks del mercat que implementen aquesta funcionalitat, així com facilitar la implementació de la seva funcionalitat al desenvolupador.

Refacció d'Ontologies : creació d'un plugin per a Protégé

El projecte centra els seus esforços en la darrera activitat: el refactoring d'ontologies. En concret, les expressades en OWL, el llenguatge per a ontologies pensat pel W3C. El resultat final del projecte ha estat la implementació en Java d'un plugin per a Protégé que permet l'execució d'operacions de refactoring sobre ontologies OWL. Part principal del plugin és un framework que ofereix el marc d'execució per a les operacions implementades i permet incorporar noves operacions sense haver-lo de modificar.

Projecte AWITGV : aplicació web per a informes del treball en grups virtuals

Aquest projecte vol dissenyar i implementar una aplicació web que permeti omplir els informes d'autoavaluació als estudiants de les assignatures amb pràctiques amb grup de la UOC. Una de les solucions és treballar mitjançant un entorn virtual, com és el Basic Support for Collaborative Work (BSCW), en el qual cada grup té el seu lloc privat on només poden accedir ells i els seus consultors.

Aquest treball de final de carrera permet aprofundir en els coneixements en la gestió de projectes informàtics, el disseny de sistemes i procediments SQL i la definició de jocs de proves. La recerca de solucions com ara l'aplicació de la generació de dades aleatòries i el disseny d'una base de dades consistent han estat les meves principals aportacions en aquest projecte.

Speech, language and communication therapy action plan

This is the first update newsletter of the Speech, language and communication therapy action plan. The action plan was developed by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) with the aim that all children and young people at risk of or presenting with speech, language or communication needs will be able to benefit from timely support and integrated services that best meet their requirements.The Public Health Agency (PHA), in partnership with the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB), has been tasked with implementing the action plan.The update includes news on the publication of the Healthy child, health future framework and highlights other points of progress so far, including the development of the Family Support NI website. Anàlisi de Requeriments per un Model de Xarxa de Telecomunicacions amb aplicació des d'un Sistema d'Informació Geogràfica

La idea principal és crear un model d'una xarxa de telecomunicacions gestionable des d'un programari d'informació geogràfica (GIS). Es tracta de dissenyar una xarxa simple de fibra òptica similar a les que es fan per a la connexió directa de clients amb aquesta tecnologia.

RetroDisseny de Bases de Dades Relacionals

El plantejament inicial d'aquest projecte és el de aconseguir obtenir l'esquema conceptual originari de qualsevol base de dades relacional per a fer tasques de reenginyeria. Es pretén, a més, dotar al diagrama ER a obtenir d'extensions emprant llenguatge de definició de restriccions (OCL), per la qual cosa emprarem les llibreries de funcions Dresden OCL.
